Hello,
I installed this app for Network Security, downloaded from official site, i scanned the Aplikation and there was a data named:
Trojan.AndroidOS.Kaiser.A
I scanned this with Zoner AntiVirus too, and it shows this as a Problem.
So my question: ist this a Problem? Or not? Because many Apps where shown as problems but they aren't.
Please help, Thanks.

Its better to give a data reset. If its a serious virus then it may lead to disfunction of your phone. Is it a batch file? Or an apk?

Sorry, I don't know if I'm in the right place and suspect my non existent level of knowledge might offend, as reading all these posts are way above my level. Yahoo mail keeps sending me emails that my mobile phone security is out of date and no longer secure. Is there somewhere I can go and click on an update? I thought this would be something that was done automatically, like with windows, but obviously not. Or is my only option to upgrade to a new phone? Thanks, I'd appreciate your help. I thought it would be easy to find something online but maybe I am asking the wrong question.

Well i'm not a regular cm user but i read at many threads about Pdroid patch. So i'm curious about what it actually is? Can anyone explain plz? Thank you
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Basically pdroid is for the security paranoids. It helps you to change the permissions that the app uses..
Mkre like restrict the app from using specific features.
Thats what i know. If i am wrong, someone please correct me.
Don't be a noob. Be a newbie..!!
Details here.

You should be....Some app developers use extra permissions which allow them to discreetly serve sms/cell from your device..You wouldn't know where your money is going mate..

I just scanned my memory card.. the titanium backup of app "youtube downloader" had virus and even the "Root.zip" download from one of the threads in this site had the virus named android_dc.DCY detected on AVG antivirus.. but avast did nt show anything of such kind.. any serious effects of this virus..???
Avg is a little overactive, it also seems to see root as a problem.

Try scanning with Avast! before jumping to the conclusion that it has a virus. Avast! is the most accurate free AV you can get.

But the PC definitions are different to the mobile definitions. Android viruses won't set off any PC anti-viruses because Android is based on Unix.

Use Zoner Antivirus. I saw it's the best rated free antivirus for android.

True but most of the viruses that you would get from an android device, will be pc viruses.
You're both full of crap. PC virussen can't infect Unix/Linux systems. And there are no android specific viruses, just malware apps.

Dutch people *
And that's one politician. Not how the whole of Holland handles it.
And the reason I react like this is because I think it's unbelievable that you join xda-DEVELOPERS and can't even keep your own phone safe or even worse don't ask or search a website properly.

XDA is not a place for politics and countries. We're one multicultural community and you have to accept that. I hope I won't see similar topic in the future.

it means that you have some error in line 1, you shouldn't remove whole line (but you already know it) but change that line, maybe if you posted it here someone would be able to help...
When this Forum Section launched i already asked this question but back then, we were on ICS and things haved changed i belive
Today i was searching through system apps, removing unused apps and moving Google Play Apps to the Internal Space...
Then i found an app called HdmiSettings...
Thought its a stock JB app but when i looked into the manifest i found it made by INTEL !?
While this app is hidden (or the settings option?) when using my new favorite app tasker and launching an app via a task, in the app list when having enabled "ALL" the app shows up as "HDMI"
when i launch it i can enable hdmi, there are several options, but only available when connected i gues...
still dont have such an adapter, can anybody try it out please?
Will post a Scrot from my phone later

i had this probleme today with a other post...i was thinking it because i don't have to post on some post because i don't have 10 posts
because on some post i saw the option reply.
I'd say it Seems weird that the "8 thanks per day limit" only exists on the xda site, and Not on the app, anyone else seeing this? Thanx in advance.

Ya i noticed that, i bought xda premium thinking the free version was the problem but after getting on the pc xda sight where you can see the full view i saw where it said needed 10 posts to post where i wanted to, so i will admit i went through some old topics and made 10 replys so I could post where i needed to, after 10 posts i tried a different rom that didn't support xda premium but only free version and I was able to post every where
