Hi,
searched the forum but i didn´t find an answer.
1. Can we use Photosphere with android 4.2.2 ?
2. If yes, how can i activate it ?
Thanks and best regards
René
1. No, not with the stock Sony camera.
2. Try the camera from the GS4 Google Edition - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341284

Could you please tell me where did you download 4.2 camera? I flashed it but Sphere Camera doesn't seem to work and the gallery crashes when trying to open any album

Photosphere will absolutely not work on the Galaxy S models because they lacks a gyroscope. You'll have to buy a new phone if you want that feature. You can change the phone model in your build.prop, it'll run but it will not work correctly.

You still need root though.

for me, returns the error "app not installed", running jellybeer with werewolf kernel.
Stock V20a only photosphere not working.

ok, fixed it by renaming gallery2.apk in system/app. everything works, even photosphere, has the same bug as aosp camera, with touch focus & led.
So i need to root the phone if i want to have photosphere?

well, you could have photosphere long ago, the one from nexus4, but yeah you needed root. this one doesn't need root, but if it doesn't work on stock, then you probably do ;p
Issue: Purchased a rooted S3 w/4.2.2 with no google apps. Installed Gapps JB-20130301-signed.zip and everything works great except the camera. Receive Camera Error - Can't connect to camera every time I try to open it. I believe I have tried everything posted on here with no luck. I really do not want to go back to the stock Android version. I'm desperate for a solution. Given my configuration below, does anyone have a solution I can try?
Equipment
Samsung S3 (sch-r530u)
Android 4.2.2
Baseband R530uvxamd4
Kernel 3.4.37-aokp-g12cad70
gapps JB-20130301-signed.zip
Signed, frustrated

Quick answers
Yes, move to correct forum
and yes stock android will fix your problem as S3 shouldn't have that version yet as camera issues are a problem.
Hi, I read about this on Xataka:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.android.addoncamera.timeshift
It seems to be only for Xperia with 4.2+, and by the moment its confirmed for Z's family at least, someone with the 4.3 leaked can confirm if its available for T and V?
If google play dont let you install on T and V there is some way to made it work without installing Z1's camera mod? I supose maybe only need to install Z1's framework and get the .apk
Thanks to the one who test it, I have the V since a week ago, but im trying to calibrate the battery so i prefer dont be flashing 4.3 by the moment

What a shame...
Thank you, i'll wait for the official update to start trying the Z1 camera mods, hopefully they wont have any bugs if devs can use 4.3 to improve compatibility.
Anyway im looking for the apk file, maybe with some luck... All we know that gplay uncompatibility is not always system uncompatibility...
Timeshift apk is available for download on the forums. I can't remember exactly where I downloaded if from but can confirm it works perfectly on the leaked version of 4.3 for the Xperia T.
