Hi
I recently downloaded 2.12.29 Official MIUI ROM from http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/2-12-28-29.19143/
However, after flashing, when I reboot the phone, the phone stucks at HTC white screen for a couple of minutes and then reboots into recovery..
The only strange stdout I see during installation is :
>> format system
>> do not formate system
Has anyone come across such issues.. are there any known workarounds..
Help appreciated..
EDIT: I follow the following steps for flashing:
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe cache
3. Wipe dalvik cache
4. format system
5. install ROM
6. wipe cache
7. wipe dalvik cache
8. flash boot.img
>> 6,7 because I read on one of the MIUI forums that if the ROM is flashed on a phone already running an MIUI then these steps are required..
Looks like issue is resolved after following the documentation at: http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/how-to-update-upgrade-miui.15424/
took some time but finally found it on a polish forum just though i would share
if you get /data error wipe dalvik cache and fix permission
flash revcovery using AIO toolkit by LeoPosas
be sure to rename this file as recovery before you do so

Please help me with maxicm lollypop update i have 4.12 indian version in my phone rooted i tried installing MaxiCm using CWM but failed several times please help i follow these steps :
Download ROM, Gapps and SU
Put the files on SDCard
Reboot in recovery CWM
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced->Wipe dalvik cache
Install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1
Choose "MaxiCM-5.1-XXXXXXXX-janice.zip"
Choose yes
Repeat procedure to Gapps and SU
Reboot system now

download modded cyanogenmod 11 (for this device) then flash it and boot it..after that flash the maxicm...i tried that n it's working

So far I've had some issues:
Wi-Fi won't turn on, although AP works fine.
Nothing happens when plugging a headset, no sound comes from it, it's not even detected.

have exactly same problem
No WI-FI issuses on my ZE552KL but nothing happens when plugging a headset, , it's not even detected either.

edited : headphone problem still persist. it still can't detect my headphone. please fix this

Hi, I've the bootloader unlocked but I prefer to don't install twrp, can I flash this rom by "install update from sdcard" or by adb on the original unlocked bootloader?

thank you so much for the hardwork. rom working fine now. wifi and headphone working on ZE520KL. but there is new update in official nougat. looking forward for the update based on new update
