Keyboard Manager Plus is a full remake of the original Keyboard Manager, for non-rooted devices!
This version retains all the functionality of the free + paid version of Keyboard Manager.
It lets you customize which keyboard to use based on your device configuration.
The supported configurations include hard keyboard toggle, orientation switch, apps switch, and docking.
As your device goes through each configuration, the app automatically switch the keyboard by invoking the 'Select input method' dialog, and selecting the appropriate keyboard.

NOTE:
- KM+ acts as an accessibility service, and as such, it needs to be enabled from the Android Accessibility screen in the Android Settings.
- Optimized for Samsung Galaxy S4
- In docking mode, Android DayDream interferes with the keyboard switch.
i purchased the original root version a long time ago (before it was free).
i just purchased this version now to say "thanks" for continuing to support the root version all this time - its a very handy and unique app and it still works great on my galaxy nexus.
Hello.
I purchased Keyboard Manager Plus because of a problem between Samsung and External Keyboard Helper.
Each time the phone detects that a Bluetooth keyboard was connected/disconnected, it changes from whatever keyboard was set to Samsung keyboard.
How do I have to setup Keyboard Manager Plus to put back from Samsung keyboard to the External Keyboard Helper each time I connect the Bluetooth keyboard to my smartphone?
Greetings from Paraguay.

I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9 WIFI model with The Samsung Keyboard dock where you stick your tablet in but i have now one problem Some buttons on the keyboard are not working on ICS Honeycomb 3.2 it was working fine.
Buttons that are not working Are:
- Home button On keyboard
- Recent apps Button on Keyboard
- Internet shortcut
- Brightness up and down
- Mute volume
- Play Pause, Next track
- Apps tab On keyboard
- Hide Keyboard
Buttons that are working Are:
- Back button on keyboard
- Numbers from 1 to 0
- You can write
- Tab
- Caps lock
- Shift
- Ctrl
- Search shotcut
What can cause this Problem is the Keyboard dock just not compitable with ICS?
I suspect that it won't work fully until Samsung releases the official ICS update. My assumption is that the AOKP ROMs lack the necessary drivers for the keyboard (and the built in camera as well).

Okee Thanks for the answer!
In the stock rom you have to use the samsung keyboard while using the dock to get all the features. To use the keyboard dock with a custom ICS rom someone will have to port the samsung keyboard to ICS. I have tried but have been unsuccessful so far (probably a libs issue).

Hmmm - didn't know that. Haven't even opened the keyboard dock that I got bundled with my 8.9 - since I knew it didn't work with the ICS ROMs.
Any update?
Hi guys, I just purchased the keyboard dock and its not working. When I plug the charger into the charger port, it does charge my tablet.
I have the galaxy tab 8.9 LTE running the jellybean AOKP rom from dan-htc-touch.
Should I try to change my rom to see if there's any change?
Hi,
I've just connected a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo to my Nexus 7, it works great apart from the lack of a keyboard layout for English (UK). the only English layouts are US and US Dvorak style. Does anyone know of a way to get the keyboard to use a UK layout? The built-in Android keyboard has one and works fine.
Paul.
I'm going to second this question. The US layout is usable but when you have to use the " key to get an @ it starts to get annoying.
Workaround that works!
I had the same problem, having just bought a UK layout bluetooth keyboard from Amazon.
There is a workaround - "External Keyboard Helper Pro" in Google Play. It costs a couple of quid.
You can try out "External Keyboard Helper Demo" first, to show that it works - this is free to try out.
A word of warning - it took me a while to get this to work - it was quite fiddly, but it DOES eventually work!
A hint:
In Language & Input, these are the settings that work for me:
Default: External Keyboard Helper Pro
SELECTED: Android Keyboard: English (UK)
SELECTED: External Keyboard Helper Pro
Under choose input method, select:
Hardware Physical Keyboard OFF
English (UK) Android keyboard - NOT SELECTED
External Keyboard Helper Pro - SELECTED
By SELECTED I mean ticked in the above.
I found that choosing the English (Dvorak) layout in External Keyboard Helper Pro and having "Sound on keypress" on helped my work out when the app was intercepting the bluetooth keyboard input and remapping correctly. Once that you know it is working, switch off the sound and select "English (GB)" as the layout in External Keyboard Helper Pro.
I tried this solution and it works (though I have no idea why).
The problem is that you seem to have to go through the suggested routine every time you connect the keyboard.
Has anyone found a way of setting it up so that it automatically sets it self up with the English layout when you connect the keyboard and then reverts to the on-screen keyboard when you disconnect?
Is there any way to disable full screen keyboard without using Xposed module in nougat?
Some custom ROM may offer such feature
I don't fully understand what you're asking for. But if you don't want to show any keyboard for example when you're using an external keyboard you can just install External Keyboard Helper app, or if you want a fully customizable keyboard where you can choose size and separated keyboard or whatnot I would recommend Swiftkey keyboard.

When the phone is kept in landscape mode, full screen keyboard appears ,unlike in portrait mode where the keyboard is not full screen..there was a module in Xposed (Android m) using which I could do the same but I couldn't find any such app in N..
This is what I meant
Is it possible to use Samsung keyboard cover /EJ-CN920/ with 3rd party input methods (like ExternalKeyboard helper pro / Hacker's keyboard / AnySoft Keyboard / whatvever) and not with Samsung keyboard?
What I am trying to achieve is using one of the supported languages in Samsung keyboard with the keyboard cover on Note5. Unfortunately, this language is not one of the few available as an option in "language and input settings" when the cover is attached. So i tried to use EKHpro / Hacker's Keyboard / AnySoft kbd - that work flawlessly with Note 3 / Note 4 with 3rd party hardware keyboards. However, when attaching the keyboard cover to Note5 - the only input method allowed is Samsung keyboard.
Tried to resolve this with Samsung support to no avail
So, any suggestions how to use more languages with Samsung keyboard cover on Note 5
