I'm s-off/supercid on a TMOUS One, and running the latest sense Insertcoin with latest international firmware that came with it.
TMOUS released new firmware/radio that apparently gives an LTE performance boost. I flashed just the radio, but haven't seen much improvement, while my girlfriend took the OTA and gets a few more MBPS than I do in the same location.
Since I'm already on a 'higher' firmware / android version, can I even flash a 'lower' firmware? If so, do I have to stop using Insertcoin since it's 4.2.2 and the TMOUS RUU is 4.1.2?

I have the T-Mobile US edition of HTC One. Currently I have firmware 3.09.401.1 installed on my device. I know that is a WWE firmware and it compatible with the T-Mobile model. I was wondering would I be able to install the 3.22.1540.1 firmware, as it is for the Dev Edition. Would it be compatible with my device?
Thanks in advance for any information on this.
You need to be S-Off, it should work, but your firmware is already new enough. Do you have any specific problems?
I don't have any problems with the current one at all. Are there any improvements in the newer one?
I have the new version, had the 3.09.401.1. No changes except new hboot which has the developer edition warning on it when it boots up

Hi there,
I haven't received the Android 4.3/Sense 5.5 update yet, and have a few questions on how the update rollout works based on my phone's software version. The non-network ("original"/the version you get when you buy an unlocked phone) Android 4.2.2 version has software number 2.24.401.1, while my network provider's (EE's) version is 2.24.61.1. I had unlocked my phone from EE, and after factory reseting, my software number is still 2.24.61.1 (EE's version), which makes sense.
My questions:
- does my network software version have me 'registered' in some way to the network provider's release schedule of 4.3?
- would this then continue for all future versions (i.e., I get EE's version of 4.3/sense 5.5, which then has me 'registered' to only receive EE's future 4.4 update, etc?)
- are there any significant differences between the network-version Android or Sense, versus the non-network version?
is there a point to updating my firmware to the latest one always? im asking this because the latest 4.06 firmware seems to be for US phones rather than the international version. does that mean i should be sticking with the 3.62.401.1?

Hi!
I've got the international one and updated my firmware to 4.06 without issues. Always better if the firmware match the rom.

From my understanding, the new T-Mobile OTA to 4.4 should bring us a new version of hboot and radio.
According to a firmware flashing post in the main HTC One forum, wifi calling is baked into T-Mobile's radio.
Now that I want to go to a 4.4.2 custom ROM, I have two questions.
How do ViperOne and InsertCoin manage to incorporate Wifi calling if the functionality is baked into the radio? Or does this mean they have the new radio and I will get all the optimizations supposedly to come with a new version?
I understand that Hboot version 1.56 is coming with 4.4. I'm currently on 1.55. Does this have any implications on me updating? Should I wait for the OTA update then convert to a custom ROM since technically, if I do it right now, I'm on a different base?
I'm really confused since this is my first HTC phone. My old Sony never was this complicated.
If I said anything wrong could you please explain? Thanks!
Anyone?

I have installed InsertCoin 7.14(KitKat based) on my HTC One with bootloader 1.55 as my One hasn't received the update. No issues there. Sorry I have no idea regarding ur TMobile issue
I am running CM-11 Android 4.4.4 HTC One Verizon.
I have noticed that I never connect to LTE when using the default preferred network type of CDMA+LTE/EvDO, however if I change it to LTE I often can connect using LTE however then I cannot receive phone calls.
I have been looking for updated firmware for the radio however I have been unable to find them for 4.4.4. My baseband version is 1.13.41.0109_2. I have seen updates but they are all for 4.4.3. Can I use the firmware for 4.4.3 for Android 4.4.4? If not where can I find them?
Thanks,
Kirk
PS: this is my first time running a rooted custom rom so please bear with me.
