Doctorz rom v16....

jw5 stock odexed, semaphore 2.7.4 kernel to boost smoothness and speed a bit, tasker to automate a few things here and there, and juice defender ultimate which gives amazing battery life in standby, easily halving the usual draining.
honest, I think you can customize your stock rom by yourself based on your needs and be more than statisfied

Thanx alot dude.
Does it have RTL add-on ? Cuz this very important to me.
And btw, did u try the Hybrid v14 Rom ? It is really awesome. But sometimes i have some problems in it, and i dont know if the problem is from it or from the apps that i use. I sometimes have Sleep of Death( i sometimes try to turn the screen on but it doesn't) and i face lags when playing games like angrybird Space, anf Cut the Rope.....

I'm going to test Slim Bean and CyanAOSP...
Add SuperNexus 2 JB Rom, you won't regret it.

Aways Xylon ROM has great performance and customizability. Its well worth a look but unfortunately aways has discontinued ROM development.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
C-Rom Mix by Aways is great take a look!
I had a lot of Problems with other Roms but this one got me hooked. Great Atutu benchmarks etc.
Im running helly bean and I can say it's the fastest rom I ever flashed, it's smooooth as hell
also I o.c my phone to 1320 mhz with 408 mb of ram, it's stable and running games without lagging . you should try it
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
If you want a ROM that run Games smooth, i recommand you to take a look at the "CyanAOSP".
I already tested some roms and i really like CyanAOSP, soo smooth and verry good for Gaming.
Tested on: Asphalt 7 , Real Fotbal 2013, Gangstar City, Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Asphalt 6, Earn to Die, Drag Racing, Need For Speed HP, Fifa 12 , Sky Safari and many others, No lag. and get 4400+ on Antutu.
All jb ROMs are smooth;specifically AWAYS ROMs.

Make it fast

just import a lamborghini v10 engine and pour some shell motor oil.
make sure u to keep ur pistons clean and time to time check coolant levels.
also make sure the tyres have sufficient air in them bcoz when u run at high speeds it helps to keep balance..and improve ride experience..
in the end if u want full experience dont use ics on mini ...buy a better phone

CM9 was pretty much as fast as it could be on Mini, there is really nothing major that can be improved. For me, when I was using CM9 on Mini, it was way faster than any other 2.3 ROM, tough the lack of RAM made it very buggy when, for example, browsing Play Store and downloading multiple apps while reading e-mail etc.

Yeah I know but on cm10.1 armv6team changed to a new ram management which consome very less ram (on cm10.1 for galaxy mini I got ~100MB free with 20 or 19 apps installed. But I think it has to do with triple frambuffer too since androidarmv6 team disabled on cm10.1
Anyway erikcas is just working on cm9 to fix some things that are remaining for example: YouTube Reboots, Video Recording, WPA 2 Encryption (very easy to fix)
But Cm9 is still more smooth just sometimes phone freeze (maybe ram consumption? Or triple framebuffer? Or anything that I don't know ) and I hope he fix it
Will be very thankfully

no tripple buffer in ics

You cannot reduce RAM amount the device is using... Just think. If app uses 10MB RAM it will use it like no matter what. Of course it's possible to prevent memory leaks and stuff like that, but the change is not very big. Also, I know he will fix the bugs that were still present when I left, but I was talking about the speed.

i agree w/ him. Dmod's really fast and stable, everything is functional.
DMod V5 Rocks!
+1 for DMod V5 Rom for S3 Mini... So smooth, fast and stable...
In what way is it better than enox? Which I am currently using.. I like the stability, the battery consumption etc. I don't use software that demands high cpu or gpu.
i use dmod v5 .very smooth, low battery consumption and super stable. i'll go with it,even i didn't ever had enox's rom ,so my opinion isn't based on any kind of comparison...
I tried them all, including cm and went back to stock. Tweaked, rooted and moded like I want

sure, someone might respond about it, but it may be of different view in about a months time or later, as the builds become more stable or problems are unsolvable.

I`m using latest UNOFFICIAL Version CM11 from pawitp and so far i can tell you that i had no ROM which was smoother and faster than KK (CM11) ...i hope this great performance will be kept when it gets the nightly/stable-version :good:
The battery consumption so far is much better ...

i have used 4.4 CM 11 ROM, didn't play any games yet, but it is quite smooth, pawitp has done a great job; for now there are display issues, but maybe in a week or so it will get stable enough.. much more free RAM also.
CM11 is great, but i think it is too early to say that you can play games ... i don`t know and actually there are some graphical bugs in it ...maybe give time and try by yourself ...taking a backup before flashing CM 11 :good:

Kitkat is amazing, and not even just considering it's alpha. Much faster than any jellybean ROM I've used, and I'm certain that the battery usage is also better. Well impressed with it, and it's still very early stages of dev.
