[Q] Lost access to H+ - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I rooted my HTC One I originally always had H+ in my area. I then suddently with AR11.5 only Had H.
I had assumed this was because AR11.5 was based on a none LTE build, version 12 however did not solve this.
Does anyone have a solution as I have tried multiple radios I even had two HTC One's one rooted and one not prior to this and now the none rooted is the only one I have (rooted now of course).

I never see the H+ icon into the One...
And if you have the LTE activated, you will see LTE and not H+

[Q] Radio favours 2G...

My phone will not use 4G (HSPA+ or 3G) at my work indoors and favours 2G. My HTC Sensation could be made to use 3G by cycling the radio off/on - but this HTC One is not able to get any 3G plus. I assume this is not a ROM issue as it behaved exactly the same on the original US T-mobile ROM build. Just outside the building (and always at home) I get 4G (not LTE but T-mobile HSPA) speeds (slow here at around 4-6Mbps).
I know that settings can be changed to make the radio favour 3g/4G etc (even if a poor signal) but can anyone help here. I can sit the HTC One right next to the Sensation and the Sensation will show 3G with 1-2 bars and the One will show 4-5 bars with 2G! (and very poor data rates on the HTC One as you'd expect).
I am on a US T-Mobile model on 10.1 ROM with new radio (4A.16.3250.24_10.38.1150.03.zip) - VERY impressed.

Hey Mate,
I was also facing same kind of wiered issue, I am on Developer edition and In India and initially Was not not able to connect to any 2G network. I tried everything from Custom ROM to STOCK ROM, Radio, SIM card change, orperator change etc.... but mothing worked. I was only able to connect to 3G networks.
Today finally I S-OFF'ed my ONE and after that it's connecting to 2G and 3G both networks. I think there is something related with security.
Try to S-OFF !!

Thanks - but I can get 3G and 2G signals now. It is just that the phone seems to significantly favour the stronger 2G (more stable) connection even though a low signal strength 3G connection can be achieved (as shown on my Sensation). I do not want to try S-off just yet as that should really only allow the changing of H-boot and radio firmware etc. I have never read anything that indicates that S-Off can improve a given (un-changed) radio. It is this method I want to try first - I am already on the .24 radio but that made no changes.
I do know that it is possible to access a hidden (HTC Engineer?) radio menu by typing a series of numbers and hash (#) symbols into the phone dialler - that reveals a menu in which (I believe) you can change the priority of network selection.
It could, of course, just be that the HTC sensation radio hardware is better than the HTC One - I hope not.
Regards

Htc One Lte Issues

I've switched roms a few times on my HTC One and lately my phone has been unable to switch from HSPA+ to LTE in areas there i receive LTE. I have tried both Sense based roms and Google Edition roms to no affect, the LTE functionality still exist however since iv been able to set it to LTE only from the *#*#4636*#*# menu and get a LTE signal on the phone but when set to LTE/GSM it will only stick to a HSPA connection. Anyone have anything similar happen or knows of a way to fix this?

[Q] 4G Not Working at All

Has anyone had an issue or have any clue why my Droid 4 completely stopped accesing the 4G network? I haven't downloaded anything recently and it's been doing it for about a week. 3G connects fine everywhere but it's like the phone doesn't even have 4G capability anymore. I've been in over 5 different cities with 4G and where I previously got 4G service and again it will only look for 3G. It's the latest Android O.S. completely updated and on the Verizon Network. The phone was rooted.
After troubleshooting with Verizon's folks they replaced my sim card and then did a hard reset of my phone both to no avail. Still connects 3G everywhere fine but no 4G anywhere.
This is driving me crazy because there's seemingly no explanation for why this happened. Is it feasible that its ability to get 4G just stopped for no reason?
Any comments / suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I've had this phone for over a year and a half and I love it...:crying:
Perhaps you changed the network mode to only GSM?

[Q] Verizon LTE / 3g handoff issues

So here's the deal, I have scoured the intarwebs and can't seem that find a solution to my problem, so as such I will toss my problems before you.
I have a Verizon Nexus 6 stock ROM, bootloader unlocked and rooted, TWRP with the current Franco Kernel. No other mods. So here's the issue, I can get LTE, but when the phone hands over to 3g service I get stuck there. The phone remains in 3g until I am forced to go to the cellular network menu and choose lte/gsm/umts so that it ignores CDMA. Once it finds lte again (almost instantly) I can return to global or even the lte/CDMA and have no issues until LTE drops and I have to do it again. I have even gone and got a new SIM with no fix.
Any ideas on a solution

4G doesn't stay, always return to H+

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Oneplus 3T and it's a really good phone, but i'm facing an issue : 4G only appears a few time (with almost full bars) but it's just coming back to H+ every time, i mean every time.
Usually i have 4G in that place, even with my old ****y Samsung Xcover 3 and its the same with another phone operator sim card.
What do you recommend for me ?
Thank you very much
Details :
French version
Up-to-date (Android 8.0.0)
Phone operator : Sosh (tried B&YOU)
Fix
*#*#4636#*#* use the diagnostic under phone information and move it to 4g/lte only
I've seen this solution but it's not a real one, no ?
If I put LTE Only, i will not have 3G/H/H+ and stuff if there is no 4G around me, right ?
Perhaps your ISP radio tower is far away, doesnt mean its phones fault
I had some issues with sim. I've to get new sim and 4g service reactivated
Well, as i said before, i was able to have 4G even with my old Xcover3 in that place, so it's not the network provider's fault.
4G is working on my Oneplus 3T, it's just that it's most of the time, like MOST, on H+ and not 4G even if I had 4G in thèses places before...
It looks like he phone auto balance between 4G & 3G as soon as 4G is a little bit weak (even weak, it's still beter than 3G anyway...) and I noticed that sometimes the data are just turned down (nothing DL, charge, but H+ still on status bar).
Im on Oreo stock OOS, do you know if there is any issues on this new version ?
