Hello all
I have a problem. I've installed miniCM10 JB 4.1.1. Everything was fine. I got smooth scrolling and my favorite game fruit ninja was running well. But as I set min CPU level to 245 to avoid the black screen bug, when unlocking, somthing whent wrong I think. I stared to have, buttons highligts, as thay are not touched. Picture scrambles, for a second for time to time. And fruit ninja has a heavy, I mean heavy lag. The game itself is running smooth, but touches appear after 3 to 5 seconds later. And some times touches are even not detected. I've experemented with various of options, in performance and developer options menu, no success. The menus and the ui are running smooth.
After that, i've restored the stock rom, via flash tool and stock kernel. Updated the phone via PC Companion, the phone running well, but even with the stock rom, I am getting the touch problem. Way ligher then it was in JB but is there. I've deleted any ext partitions on the sd card. Then flashed the alfs 8 kernel and installed GingerDX as it running perfectly on my phone, and the lag is the same as JB in fruit ninja. Other runnig smooth. Screen view is moving, even in recovery. Like you are not fixed your tv antena, and the picture is not centered but is shifted to the middle of the screen. In the upper side I see the bottom of the screen, if you can understand what I mean. So I am feeling that I have some hardware issue I guess. Any ideas.
Thank you very much.
I think that its a h/w issue.
Take your phone to SE.
Yes, it is a hardware problem......I had the same problem - lag in touches, random touches etc. and now the touch is not working at all.:crying:
Your best option is sending it to Sony....:good:

Possible, but I don't know where is the digitizer. I suppose I must remove the front panel, but I don't know how. I see there are some six corner screws on the back of the panel.

Hello!
I have a big problem with my Xperia Z...
I put it in 'Flight Mode'...
I then threw it into the air.
Rather than flying away (as expected), it came down onto the concrete.
Both the screen and the glass on the back are shattered.
The screen doesn't work and has a blue line down the centre.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Simple
Just pour some HCl on it
It'll bind the cracks back together
I'm not sure why it landed on the ground though
Maybe rom problem

Damn... But I use my own ROM...
I must inform my users at once, to stop this from being a problem to other XZ users!
Hydrogen Chloride? That sounds so ridiculously, stupidly insane that it might just work!

May be it's hardware problem?
when you put your phone into flight mode, did you see any wings coming out from it?
If not, then Sony should have to look what they've just made

Editing a few xml lines might get flight mode working
Does your phone have working drivers to support flight mode?

Now that you mentioned it... I didn't see the wings... But for my Xperia T it would just hover around itself. (Magically powered by the souls of otters).

hi guys, I have some problems with my phone/battery i'm using rimmer's aosp atm but it is surely not rom related btw (I've already done some troubleshooting myself!)
well the phone (xperia T) started suddenly to shut down itself randomly. i did many tests (i was afraid about the phone sdcards at the beginning), then i noticed that if i keep the wall charger connected the phone never shuts down, so i think i have a died battery? do you agree?
only solution take it to the service centre?
thanks in advance!!
May I ask, how old is your phone?
less than 1 year old: i bought it exactly 9 months ago ;(

hmmm possible, but I'd expect 2 years shelf life. Well who knows how long it was laying on the shelf.
There were some defect battery reports with reboot symptoms.
Thanks. Yes I remember someone reported that, but here it doesn't reboot, it suddenly shut down. then I reboot, and it shut down almost immediately after the launcher start up. If I reboot with charger plugged in, it stays on...
It seems to happen especially when battery is around 50%, and not happening when battery is fully charged..?!
Well will try soon if that will happen with stock based too, if so I will restore the backup TA, flash a stock FTF and then go to service.. ;(
Thanks again bye!
I have similar problems , does/did your phone shut down if you open the recovery ? , did you fix it ?
phone did shutdown suddenly when it was on, with any rom i tried. but strangely, in recovery it didn't shutdown if i remember right, in fact i could try different roms and don't remember it shutting down while in recovery.
brought it to the service, they replaced the battery, and problem was definitively fixed this way

So we can pretty much conclude that it is the battery
You can also feel it that your battery is getting hotter then normal or if you take it out it you can spin it like spintop

Don't post questions in general section. btw, there are 2 different panels available for xperia Z. yours is probably made by Sharp.
Check your panel's manufacturer by this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39259051&postcount=207

As u say u have Flashed many roms so u must have a unlock bootloader... And u may have lost ur DRM keys which is necessary for Bravia Engine to work....
So ur Bravia Engine might not working...that's the reason...
Hello, fellas, I bought the E6553 and it was updated to 32.2.A.0.253, I disabled the bloatware that I'm not using, but the phone is heating too fast and too much even when only being here in XDA labs. The screen brightnes is like half, and I can almost cook eggs on my E6553, I get 50k on Antutu... is a factory reset an option, or should I make a PC Companion repair?
Will someone help me ?
This phone heats up and it's quite normal. You can try many options but the best one is to get rid of it.
I've got mine as gift so don't have invoice and warranty card so cannot sell it easily.
Or
You can try underclock the cpu. Further check the Rev of phone on the box. Mine is Rev 2 and it's gets hot easily. Rev 5 is said be cool one.

I'm considering flashing fresh new ftf from flashtool, but will this make atleast a little bit differense at all?
By the way, my phone came with 6.0.1 installed, with chinese language and Z5's dark theme, that means that someone has done that, can this be the reason or whatever?
I flashed a stock .ftf, but the bugs are still there, what if I go back to Lollipop ?
