Samsung? LG?

Agreed. But if they did....I would like to give LG a spin I think.
D

Never had much loyalty to any brand. Whatever is the best, or one of the best phones in two years will be my upgrade.
I know it won't be a Samsung though. Unless they do a 180 in regards to phone build quality.

not lg if i could id get a sony phone they have very good support for devs, but then again the note series is awesome...

I would probably go nexus and GSM carrier
I would also hold onto to my one until it stops working
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

I think I'll be going to nexus and gsm as well. I hope an android phone comes out with 41mp camera . I'd be all over that
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4

Sony Xperia Ultra or LG G2 most likely. I''ll definitely be switching to T-Mobile in the near future.

I'd probably try out Sony or Lg

Tmo for me too

T-Mobile and Nexus probably, although I wouldn't mind holding onto my One to use it as a voice/text (+bad 3G) phone.

hmm, maybe Moto once Google does their thing....

Wouldn't matter, my purchase is not dictated by brand.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

How about making a ONE Max 10" tablet first

Lol cuz never going to happen.
But if they sold out, then my next phone will certainly be an HTC One Max

Nexus or moto or Oppo. Samsung's phones have gotten so flimsy looking and feeling.
Sony's phones are laggy as hell. I've never really trusted LG, but I have no reason for that, so that would be my fourth choice.

Nexus or Moto as well for me. Might go that way even if HTC doesn't sell out.
Sent from my One using Tapatalk 4

Nexus, moto, sony, oppo. LG seems like too much of an also-ran to me- maybe the G2 will change that, though . And Samsung is just... Just no.
No OEM loyalty, though.

Nexus 4 replacement dropped...kinda

OK so I got two nexus 4's and I just moved to T-Mobile and honestly I need two more phones and it kinda doesn't make sense to buy any used phone with the nexus price so low.
So if I was to get a replacement and hypothetically dropped it and wanted to keep my phone could Google just charge me for it and I get to keep it. It kinda the same as buying it right.

I'm going to hypothetically close this thread.

Are you still planning to get your nexus 4?!And what you like the most?

Hey so I am getting the nexus 4 next week.....so I wanted to know if the nexus 4 is still hot stuff!so how many of you are actually planning to but it now period?and what attracts you toward the n4?
My likes:nexus device direct updates, android 4.2,glass back, processor, ram, screen and onscreen nav bar
Sent from my soon coming Nexus 4!
The latest nexus is always a good choice because you get support from Google for a good while and they're easy to resell.
I've had mine for a few months now and when you compare the cost to hardware/software combo of the N4 to any other phone, the N4 wins hands down.
Sure if your budget was unlimited I'd probably go INA different direction (HTC One).
The good thing about the Nexus line is that they hold their value. If you chose to buy a used one now, you can probably sell it when the N5 comes out and not take a significant lose.
My only gripe with the N4 is the camera. My wife's S3 takes better pictures, otherwise its an awesome phone. What device will you be coming from?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I go through Android phones like you wouldn't believe, I've had over 10 in the past 3 years. The Nexus 4 is the best I've ever used and the phone I've stuck with longest. I got one at release and sold it a couple of months ago to try an Xperia Z, sold the XZ after a few weeks and went back to the N4, it's that good.
Ive also had way to many Android handset's over the past 2 years, and even an Iphone 5.
I also had an N4 on release day too and sold that for the iphone.
Sold the iphone to go back to the Nexus 4.:good:
Its by far the best and purest Android phone I have ever used.
I love it so much, I now have a Nexus S as my work phone and a Nexus 10 tablet.
chill................

LG Nexus 5 is a comin

OK so looks like LG and Google are at it again. I don't even care at this point, either a Moto nexus for probably more money or LG at same price point. Most likely it is LG at this point and we lose the snap 800 in g2 but get the rest.

I'm cool with LG getting the Nexus again as long as they keep the 5.2 1080p screen.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
This is just a made up report based on zero facts. Just like the Moto Nexus rumor. Until there is some real insider information, I wouldn't pay any attention to these rumors.
The thing about a "rumor" is anyone can say whatever they want and claim no responsibility if they are wrong. Being there are about 5 different "next" nexus rumors in this forum, most of these are just brain children of their authors.
Personally, I take everything with a spoonful of salt until Google announces the device.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
Sounds familiar...
The G2 is to big
I like how much space is covered by the screen, but the overall size of the phone is to huge in my opinion. Maybe better a 5" screen?
Everything else sounds great for the same price of the N4. But 32GB would be nice.
Buttons on the side are a must. Those back Button are strange.
Isn't there a thread already talking about LG and the rumors about the Nexus 5? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2396728

The Atrix was released about 2 months after the Optimus 2X. I actually had an O2X, worst phone I ever had. ****ty software support as well, took LG well over a year to release ICS, and even then, it was buggy as sh*t etc. Hardware was decent though
I'd rather have Motorola get a chance to build a Nexus phone with the Moto X design.

IMO Moto X design and size is great, but unfortunately everything else is dissapointment. I would like to see next Nexus will have similar design to Moto X, but better CPU (Snapdragon 600 or 800), and better body materials (Kevlar instead on Moto X's plastic).
Please discuss further in the existing Nexus 5 thread

Anyone come from moto x?

Been considering this after all the positive hype this phone is getting however I'm very iffy on the size. I had the note 2 for a while and even though I got used to it, it was certainly still big. Just wondering if it's worth its price off contact over the resale value of my moto x on swappa ($500ish)
Thanks in advanced

Im thinking about revisiting the Note 3 again, getting tired of the 3-3.5hrs screen time of the moto x and the Nexus 5 I dont believe will be much better due to it's small battery. Still feel the same about the decision over the moto x?

the size of the note is the only thing that kills me. Its great when i take advantage of it, but its a beats to lug around when im on the move. Will take more than two days to decide if the size is good for me.
