Updated new walkman app and all worked fine until I powered off the phone. It now crashes everytime. I have installed it again but same thing happens everytime the phone reboots.
Any suggestions?

Uninstall the update. If your phone is on 10.3.1.A.0.244, then the Walkman that comes preinstalled has a higher version number than the one that you manually installed in any case.

Really? Why? 244 is superior to 423 in every way. You really should update as soon as possible.
In any case, I assume you have tried wiping the cache and/or data of the Walkman app?

I want root and had a problem when I did something last time So staying away at the mo.
Will try that with the app

Then if clearing data/cache of the app doesn't work, try redownloading it.
If that doesn't work, uninstall the update and leave it. An older, working version is better than a new version that force closes all the time.
BTW, rooting 244 is actually very simple if you read and understand the instructions first, but each to their own.

I downloaded it again and it works.
Only problem I have is that I cant authorize my sony unlimited music account. Doesn't seem to combine my sony unlimited app with it.
Will look into updating and rooting later.

Finally able to remove apps from all apps list (hint: long press app to select more).
just install over current market, if you run into problems replace with file explorer and reboot.

Hi,
I have a LT30a (from AT&T) that I flashed LT30p firmware exclude baseband. When I tried to use the camera, I constantly experience freeze and if I close the camera app and tried to reopen, it will say "camera not available". Then, I have to reboot the phone for the camera to work again. Has anyone have a similar problem and found a solution?

I had your problem too. I resolved it flashing last fw (7.0.A.3.223).

Hey guys just got my xperia z today and i was an ex note 2 user and i usually always use to backup efs before flashing anything so i want to flash 4.3 official stock on my c6602 should i be afraid on losing efs/imei or this is only a samsung issue? Thx in advance

No, just flash.
If you want once a custom ROM/Kernel it would be good that you make a backup of your TA before unlocking bootloader.
Edit: if you want root, there is a stock based custom ROM with root and recovery(for 4.3).

I noticed that also. A normal thread name is really not like that. A thread name says in some short words the problem. Example: bricked phone says much more then only i have a problem. That is the sense of a thread name

Update is 2.4 mb in size. Downloads normally, reboot to install and then i get this in statusbar.

I saw the same thing after installing 4.3 Vodafone DE FTF today. I am on a Bell LT30a. I downloaded it, and told it to install. It rebooted, and looked like it was installing, but after it rebooted, I have a hard notification in my top bar telling me that the update failed. Oh well. I just want to root this thing and get my apps back

Have you tried to factory reset and try without any app installed ?
If you are on stock ROM it might be due to ram problem but you must give us more information otherwise we can't help you.
