what i can do now ?? what the Solution of that

any one can help me here :crying:

Best option is to ask in the revone topic...
It's late over here, but I will try to help you tomorrow.

That isn't a bad message, just an unexpected one, segmentation errors occur when trying to address a non-existent memory space. Check you're on hboot 1.44, have an unlocked bootloader (edit: apparently unnecessary) and simply repeat the process until it works. Revone is an exploit and still in the relatively early stages of its development so naturally there will be the occasional error.

Please note that an unlocked boatloader is not necessary for revone.

Make sure HTC Sync Manager isn`t running and uncheck fastboot and close in settings/energy (bottom item).

If your bootloader is 1.54.000 you will not be abe to gain S-off, all is explained in Revone thread.

1.54.000 will give you the -6 error at the end.

Hi guys
I think Ive messed up my phone pretty bad.
It loads up fine everything works, but camera and wifi just refuse to function.
it boots into bootloader and either CWMR or TWRP
BUT I canot drag n drop any files from pc to storage, or download anything from phone to it's internal storage.
When connected to PC i can see /storage/emulated/legacy.
Im on software 1.29.401.12
As far as I'm aware, there isn't a RUU available yet.
Ive tried using rev one/moonshine to get s off and change cid but no luck.
Please help me get this back to a 100% working state.
Thanks.

Do you have fastboot (at the bottom) in settings/energy disabled?
Is HTC Sync Manager running?
Sometimes you have to try it multiple times to get S-Off to work.

If you have Hboot 1.44.000 and follow the revone instructions there shouldn`t be a problem bro. Did you open a second cmd window after ./revone -P and rebooted the phone.

[Q] How do i get busybox on the stock rom ?

i kinda already got setup, unlocked, and everything on the stock rom, since this phone (and other htc phones) is/are "system locked" how do i get busybox on this? i figured they would stick through recovery but i cant seem to find a flashable busybox xbin/bin, and i know there USED to be a way to bypass the system lock but it used to cause kernel panics, what do i do ?
ive tried using moonshine but as i posted in that thread it just freezes after Test 2 at ERROR: ADB failure
You need to have S-OFF to install busybox via the actual app or you can just manually flash it via recovery.

Moonshine is the only way, just do it lol it's extremely easy. I've ruu'd my first countless times already and turned s-off many times too no problems.
Here's the thread I used to flash busybox before I turned my s-off though.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44175626
First I downloaded busybox from the playstore then I flashed it.

I used something called RUMRUNNER , I believe the url is something like rumrunner.us , anyways it uses similar commands as moonshine and similar website , but anyways since moonshine didn't work they recommended rumrunner on the irc and it worked perfect , the only thing though is that it caused a soft-brick which the only solution is to Relock the bootloader , which is fine because even with a lock boot loader you should still be able to flash roms and I think flash recoveries (I don't know just pick a custom recovery that you like just in case you can't later) and yeah that was it.
Oh another thing, if for some unknown reason you DONT wanna relock the boot loader (which keeps S-off after locking) then none of the roms based off stock will work, only the sense ports worked while unlocked and s-off for me.
But yeah this may not happen to everyone, just sharing my solution to a boot loop / soft brick if it happens to anyone who reads this as well.

[Q] Am i correct in my assumption[SOLVED]

I rooted my fone, unlocked boot loader, installed TWRP recovery.
I can flash custom Roms now correct?
I just snagged CM 10.1.3 RC2, I don't need to be S-off correct??
Thanks in advance....

If you are asking about using terminal emulator to issue the commands like revone I'm not sure if that would work or not.
Just found some directions, it said DO NOT USE TERMINAL EMULATOR!!!!! (number 5 in the Prerequisites)
Followed directions like a good boy, now S-off, thank you for your help sir.........

[Q] HTC J One S-OFF with Rumrunner

Hi there, sorry for my first post being so needy...
I am trying to root my HTC J One and it seems that I first need to S-OFF the device. I'm trying to use Rumrunner as my bootloader is at 1.54 unfortunately...but I get the error "looks like device is not rooted AND lacks an unsecure kernel. su or FU!!"
I'm using the HTC Universal version of rumrunner as there doesn't seem to be a device specific version for the HTC J One.
I've uninstalled HTC Sync Manager and uninstalled my virus scanning software and turned off my firewall. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go next? Thank you for your help!

Firstly, only the Verizon HTC One needs to be S-OFF'ed prior to root. All other models need to be bootloader unlocked and rooted to get S-OFF.

It seems as mentioned here that Revone / Rumrunner are needed to unlock the bootloader, but neither seem to be working (revone doesn't work as my bootloader is version 1.54, I did try it anyway though...and rumrunner gives me the error mentioned above...
Or is all of this unnecessary to root it? I kind of hope it is!
I'm sorry to bump...does anyone have any suggestions?

Will not work. You must wait to appear another exploit or the devs to add support to the new s-off SunShine for the M7.
