[Q] Stock HTC email or Touchdown for Exchnage? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

All,
I'm about to get my HTC ONE Dev Edition in a couple of days...and thinking about what email app I should use for my work Exchange emails. I've used Touchdown in the past and its ok, UI is kinda old and only reason I stuck with it is that it allows for me to view emails in "ALL Folders".
How is your experience with the HTC stock email app for Exchange? Does it allow for me to view all emails in all folders? How does it compare to Touchdown?
Thanks!

Exhcange Email Appliation

Hi
I've just moved from an iPhone to a HTC Hero (Branded G2 by t-mobile).
One thing that it's really missing is a decent email application.
The iPhone allowed me to set up push email for not only my inbox, but also other folders. It then presented me with a list me my folders (in order) and how many unread email were in each.
The G2, only seems to do push email with the inbox, the folders are not in any kind of order, and I cant see without going in to each foder l how many unread emails are in it.
In short the email application is utterly rubbish. Can anyone suggest an email aplications that will work on the Hero.
Thanks.
may be you can use Touchdown.. I was using TD on my old G1 and it was working really nice.. The thing it shows the folder tree in a menu.. not in the main screen. It has two versions cupcake and non-cupcake.. I'm waiting my new HTC Hero and I'll install TD to this also

Touchdown and Roadsync are both good.

What are people usings for their exchange mail client

I was wondering what people are using on their Nexus for a email client for Exchange.
I have tried Touchdown and it just seems to slow
Roadsync doesn't support html on exchange 2003
Moxier mail seems a good package and on the face it seems to support html on exchange 2003 but it doesn't have a trail and isn't cheap.
Any suggestions (must support html on exchange 2003)

In my eyes the most glaring is no "peak times", a schedule of when to sync and when not to

I have to say, I really like this feature in the HTC Sense email. Just wish it had a universal inbox like stock.

No inline forwarding, messages are sent as .eml files, which Android can't read.
No folder syncing, as well as the ability to move messages to specific Outlook folders.
Signatures only on initial messages.
does HTC Sense email have HTML supprot for exchange 2003?
Stock email can't search... huge issue for me.
I like Touchdown. I have not had any speed issues with it. I am running Exchange 2010.
Seems like Touchdown has had a recent upgrade, a lot better than what it was a few months ago.

[Q] Email fix or alternate?

I use the supplied email handler in my ATT Captivate and seeing some issues recently. Any emails with any attachments will just sit loading forever and never truly display me the attached file. its doing this for both my hotmail and gmail accounts. Anyone know of an issue/fix or have another email handler to suggest that might be a lot friendlier to use then the stock one?
I too was disappointed with the stock email client. Take a look @ K-9 Mail in the market it's free
Sweet, downloading now
K9 is the ****. Used it from day 1 of owning my phone

Gmail or Native Email App

Hi Folks,
I've come from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a new shiny HTC One which was delivered a couple of hours ago. Just getting set up and was wondering whats your preference for email setup. With my company using Google Apps i've always just gone ahead and used Gmail but was wondering if the 'Mail' app was any better?
Regards
Sam
They are both really good, I guess if you have multiple email accounts the mail app is better than the dedicated gmail one because you could easily switch between accounts

I use the Mail app because I have 4 email accounts so easier to manage, I would still use this app if I only had one gmail account tbh, its much cleaner looking.
Gmail definitely. Don't like the native app.
Probably no help but I have been using both the HTC native mail app as well as the Gmail app. Personally I like the look and feel of the native app but I think I have been just to used to running my email accounts on separate apps, hasn't hurt me yet.

Hi All....i had a similar question. I am having a difficult time with the native email app that it wont scale my e-mails to fit the screen. Can someone please help me with this. The gmail app does it automaticaly....but i cant get the HTC one native app to do the same.

Native e-mail App

Hi all im running stock and lovin the native e-mail app but I noticed that you do not have the ability to flag/star an e-mail in your yahoo inbox.
Can some one confirm this as well I could swear at one point I did have that ability.
Thanks
