Hey!
I'm new to android (Just moved from iPhone 4).
I have the stock rom.
I want to make some changes by myself to the current stock rom.
There is a way to get the code live to my computer and make changes?
If no, there is a way to get the original rom from HTC (Or from my phone directly) and change the code?
Thanks,
Tal.

The more messages I receive from someone, the longer it takes to open the thread (and the more it lags when typing a response). So my question is: is it possible to make it load only a couple of messages, when accessing someone's message-thread?
Because I'd rather not delete them to make it go faster..
Tnx
What ROM, etc.?
Same problem for me using the latest stock rom
I ask what ROM because there are different fixes per device.
I'm not sure if there is a Topaz fix.
I've attached the Pure fix.
Oh right sorry i misunderstood, mine is topaz. Is there no point trying this fix on mine then?
Thanks

Come to think of it, the differences are prevalent on cooked ROMs where they are based on different devices. Since you are on stock Topaz ROM, it should work.

It did not work on mine. I'm using original 6.5 swedish and I'm having the same problem. is there a fix for this?
I'm using the latest Dutch (NL) stock rom.
Is there no way to change a registry value that would make the message thread only load a few messages?

OK guys i'm well on my way to making something now, however I really want to jump start this by using some of the original images from Sense UI. I've got the RUU, but i can extract to a ROM zip. So has someone already done it, or can someone tell me how?
Thanks in Advance
Luke.

Hi guys,
I just flashed a new ROM (Android 2.3.4 with sense 3.0) and when I checked my phone info in the settings, the identity shows as Desire HD A9191. It isn't a great issue but is there any way I could modify this piece of information without flashing another ROM?
Thanks!
You'd have to contact the dev. The reason for the identity change is that the ROM was ported over from a "Desire" device and the dev didn't change this. It would be way too much work for very little pay-off.

Ok, thanks! I was a bit curious as in apps such as those for Benchmarks, they display my phone info correctly: IS, vivo, etc.
Hi !
I want to try the old ROM for Droid 4 :
VRZ_XT894_6.5.1-167_DR4-1_M1-219_1FF_01.xml.zip
I have actualy an ICS 4.0.4 Android version.
Is it possible ?
Regards,

It is not possible to downgrade from ICS to GB. Trying to do so will brick the phone. Any reason why you want to go back to Gingerbread? ICS is, imho, much better. If there is something not working/missing, we might be able to help you get ICS working the way you want it...
Any Hope of a Workaround for US GSM-based Carriers?

I personally would love to downgrade so that I can get my T-Mobile SIM working on my Droid 4. I am currently investigating if it would be feasible to either modify or push a new baseband via AT command or find Verizon's MCN restriction in the radio stack (perhaps in the radio interface layer)? Any suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated. I will be updating my thread on this issue soon.

Hi..
I recently bought a factory unlocked HTC One and have flashed a couple different ROMs so far to see which one I like, but was curious if it was possible to flash the latest Google play ROM to it. And if so, what should I look out for?

Yes, it's very possible to flash.
Any ROM made for the M7 (essentially any ROM under the development and original development subforum) will work just fine.
Personally I like ARHD, but the stock ones are great as well. If you want something more customized out of the box, Sinless is the way to go imho.

Hey thanks for the input. do I need to do anything special with the phone and it's bootloader or CID, or can I just flash it and go?
I just saw this page and it got me wondering...

As long as you're bootloader unlocked you can just flash away!
You'll need to S-off if you want to do the full Google Edition conversion (essentially just flash the hboot or bootloader). But just the ROM you can flash away as you wish without having to to any sorta trickery.
