There are few Tmobile note users because it was only for sale a very short time.
Use the ATT note forum, it is the same device. If you want to use an ATT ROM and there isn't a Tmobile equivalent, use the instructions in the "vibration fix" thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41533675
And then you can run any ROM. Be sure you understand that thread though.
Really? That's awesome I'll check it out.... Thnx..:thumbup:

I never got the hang of flashing AT&T ROMs on the T-mobile version. I asked a couple of times in their forums whether certain ROMS would work, but didn't get much of a response. Maybe i'll try one and see. As long as it doesn't brick my phone.
Off topic...
It works fine on any rom, but pay attention to that thread and also learn about the ROMs. The boot image and replacement files that you use have to come from a similar Tmobile ROM. So if you want to run a 4.2.2 ROM, take the files from something like cyanogenmod 10.1.0. If you wanted to use a 4.1.2 ROM, then that would be cyanogenmod 10.0. ICS =cm9.
That boot image is basically the kernel. You cannot flash ATT kernels.
Warning. Might ruin your phone doing this.

No not yet... and dont try it cause it will brick your tab, but always remember if you brick it as long as you can get into download mode you can always unbrick your tab (Sprint) using EA-24.
BTW: Wrong catagory for questions. Use Q&A
Sorry I've been reading this forum all day
Yeah I already bricked it a few times and then brought it back with EA24, which is what I am running now. Is there anything better? I really want those CRT on/off animations and stuff.
I too would love to see a GB rom for us. Probably won't happen though.

Well if you could flash a rom to it -it wasn't "bricked". The term "brick" is used far to loosely now. Its bricked when you cant restore with software and you have to either replace or repair board with jtag etc. What you did was simply screw a flash up so device wouldn't boot a rom.

You will but you will likely have to wait for your carrier or Samsung to update you via kies or you flash manually once its released.
PS. You shouldnt be creating topic sin this section, this is for devs/chefs only for posting roms/kernels/ref etc. Stick to Q&A and read sticky topics.
Hey, question: It's a sprint Tab, but I don't use Sprint and I don't care if the cell modem doesn't work at all. Is the rest of the hardware so different that I can't use one of the GSM ones, for example?

Do you think that bumping your post two hours after posting it is courteous?
I just got a Galaxy Tab WiFi myself, but I did my research *before* I bought it. No Gingerbread is available, that I know of. There are not many alternative ROMs for the WiFi only model.
What did you use in your rooting attempt? The only two ways I know are with a Windows app or with z4root, an Android app. I haven't tried either one, here is a link to z4root on this forum.

SuperOneClick should be able to help you root your Tab.
Here's the Noob Rooting Guide with links and downloads.
Always do your research. The Development forums will be one of your best resources for your Tab.

No offense but if you're going to criticize you might as well not even comment to avoid any frustrations or arguments as a result. Thank you for the link, I was able to find z4 and lag fix yesterday.... applied both but i might roll back on the lag fix since I have no haptic feedback now unless anyone knows of a fix? I wasn't able to find anything on Google... wifi only tab and p1010 aren't too popular searches.

*sigh* waiting for this too..
****ty Samsung , is it so hard to just make an official Gb for this little tab considering the workforce they have at their disposal.
At one point I had heard that the Sprint stock GB (2.3.4) update worked on the Wifi only tabs, but I don't have a wifi only to test with.
I haven't heard of any alternative roms for the wifi only version.

EDIT: from other answers here the Sprint GB 2.3.4 ROM stock or rooted sounds the way to go, so it looks like this should work for you as it did for me on my Verizon CDMA tab.
It's hard to say for sure, experimentation is part of the fun, but killing the tab isn't. I didn't find any definitive answers on flashing a Sprint CDMA ROM on to a Verizon CDMA Galaxy Tab (for example), so I decided to try for myself:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255339
I suspect doing a FULL ROM flash would be a *very* bad idea (it seems doing that with a GSM ROM on other (non-GSM) tabs KILLS it). However, the technique I used was only to apply the kernel and filesystems, so I would *think* if you had a backup from before (always best to have a backup anyway, right?) you could always revert. You may want to look around and check to see if stock WIFI images are out there (I don't know for sure) but the Voodoo or CwM (ClockworkMod) recovery backups should be fine either way.
Then if you apply the filesystem and kernel files from 2.3.4 and they don't work you should be able to revert (I would assume, I can certainly flash back and forth on mine). I would *think* the kernel supports vanilla hardware + CDMA additionally (i.e. you don't need it, but it doesn't hurt), but may be fine.
But again, unless you're prepared to take the risk, I cannot say for sure, you can wait and see if anyone else chimes in, but that's my take.

I have the P1010 also and from what I've heard, the two models (P1010 and P1000) have different hardware which makes the latter model possible for the ginger update while ours likely will never get it.

No offence but you are the one who was rude by bumping your topic after 2 hours and also accusing people who didnt answer as not courteous, so obviously you are going to get criticism.
Your problem is that you cant be bothered to go read or search and expect people to jump on your topic and bring all the info to you. This is XDA-developers, not tech support, try and at least help yourself first before demanding answers.

You can save a flashable ROM in the sdcard. Then if the tab got bricked, you can insert the sdcard in and reflash again. But i don't recommend doing this because me myself never flashed my tab, only my nexus one.

Hello!
Let me just say I have been long overdue with registering here. I have been looking for help threads here for about 6 months on my Galaxy S3 phone and other questions. Awesome forum and really loving it.
And also, if this question is somehow "overdone" (I can see it being a question at a regular basis) OR posted in the wrong forum. Then sorry! I am however very thankful for a reply to it, and if this thread needs to be moved then go ahead. (And if it needs to be taken down, I would be very thankful for a reply)
I installed a custom rom on my Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305N a while back. First I used clockworkmod to fix a loader, rooted and all that stuff. Then I installed the only Cyanogenmod I could find. (It wasn't an officially supported one at the time, I have no idea how that rom is doing now however)
I then reformatted everything to the original loader and rom. It looks mostly the same as it did before, but with some new features.
However, I need to send the phone to repair. The battery is defect and the charger seems to drain its battery.
A phone support guy that I know, told me that it is possible to see a "history" on all the roms and roots and etc, that has been done to the phone. In order to make sure that nobody reloads the warranty Rom and sends it off to repair. Is this true?
If so, how can I fix this? Is there any way to just reboot the phones so called history? Or did he just tell me this to scare me off?
Is there any way I can test my Samsung if it is eligable for warranty, without sending it off to their repair? (And do they check all phones for custom roms?)
Thanks for any help! Sorry for the LONG thread.
I am not that good with computers and programming. Could be worth mentionning! I managed to load the rom through tutorials, that's it. =P

Thank you very very much!
In fact, thanks to all good replies. The triangle thing was what I was looking for! I am a total rookie but I feel as though I learned quite a lot. Perhaps I should root my new phone now. "Haha".
No but, I actually got one question.
How do I know if it really is my official rom? I read somewhere, that every telephone-operator has their own Rom. So just picking one of the Roms might not work?
How do I know if the source is correct? I'm a bit concerned that I might format the phone, send it in, and they notice that I flashed with the wrong Stock Rom.
I have a Galaxy S3 i9305N with the operator Tele2 in Sweden. Sammobile.com has 3 stock Roms available (One only for members though) Which one is correct? Or does it not matter?
Thanks for any help again.
Many apologies if I am a bad googler. This is one of my first issues I have never been able to Google my way out of ;P
EDIT:
GT-I9305N Sweden 2013 March I9305NXXBMC2 I9305NCOVBMC2
GT-I9305N Nordic countries 2013 January 4.1.2 I9305NXXBMA2 I9305NNEEBMA2
GT-I9305N Sweden 2012 September 4.1.1 I9305NXXALIA I9305NCOVALI7
Those three are my result. How do I know which one I should go with?
EDIT2:
I was looking around a bit. I think the right one would be 2013 March (Top) right? Thing is, I find another one through a Swedish forum with a thread just like this one.. and it puzzles me what to pick. Does it matter at all? I used the one from the Swedish thread a while back, and I noticed it differed a bit from the Rom I had on the phone from purchase... Is it best to go with one from Sammobile? (And if so, which one.. )
Okay my friend! I checked it out...
On http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9305N are only 3 firmwares for the I9305N
BMC2 is for Sweden and 4.2.1
BMA2 is for Finland and also 4.2.1 but
ALIA is for Sweden an 4.1.1!
Now is the question with which firmware your phone was coming?
I guess, my friend, I don't know the answer... you could try each firmware...

Hey XDA!
I recently purchased an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. It has MF3 and is rooted (obviously). I installed SafeStrap earlier this morning and was looking for custom roms to put onto my phone. However, I was unable to find any for the Active version. I have seen plenty for the regular s4, but none for mine. Do you guys know of any that I could use? Or a better question would be is it even possible? I dont think I can put the roms for the regular s4 on but correct me if im wrong.
Thanks in advance.
