I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S Advance (I9070), upgraded it to Jelly Bean, and rooted it.
Now, I notice there is no indicator light????
Is this a software glitch I have introduced, or is it true this hardware model has no such multi-colored indicator LED for telling you about text messages, voice messages, etc., etc.?
Firstly welcome to our community. Secondly, there is no ICS for our phone. There is only GB and JB. Thirdly, yes, it's true that our phone doesn't have a notification LED.

No problem your welcome! Root allows you to use some very useful apps, most of them requires root acces to work!!
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Root gives some apps permission to control for example your CPU so that you can overclock etc.
Apps are not allowed to control cpu, gpu, modifying system files etc so when you are rooted the app will ask you if its ok to give access to them instead of making the descision itself to just deny access.
Hi guys could anybody prepare a stock jellybean rom for this phone?? Really have no idea when Samsung plans to update its midrange devices... Even the s3 rollout isn't complete Somebody pls teach Samsung!!
ahhhhh, close that

Because is another useless thread, that's why it has to be closed. Who do you think that can prepare and release a stock firmware for Samsung besides Samsung??? Anyway, since you came up with this thread and with this request for me is clear that you will never notice the differences between the JB and the GB.. So, why do you need JB?
Please, someone close this....

Because we all think that JB is released when we see therad titled " Jelly Bean ROM". It's like you giving us that, not asking for it. When it release there will be thread for it. Till than please don't make us hope it is released now!!! :cyclops:
We need the kernel source for JB before we can do anything else

The leaked update s2 internet. November 16 was also expected, but the test software on the market. Do you have a sense for the space between i9070. wait, I'm tired of looking at the internet every day thoroughly.
translated with google translate. I'm sorry for bad english.
I can´t believe this thread is still opened.
There´s no JB released for our device.
Today Samsung Spain answer me a tweet:
"We have NO OFFICIAL confirmation"
Finally: Close the thread

It looks like Sammobile has uploaded official Jelly Bean ROM for Thailand and Indonesia. Since I'm a new user I can't link. But that's what we've been waiting for, right? We should be able to install that without a problem?

Thanks to Upconvet and BlackC10udMy's patience and assistance in a previous thread, I was able to update the standard Honey Comb to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on my GT.
Now my question is how can I update my version of jb, as the phone and 3g connections don't work. Otherwise, I think my jb is great!
I used the following files with my Galaxy Tab 8.9 P-7300 wifi/ 3G model, purchased in the UK:
CWM 6.0.0.8,
CM-10-20121111-unofficial-p5, and
Gapps-jb-20120716.
Are they the most recent files?
Would appreciate some experienced help as I keep worrying about bricking my GT...
Kind regards,
Golf Educator
Maybe you installed a 7310 rom... this tab doesn't have 3g or phone

Thanks for responding superiscch, but I was very careful and I do believe the Rom I used was for the P-7300. I'm just wondering if there is an updated version to the Rom available, and if there is how I can get it?
Kind regards,

Have you checked the development forum. You'll find the available roms there.

Full features?. I don't think somebody will spend such a much time for an old phone. Just search in themes & apps section for note 3 launcher/weather widget/keyboard. That's the closest you could get
Hi Vijay,
If what you're asking for is a firmware that was created for note3 that fully runs on note1.. That is like asking a unicorn from Santa. Doesn't exist and never will.
Sorry for the harsh truth.
