There is a listing of the One variants and model numbers here here ..... the model you're looking for will be the UL variant model code 801n
Follow this thread and you can change your model id (MID) to the international version and then install the RUU 1.28.401.7 (http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...13323127-1031113105-release-310878-signedexe/) and then receive the updates via OTA to the latest 2.24.401.1 first CID HTC__001 then change to HTC__Y13 for the last one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42542680
To know your model ID bout in to bootloader and fastboot then connect USB to your PC and run command:
fastboot getvar all
This will give you your CID, MID and main-version numbers. Don't post your iemi or serial numbers

Would that work to change my CID From Optus_001 (stock CID) and super CID it and would that allow sprint roms to work on my phone? its an m7_ul
Wanting to know because there is a sprint MIUI rom from an actual miui dev I want to try and see if It works. Since all CM roms wont work on my device without getting sleep of death.
To install custom rooms you only need to HTCdev unlock, make a stock backup of your existing Rom, install a custom recovery and then flash the custom Rom.
Read this first post carefully a few times then decide if you want to do it:

[Q] meid: 00000000000000

After S-OFF on 1.54, I just checked "fastboot getvar all" and found meid as all 0. Is it ok??. Althought I don;t remember my meid from stock, but i do have backup of both 4.1.2 and 4.2. Will it help? Thanks for any help.

I think meid is only for CDMA phones (eg SPRINT, VERIZON), for GSM phones I think it's all zeros. shouldn't be a problem.

Well the the only "fastboot getvar all" that show a non-zero meid were Sprint and Verizon. the two GSM (one M7_U and one M7_UL) both show zeros in the meid (before and after unlocking/rooting/etc).
Also don't confuse the MEID and the MID which stands for Model ID and all Ones have a MID.

[Q] How to find out what carrier this phone is?

i got the phone stuck on TWRP so i downloaded the telus ruu and installed it fine, then i noticed there was a rogers one too. is there anyway to tell what carrier this phone is for? i have no sim cards to test it out besides a fido one. its the 801e UL variant. someone must be able to help me i have searched everywhere for answers.
In fastboot: fastboot getvar all
This will display your CID

ya but what if the cid was changed to 1111111111 to get s-off?
I don't think it is possible to find out what your original CID was. Where did you buy the phone?

that's SuperCID, keep it as is and download CIDGetter from Play Store, when it sees SuperCID it will pull CID from a secondary location, hopefully that wasn't changed and it will show your original CID.

The unbranded HTC One is the UK is the general World Wide English (WWE). There is no way u can check on the box. If the seller is willing 2 let ur use the device,
then open fastboot nd type "fastboot getvar all"
(bootloader) version main- x.xx.401.x
(bootoader) product- m7_ul
(bootloader) modelid- PN0710000
(bootloader) cidnum- HTC__001
These shud be the main identifiers. Rest all data in the getvar all doesn't really determine the region

Undoing a Full GPE conversion

I did the full rom conversion to my Dev HTC on. But now i need to undo it since its a work phone so i can do some testing on it. I am trying to find a guide but all i am find is how to do it. Anyone have a guide or tios on how to go back to stock? Can i just do a RUU restore or will the sOff and new CID mess it up?
Thanks

post a "fastboot getvar all" (excluding IMEI and s/n) and what your original MID and CID were.

Then is should be:
MID = PN0712000
CID = BS_US001
if you need to 101% sure, you could pull the mfg partition and check.
Thanks!
