i tried using flashtool and fastboot adb but they cant do anything because they say my phone is not rooted. but my phone is rooted

What are you trying to flash?
In this case when it says rooted it means bootloader unlocked.
You just need to flash a stock ftf file in flash tool or repair your phone using pccompanion

[Q] Help, I installed x10 kernel on x8

As title says, I installed nAa JB kernel for x10 not x8. Now my phone can't be recognized by flash tool (says debugging is off), PCC doesn't recognize it too, well it says my x8 is connected, but i need to mount it. Phone doesn't turn on, all I see is black screen, though it's on.
EDIT Somehow i left my phone plugged in and it connected itself into flash mode. it's solved.

Use Sony Ericsson Update Service.Just google it and you can download it easily. It doesnt want the phone to be mounted to flash the stock kernel and Rom.And later you can flash the correct kernel.

[Q] Flashtool doesnt work with Xperia Z at All

Hello everybody,
I tried to boost me girlfriends phone, its running with CM10.2 at the moment but she doesnt like it, she wants the stock rom back. My problem is i cant use flashtool for some reason it recognizes the phone but never start the flashing process. I tried older, newer versions, i installed xperia z and flashmode flashtool drivers as well(when i connect the phone in flashmode it says SEMC FLash Device), but i couldnt manage a single flash with them. I need flashtool to relock the bootloader otherwise i wont be able to reflash the stock rom via SEUS.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
Nathan

1- Put the phone on charge for more than 2 hrs to make sure battery is changed.
2- Download the older version of flashtool v 0.9.18.6 from flashtool.net website and flash the ftf.
Or you can use the official Xperia companion program to repair your phone.
