Good morning friends!
I'm going to go to this firmware! But there is one thing!
The problem! I had the i9001 I killed him.
Bought a broken i9000 - works fine, but broken touch.
Moved to the board with i9000 and i9001 phone launched.
Tel. loaded, but do not run the bottom two touch keys "menu" and "back."
Again removed the broken touch on. Working there.
Who can help with advice?

Dear experts,
I have HTC tytn ii which i bought from Singapore (in 2008) when I was working there. Now I have shifted back to India and there are some issues with my phone and local HTC support people said they cannot help since the handset is bought from singapore. I wont be going back to Singapore and their support hotline is also down, infact Singapore dont have one. Did a lot of search on net and came across this forum. I hope to receive some guidance from all the tech experts.
I did see FAQ and sticky threads but its too techy and dont wanna take any wrong step. Following is the list of problems:
1. I cannot receive/disconnect calls using the front buttons (green & red). Infact except the center button none of them is working.
2. The roller key on left side top - push function is operational but the roller function is not working.
3. Query key board - None of the keys are working cannot type. When i push the soft reset button (right side top button which we use for standby) then caps light on query keyboard turn on and when i slide the keyboard in I can see Fn button light on.
I have reset the phone using clear storage but the problem still persists.
I would be very thankfull if anyone can guide me through. I am not sure whether its a hardware problem or some drivers problem.

where are the experts?????????? kindly help
It seems to me that the ribbon cable inside the phone is not inserted completely or is broken. If you take the phone apart you might be able to reseat the cable and see if that helps.
Hello,
My home key wasn't working because the cable was broken. I've purchased a new part from OEM atleast that's what says the site from which I bought it. I bought the whole module with vibrating motor and fixed the home button issue. However now the touch keys are not working. I've tryed with new stock firmware JVS and JVT, also tryed with SGS Tools (hard reset). Still the keys don't even light up. I've done a lot of research before this post but cant find a solution. The phone still has guarantee but I dont think they will accept it .... Thank you all in advance !
I'm sorry if there are some spelling errors, but I really need help.

Hi
I think i may have got some water damage on my phone. My home button has stopped working but the other two at either side of it are still fine. The thing is i can still use it to get into recovery.download mode. Has anyone had this problem? Is there anything i can do?
I have been reading about a softkey that can be used if home button dead. Is that a program or part of a rom?
Thanks in advance
James
Slim Bean rom has soft keys, such as Home, available.
Hello, xda!
Device's touchscreen was broken, but fully working. Place an order and i got a new and original touchscreen. Assembled the parts and i found that the touch wasn't responsive. I returned the touchscreen to gsm shop and they sent me back 2x touchscreens. Checked, the same problem. Yesterday, after assembled parts again, accidentally i touched all bottom area, phone vibrated and i found that the touch is working ONLY if i keep pressed (gently, not hard) both soft keys (menu and back). How can i solve this without keep them pressed? I tried to update TSP firmware, *#*#2663#*#* , but "Update complete: 0".
Hi
I wonder if anybody can help. Friend's I9000 got broken screen. We bought another one with menu and return key not working and replaced the board inside. Now he's got his for working again. However the two keys still don't work. I;ve tried touch firmware update by doing #*#*2663*#*#. This just goes forever and never finishes. The keys do light up and go off when you touch them . However, the functionality is missing.
Thanks
Button Saviour or LMK work well.
