For what ? This isn't a important thing. It won't work on Android 2.3.x, it's clearly written in the filename : android-support-v4.jar, v4 means Android Version 4.x

The CM Wiki is your friend. Here you go: wiki.cyanogenmod.org/index.php?title=Cooper_Info
But be aware CM 7.x has a serious unpatched vulnerability: code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=4735

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S I9000 PDroid ROM?

I have been looking on your site for a good 6 hours for a ROM that supports PDroid can anyone give me a link to one I have a galaxy s i9000! Thank you for your attention.
I don't think any of the roms natively support PDroid.
I have never used PDroid, but from its descriptions it seems that you can patch any AOSP rom yourself.
Aosp?

Pardon my noobieness Aosp? I tried patching a stock deodexed rom like the description says but when I flash the patch it gets stuck in bootloop. Any tips?
Stock deodexed is not AOSP. AOSP means android open source project. Stock means rom made by Samsung that contains proprietary codes. You want to use roms such as cyanogen mod and android open kang project AOSP.

Could you maybe get me an aosp rom that supports pdroid or an already patched one? Please and thanks for your help.
Just look inside the development section. Any thing that says android open kang or open source is AOSP. Cyanogen mod is also AOSP. None of the are patched so far as I know

CyanogenMod 10.2 M1 [4.4]

SOURCE-CM BLOG
CyanogenMod 10.2 M1 Release
With all the Android 4.4 hype, we haven’t forgotten about CM 10.2. Tonight the buildbots will focus their efforts on building and shipping out CyanogenMod 10.2 M1. Builds are already hitting the servers (please be patient, this will take a while). We are targeting over 70 devices for this initial M-release.
As we mentioned yesterday, we will continue to work on the 10.2 code branch, in parallel to all of our Android 4.4 efforts. For those that will inevitably ask, we have not made any decisions with respect to what devices will make the leap to the KitKat code base and likely won’t have that information for a few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy some of the hard work our contributors have placed into bringing you Android 4.3 and look forward to additional functionality as we move towards M2 and the eventual ‘stable’ release.
Happy Flashing,
The CyanogenMod Team
Thanks a lot!
Change the title from "CyanogenMod 10.2 M1 [4.4]" to "CyanogenMod 10.2 M1 [4.3]". Android 4.4 will be CM11
Is it really worth to open a thread when a new M build from cyanogenmod comes out?
If someone is using this new build for our device, could you pls
check if BT calls is working?

That is wright, it should CM11
Stupid question, at the moment the only rom based on 4.4 is the Slim Rom 4.4 Test Edition, it's correct ? No others, right ?

It does. TRIM support was included by Google to AOSP 4.3 and above and CM11 is based upon AOSP 4.4 so yes, it does. Try running LagFix app from the PlayStore. It should work well.

[Q] develop app above API 14 (ICS 4.0)

Hello guys, I have a question here. I need to develop an android app on my Ace using API 10 which is Android 4.0, but we know that there's no official 4.0. So my question is, can I use some custom ROM where they say that their custom rom is 4.0, 4.1, etc like the one based on cyanogenmod? or maclaw's AOSP (ICS and JB), can I build an app with API level 10 or more using that rom?
Yes, u can. And android 4.0 api is 14 not 10. Api 10 id gingerbread.
