[Q] Problem while connecting to Kies

Hi,
I am having a strange problem while connecting my Galaxy S to kies. I've seen all related threads on this forum but none of them worked for me.
When I start kies and connect my phone to my PC. The kies just keeps on trying to connect to the phone but never connects.
That means the phone is detected by PC but Kies cannot make a connection to it. I tried reinstalling Kies Drivers but it didn't work either.
Here is the Kies and mobile Firmware version that I am using:
Kies: 2.0.0.11044_11
Firmware: I9000DDJG4

Have you tried completely uninstalling Kies, rebooting PC and then a fresh install of an older version of Kies?

[Q] Kies cant connect to Galaxy SL 9003

As visible in the screenshot, my Galaxy SL 9003 just wont connect to Kies. The connecting animation just keeps going on and on no matter how long the phone is connected to the PC. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kies multiple times and my phone has never been rooted or anything.
Using Kies on Windows XP, Kies version 2.0.1.11053_99
Any help is appreciated.

So I tried it on a friend's Windows 7 computer and it worked there, Kies detects the phone there...

After updating to the latest version of Kies, even the windows 7 machine cant connect to my phone anymore.

Simple problem would be with your mobile phone just switch off and switch on.
or check you dont have any start up launchers.

[Q] Can't connect to pc

Hi,
Maybe for you this is a standard question. But i've got a problem. When i connect my phone to my pc nothing happens on my phone. My pc sees an unknown device and can't install the driver for the device. That's because nothing on my phone happens. This is so on all my pc's at home. So how can i solve this problem..
I'm running JVR Odexed with Darkcore 3.0

You have installed a Kies? It solved my problem with this

uninstalled it ; no difference..

reinstalled kies, put usb option in galaxy and conect to pc.

already did everything, odin doesn't recognize it either when i have it in download mode..

hey guys
i am not able to connect to kies.
It always show some error asking to activate usb debugging and says connect in pc studio mode
i uninstalled and reinstalled kies but still not working
when i connect my phone to pc it recognizes the hon and also starts charging
plz help

Disable USB debugging.

i have disabled usb debugging but sam problem continues ..
this has happened after i got an update on kies

Update Kies and also try different USB ports.

tried all things but cannot connect to kies
the message is shown as
reconnect the device in samsung kies mode
current connections not supported by kies
i have disabled the usb debugging mode from setting>application>development>usb debugging
can someone help me with this

Same problem here.. think it's modded ICS rom related... hope it'l get solved once official ICS gets released...

im on stock LA4

On my build I've found that my front usb ports fail when connecting to kies 99% of the time, but back ports are pretty reliable.
I take it you don't have root or cwm? These will affect kies connection. Also if you've frozen any samsung apps, it's likely kies will fail. To be honest, even when I was fully stocked it failed often, buggy as hell.
Another thing to try, put it in usb storage mode, connect in a back port so it loads drivers, disconnect. Then attach in same port in normal mode. Sometimes this can help. If no luck, try kies wifi after having attached in usb storage mode.

No root and kies wifi also fail :/

Had the same problem. Windows 7 home, 64-bit.
Today I shut down the Samsung Note, then put it on again and ..... no problem with the connection to KIES. I hope it will connect again tomorrow and on.

Actually i unonstalled the kies firat and then all samsung drivers(this is imp. And must)......reinstalled them and connected the phone
Now all good kies recognises my phone

Kies is there only on Samsung issued firmware..
Kies will not work on anything that is custom .. be it GB or ICS

Seems this problem has resurfaced. I am on ICS - upgraded via Kies, then rooted.
Now Kies gives me the 'usb debugging' error, regardless of what is set for USB debugging and will not connect.
This is an updated Kies - and it appears there is an updated HK ICS rom out.

HELP full wipe

Hello guy's, i upgrade my galaxy s advance to cyano but i forgot to make a full wipe , now my galaxy is on boot loop and i have no recovery mode, i trying on with volume + home and power button and this just come to black screen and shutdown.
i try put my cellphone on download mode but usb cabe is not recognized. i try it on various computers and nowhere nothing happens, I turn on the USB cable to the computer in download mode and will not appear exactly nothing on the computer, I thought I'd be a problem but if the drive appear unknown device but nothing appears, I think that can be a problem in fitting usb cable, I'm desperate here looking for some solution, just need to give a full wipe connect to my galaxy, is there any way to fix this?

You can use only Odin in Download mode, to flash stock firmware.

but I insert the usb cable and nothing happens, it not appears that cable was connected or something, and I own all the drivers and samsung kies on my computer, I imagine it must be some problem with the cable slot on the phone, because it already tested on 2 computers running different systems opercionais, (windows, ubuntu) and used 4 different types of cables and none of them gave the signal to the computer.
what can I do now? ; s

When you go to downlaod mode and Odin is started - you do not get anything in Odin (that phone is connected).
