C5302 or C5303?
Also, if its C5302, you can flash this https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B89b7SRiDMOWclhKOTNSeXY5SGM/edit and then root it.
Its Indian versin created by me and I can verify that it charges when its switched off. Cheers!
Another solution might be repairing phone via SUS. But since you are rooted with CWM, it won't work.
Ty so much bro, but mine is C5303

If that's the case then try the pre-booked kernel from Alivanov. I am using that it has no problem with charging or anything. However you need the bootloader to be unlocked.

Need ur help..!
1. When i charge my phone from socket, sometimes it shows does not even show that it's charging.. And most of the times, when i unplug it, it still shows the charging till the battery reaches 10%.. Always showing in battery status "0s on battery".
2. And from the USB, it detects it every time but when i unplug it, still it shows the USB connected and debugging mode on..
3. Battery is even not working fine.. Doesn't lasts even 6 hrs..
I think it's an issue of the battery or the usb port(i dont think it is coz its detecting my comp and let's the phone charge) or some battery IC in the phone..
It's Driving me crazy guyZ!!!
Wanna ask the fellow members before i take it to the service center..
P.S. Im using CM7.2 by mebitek
Wipe data, cache, reflash rom, flash another rom, check usb port, battery.. ALL THINGS DONE STILL NOT WORKING!

Maybe ... If you change your cable is working?
it should be the charger port issue, if you have warranty, SC will replace it for free

My X8 is totally dead after flash Stock 2.1 Firmware, using flashtool.
I couldn't turn it on, and couldn't get into CWM.
PC can't detect it, so I can't use Flashtool to fix it.
It can't be charged, no LED blink, NO RESPONS at all..
It has been successfully unlocked before, and there's no problems arise, flash kernel, flash firmware, it worked fine until I get it back to stock firmware.
Somebody help me please.. :crying:
Any idea to solve it?? beside using jtag..
thank you before..
(sorry for my english)
Charge it.
If you can't repair it with flashtools then I would recommend you to take it to Sony...
Also it may be possible that the battery of your phone is finished so better leave it connected to charger for few minutes and see whether it turns on..

Excuse me, there is something strange my xperia sp. When charging the battery, the indicator will stuck at certain percent and not moving. Then I unplug the charger and plugged it again, not long after that the battery monitor widget app notification ringging indicate when the battery is already 100%. I unplug the charger, but the battery then power down very quickly. Then I'm charging the battery once again until 100% then the battery back to normal conditions. It already three times something like this happens. What do you think happened? Sorry for my English

No, I'm not doing any MOD. So your suggestion is to repeat the flashing process with the same firmware but this time using flashtools? I'm never using it before, but I'll try it. Can you kindly give me the Flashtools link?

I'm not sure about this one but if the phone was mine I would try to flash a stock kernel ftf with flashtool. it might be you flashed something bad and things got corrupted. and if the phone is stuck like this your phone will probably not charge, so the battery is dead. in which case you cannot flash an entire rom. try to flash only the kernel from this using flashtool. .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647207
if this works then place your phone on charge for a few hours.
then reflash the entire stock ftf.
if none of this works I'm not sure what else you can try. good luck!

I have had this exact same problem for months now and thought I tried everything. But I guess not.:good: Just wondering what you did after you completed the wiring on the battery. Did you charge it for a certain amount of time, before turning it on? Did you have to flash a stock rom? Any input would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi my friends.
Today was very bad day for me. First my bird died, then my phone stops working and i stuck in elevator. I need your help. Afternoon i want to call my buddy for lunch. Everything starts after lockscreen. When i call him phone wont connect to operator then it says no connection and stuck at dialer. I push power button to get lockscreen and it frozen for while then it locks and i opened lockscreen. When i saw launcher phone resets and every time it resets at SONY logo. I flashed my device 3 times or more. I used .233 . 230 and 4.3 . Every time battery shows wrong percentage. Phone opens when i plugged to charge. But if it has sim card it resets. When i disconnect from charger it resets. I try to open USB DEBUGING for install recovery to reset battery info but when i check USB debuging it resets again. You guys have any idea for that problem.
Did you try clean installation?

Try pushing your simcard back in place, sometimes it'll get out of place, and then you're phone won't connect to network and reboot every time it thinks simcard is removed

Looks like the is some issue with Sim assembly or can be a software/hardware issue.
As all methods have not worked take the phone to a service center and get it diagnosed
ive got the reboot problem too,
try to use philz touch, go to mount and storage, mount system, factory reset,
go back to mount, mount system, flash rom
keep stamina mode off, so far that has kept my rom stable ( tried to turn stamina mode on and caused a reboot after an hour or so)
im not sure if this a final solution, but its what i am trying
Yesterday i got my device from service. They change full body. I didnt understand what problem couses it. Now everything works fine.
