After S-OFF on 1.54, I just checked "fastboot getvar all" and found meid as all 0. Is it ok??. Althought I don;t remember my meid from stock, but i do have backup of both 4.1.2 and 4.2. Will it help? Thanks for any help.

I think meid is only for CDMA phones (eg SPRINT, VERIZON), for GSM phones I think it's all zeros. shouldn't be a problem.

Well the the only "fastboot getvar all" that show a non-zero meid were Sprint and Verizon. the two GSM (one M7_U and one M7_UL) both show zeros in the meid (before and after unlocking/rooting/etc).
Also don't confuse the MEID and the MID which stands for Model ID and all Ones have a MID.

This command really change IMEI?
Sent from my HTC One
I have no idea what model it is, I have no forms in the box, so how can I tell if it supports LTE? I mean, actually check it out, not read about it.
Thanks.

Reboot to fastboot and then from pc "fastboot getvar all" from command prompt in pc adb folder.
You're looking for product from the list returned..... if it's an m7_UL then it's LTE or if it's m7_U then it's not.

The unbranded HTC One is the UK is the general World Wide English (WWE). There is no way u can check on the box. If the seller is willing 2 let ur use the device,
then open fastboot nd type "fastboot getvar all"
(bootloader) version main- x.xx.401.x
(bootoader) product- m7_ul
(bootloader) modelid- PN0710000
(bootloader) cidnum- HTC__001
These shud be the main identifiers. Rest all data in the getvar all doesn't really determine the region

If you don't have fastboot like suggested above, you can also found IMEI and S/N in Settings/About/Phone Identity/
Or on the back of the box there is your IMEI, S/N, P/N and also MID (listed as FCC ID)
i.e. mine says FCC ID:NM8PN07110 so my MID is PN0711000 (add two 0)
see the attached pic.
This I know, but how do I change it? How to partition the data in the phone?

I did the full rom conversion to my Dev HTC on. But now i need to undo it since its a work phone so i can do some testing on it. I am trying to find a guide but all i am find is how to do it. Anyone have a guide or tios on how to go back to stock? Can i just do a RUU restore or will the sOff and new CID mess it up?
Thanks

Then is should be:
MID = PN0712000
CID = BS_US001
if you need to 101% sure, you could pull the mfg partition and check.
Thanks!
