I didn't see the Minisuit Slim Case mentioned anywhere in this forum, so I thought I'd share. It's exactly what I wanted in a case for this tablet, hopefully it lives up to expectations! Ordered today, will share thoughts when it arrives.

This case definitely looks awesome. Will wait on the cheap case I bought to see how it is. If it doesn't suit me I'll def buy this one!
its exactly the same as every other rotating case for the N7 going by the shopped pictures (notice how the flap is magically narrower in the portrait pic?).
anyway, i've got one of the other cases with the exact same design. its a good case, quite sturdy and durable. lacks magnetic locking but it has that elastic thingo to hold it shut. its a two piece case - you can use it with the outer flap case if you're watching movies or needing a stand, or you can detach the inner from the outer for more portable use (ie. gaming, web browsing, etc.).
I tend to obsess over physical keyboards. I don't know why this is, since I almost never really need one. After much searching I have finally found a keyboard that actually looks nice, and works well. The Blackberry Mini Bluetooth Keyboard with Convertible Case is actually made for the Playbook. From Crackberry Forum's store it cost $120 + $5 for 2 day shipping. I have seen it for as low as ~$80 on ebay. The keyboard is actually only held on to the case via 4 elastic corner straps. It charges via microusb. The case is a nice fake leather job. It has a silicone style shell attached to the top half to hold the Playbook, and a small kick stand on the back. As you can see from my photo, the N7 fits in it with about a 1/2" to spare at the top. I intend to take a closer look at how the shell is attached to the leather case and remove it. I purchased one of those $10 TPU cases from Amazon, and while the N7 is a tad longer than the Playbook, with the lip on the case the N7 TPU case fits just right without overhang.
The keyboard itself is small, and the keys are arranged in a stacked grid instead of offset like most keyboards. While it took some getting use to, I am so far optimistic about it. The trackpad is ok once the pointer speed is set to a comfortable level. The trackpad allows for two finger scrolling, which is a plus. Overall I am pleased with the keyboard, though not with the price.
Good Info:good:
I purchased one of the "HQ Smart Flip" Nexus 7 cases recently, and after about a week of use I'm sharing my impressions >>>
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HQ-Smart-Fl...K_iPad_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item2577aef893
Fit & Finish: Everything is top notch fit and finish. Nexus snaps in securely with no play. Cutouts are absolutely perfect size and position with quality finish on all the edges. I purchased the blue case. Exterior is your standard pleather/ vinyl with nice cuts. I don't see any imperfections. Interior is your standard suede felt.
Functionality: This is a smart case, and it works as expected. Consistently on when opened and off when closed. I don't experience any accidental sleep when the cover is folded behind the Nexus. The cover tri-folds as expected for a stand. I don't have issues with it collapsing when using the stand. I have successfully used NFC with the case on.
Considerations: The front flap does not secure to the nexus. (I preferred this for the slimmest style smart cast) It lays on the front of the screen fine for putting in my laptop bag. Also, the stand is designed for landscape. I don't see this being functional for portrait viewing.
The case feels as sturdy as anything I would expect, however I question overall wear since it's made from pleather. I can envision cracking/ tearing from folding the front cover behind the nexus. I assume this is the same issue with any version of this style case.
The pictures in the listing are exactly as I received it. The represent the product as well as I could. Shipping was from China and just under 2 weeks to my door. Just under $20 shipped for me.
Bonus: Seller shipped the OTG adapter (works as expected and decent quality) as well as the Micro SD adapters.
I've been looking, but I can not find one like this on Amazon, eBay, or in the forums to save my life, but I have seen people using it, and the few I was able to ask all said it was a gift and they don't know where it came from.
Its a case, with a hard plastic case, that snaps on, AND has the leather foam screen flap that allows you to stand the tablet up however way you want. It also has the smart feature, and allows the buttons to be pressed without praying for finger nails. The few I can find are for the ipad or ipad mini, but I shall not mention such filth again!. I use my tablet with my PS3 Controller a lot now and want a good case that I can access the buttons easily on. (Plus any good games that work with the six axis would be a plus, just play a lot of Shadowgun for now lol)
I like this one, but the flap is so weak and flimsy, thin. http://www.nillkin.com/upload/editorfiles/2012.9.13_10.32.23_7945.jpg
Any help is highly appreciated!!!
That's actually one of the nicer ones of that made in China style. Someone here did a review of the same general style in real leather. Not sure of the cost but perhaps the cover would be more sturdy on that case. I know I tossed up a link to a pairing that I like. Its a cheap real leather wrap around case which has the drawback of no protection to the sides of the Nexus combined with being held onto the tablet with a sickly pad. But combine that with a cheap TPU case and for 12 or 13 bucks total for both you have a nice case. You just stick the TPU case to the leather cover instead of the Nexus and you're golden. Heya,
I just recently got my N10 - yesterday in fact - and before I take it out, I need to get a case. Leather ones seems to be the fad. I need one with a stand so I can display the N10 in my bedroom (hur hur). In future, I may also buy a bluetooth keyboard for it, but as of now, I don't see any use for one - I don't use the N10 for a load of typing.
Since there are a million different cases out there, which one is most popular and why? Thanks!
Remember, an awesome stand is required!
The moko slim case looks to be very popular, although with it's flaws such as the metal bezel thing scratching the glass, or no pogo cutout *don't know if this has been rectified on newer revisions)
The poetic slimline has some issues, and a lot of people have said they don't like it, but at the same time a lot of people myself included have found no issue with it whatsoever other than for making the power and volume buttons a little hard to use, something that the moko caters for, although something that can be easily remedied with a stanley knife or whatnot.
As to a bluetooth keyboard, unless you are typing long essays which it doesn't sound like you are, then i myself can use the onscreen keyboard two handed in much the same way i'd use a normal small bluetooth keyboard, that is to say in a cramped fashion, and type at a fairly good pace without much issue at all.

Thanks. I'll take a deep look at these two cases.
You're right. I'll give the N10 a few more weeks till I decide if I really need an external keyboard or not.
Till then, more suggestions are welcome!
Poetic Hardback (not the same as the slimline) here, love it, and dirt cheap

I originally purchased the i-Blason slim folio, which is nearly identical to the Moko in design. It's main weakness is a lack of a pogo cutout. It has a few other niggling issues (stylus loop right on top of the vol rocker, doesn't quite fold open flat to tablet back, came from factory with awful petrochemical smell) but otherwise has been great. The smell went away after a few days of airing out and it was perfectly fitted to the tablet with none of the issues I'd seen mentioned in the Poetic threads. The tablet is held securely in book mode, but the bottom is still easy to release for use in the stand configuration.
When I purchased a pogo charging cable, I decided to buy the Moko slim as it looked just like the i-Blason, was cheap ($9.99) and had a pogo cutout. It is about the same (cheaper feeling cover material) , but the closing clasp on the Moko is a bit of a deal breaker for me as it requires much more force to get it in place against the tablet top. So, I'm still using the i-Blason until I figure out a better plan. That plan may involve cutting a pogo port in the i-Blason if the Moko can't be coerced into a less difficult clasp arrangement with some pliers.

I just picked up the Moko case from Amazon and received it. Other than the latch at the top being a little stiff initially, it seems to be operating better now after a day of use, it's not anything that would scratch the unit though I don't think. I would recommend it as it has a tight and secure fit/feel to it overall. The pogo charger works with the case, the cutout is there now, if it was missing before it's not now. Worth $12.99 that's for sure.
I got the Fintie 360 rotating case and love it. Seems a couple people have had little issues but mine is flawless and I love it's versatility
I'm rocking the Poetic Durabook and I love it.

Looks good, but I can't find a video on it. I need to see it in action and need to read a review or something. Thanks for the link.

Poetic Revolution Case
Personally I bought the Poetic Revolution case. Its the closest thing to a otterbox- like case and it runs about 35 USD. has 2 stands built in, one for the picture frame view for landscape and and portrait and 2 for a low lying, upward facing stand. (almost like a keyboard). I think this is the only brand that i have seen that has built a durable case such as this. Otterbox and Gummdrop have yet to do it.
As a side note this case DOES NOT obscure the cameras, speakers or microphones.
Heres a link to amozon were I purchased it and recieved it internationally in less than 5 business days.
