First i have backed up my contacts in lg pc suite and then flashed my p990 to a new rom, Now pc suite recognizes my p990 like another phome and i cant get my contacts back, does enyone knows where and in which file contacts are saved or how to get them back

Hi there i activsync my phone to my pc then updated the rom then when i reconeccted the phone as i always do to active sync eveything back it wont send anything back i have put the name in the same as i always do and still nothing can someone help me please.
I there a place that stores the files so i can get them back that way as some contacts i had i need lol someone help

hi i installed the new miui rom last night ,great,i removed my sd card and sim,when i replaced sim, a load of my contacts were gone,i noticed i cant use kies now .is there any way to get my contacts back on my gsg i have the contact .bak and spb files saved anyone help please

Have you installed the Nexus S usb drivers?
MIUI is developed using CM7, and CM7 is developed using Nexus S rom. So you need Nexus S driver.

hi downloaded drivers ,but it states i need java jre jdk downloaded but having a nightmare installing them surely there must be another way,,what about the bak files i have saved many thanks

no i dont think so how can i find out ?
I cant understand why people dont sync with google as it saves all the messing around with saving contacts.
i had sync on my last rom ,how can i check?
try adding new contacts and check in ur gmail account?
Hi everybody. I have a problem with my p970 after flash CM7. My laptop cannot connect to the phone. Lg pcsuite IV show the problem that it cannot open the phone. Can s.o help me?

That's because you have CM. Use my phone explorer
Reinstall LG pc suite, make sure you have all the drivers installed. Restart phone, keep usb debugging on, and keep usb mass storage mode off. It should work. .
If not, repeat a couple times, change the com ports ( usb slots ). Also make sure you are using original company provided usb cable.
If still not, then screw it. LG pc suite has no potential benefits. It's not like itunes or zune... You can do all the stuff without it; like transferring files, backing up data, connect to internet etc... Just don't bother much if nothing of above mentioned tips work for you.

Stock ROM has LG Suite packages, the way to communicate between phone and PC. But It should be reminded that CM for P970 does not have LG Suite packages, so you can't connect the phone..

and be sure platform modem is activated in peripherals manager. this is what makes device knowable by LG softwares

I just messed a simple gingerbreak rooted device with cm. Though luck buddy ilovetudu, don't waste time in reinstalling.
how to get back my contacts which was sync in pc via pc suite... now i rooted my mob... and i need those contacts... and my pc suite is not all detecting it.... so how to get my contacts back.. pls tell

I backed up my sms's with LG PC Suite before i installed V10e. But now there's no option of resending the sms's back to the phone, there's only the Phone->PC option.
Any useful tip?

It can't be restored again, I've tried before..
If you want to backup SMS, use any app at the market, that backup to sdcard or backup online.

Hey guys, newb to android community here!
So I upgraded my 4X to 4.2.1 then i rooted it and I must have messed sth up so i tryed to restore it.
I couldn't connect to my pc via LG software but I can via MTP so i used a program called LG Flash Tool,
now i am back to 4.0, i re-rooted but i still can't connect to LG Pc Suite in order to upgrade to 4.1.2,
in fact when i select LG software connection at usb settings my phone freezes and my pc can't recognise it.
I have reinstalled all drivers and searced google for 2 days but still i can't find any answers. Can anyone help me?
Try to fix your phone flashing yours location stock rom with flashtool and .kdz
