I recently flashed an HTC One Google Edition (4.3) rom to my HTC One. This is the ROM link, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2356654, I don't have enough posts to ask anyone there for help. After flashing this ROM with TWRP I am stuck with fastboot and adb both being unable to access my phone via usb. I have double and triple checked that I have the proper drivers installed, but to no avail. I really really only need to be able to adb pull the contents of my SD card, but I can't access it. I am stuck at the HBOOT screen unable to access recovery or anything else for that matter. Please, any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!

no
your partitions are corrupted, and you cannot flash any other roms until you run the RUU again
you need to read before you do such things next time.

Okay then, thanks for your help! I have no idea how I would begin to restart the process on my phone though. Is there a thread that you could direct me to?
Send your phone along with a 1TB hard drive to flex he will fix you right up
On a more serious note. Head over to the developer forum and start reading the stickied threads. Plus Google is your friend.

i'm experiencing a similar problem with my phone. i rooted my phone today (using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327473) and it was running fine, but i installed an application from the play store called [Root] Developer tools to allow me to load up recovery boot. i gave it permission but when i tried turning my phone on it just stays blank. ive tried the hard reset (up+power button) but all that happens is my phone vibrates 3 times and a green light flashes. please help

try fastboot oem ?
you should get a list of commands from fastboot.
also what bootloader version are you using?
fastboot devices will tell you if fastboot sees your phone. Was your phone in fastboo mode?

when you run the ruu is your phone only charging, or are you mounting it? if you're mounting it, don't. also try a different cable. also you could try downloading and installing htc sync maybe and see if it updates your drivers.

Well it would be nice if you would post how you fixed it. You posted asking for help with your problem and you received it. Now what if some other member has the same problem.??? Your post could potentially help someone in the future. XDA is all about gaining knowledge and sharing that knowledge as well.

first thing i have tried to unlock its BL
after reading and figuring out how to set up adb

i have tried it on my mac os x as well as on parallels win 7
and another win 7 laptop with 2 different cables.
what cam i doing wrong?
can it be hardware problem?
thanks to all who cant help!
That appears to be a mac problem with the fastboot binary. When I searched people had more success in windows.
In windows, make sure the usb drivers are installed correctly.
Search for the fastboot error and read some of the results.
thank you evilkorn
tho as i mentioned i get this error on my pc laptop as well
im running win 7 32 bit
i have tried letting win to auto instal his drivers which he did instal successfully
as well as removing them and with internet off guiding the wizard to the usb driver dir
what else can i try?
What version of bootloader is on the phone?
Looks like it has Blackrose installed.
Boot into bootloader, and post the info you're seeing in the top left corner.
yes black-rose mentioned (2012.02.16)
so im guessing it was silly not to check that i have custom hboot in place
thank you very much! i have spent 4 hures racking my brain
so dos it mean that my BL is unlocked?
i dont have recovery (at least nothing comes up when i boot into it)
can some one point me in the right direction regarding what steps to take to make my phone up to date?
im guessing i need recovery but im not sure which one to use and what is the difference
(my previous phone was sgs and there was only cwm)
also im a bit afraid to brick it, what should i reed before flashing any thing?
what can brick this phone?
again thank you guys so much
Blackrose installed doesnt necessarily mean that your bootloader is unlocked. it may or may not be.
regarding recovery, i would suggest 4EXT.
you can either fastboot the recovery.img or else download 4EXT RECOVERY UPDATER app from play store aka market and install the recovery from there.
Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
With blackrose installed, there is no need for either bootloader unlock or s-off.

Hello all,
I am very new to the community of rooting and am completely lost. A friend of mine gave me this dell streak 7 because someone gave it to him and he was never able to get it to work. I am stuck at "Starting Fastboot USB download protocol" If someone would possibly explain how I might go about fixing this and using it with it's maximum potential I would appreciate it very much. Now although I am very tech savvy I don't have the slightest clue about rooting or loading custom roms so I will have to be talked to like a child until I get comfortable. As of now I have connected the streak to my computer but have yet to have it recognized. That's pretty much as far as I have gotten. I do have a 32gb SD card as well if it needs to be used in the process somehow.
Thanks for all everyone's time and help

ok so, while waiting for a response from someone on here I was playing around with it and realized that the first step i was missing was getting the computer to recognize the tablet. I never had the correct drivers installed and I was having a hard time getting windows to recognize the drivers.
Anyway I am finally able to get the drivers into windows and now I am able to control the device from the command prompt on the computer.
What is my next step? how do i load the rom into the device ? and which one is the best to use for this one ?
I'm thinking the last person who had this device messed it up very badly and now all it wants to do is go into fasboot mode nothing else, i thought I had installed the (Clockwork mod recovery.img) S7-6.0.1.2.img into the recovery using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334487,

You have your choice. You can use HoneyStreak ROM's by DJ_Steve, which are completed (Honeycomb Android 3.2)
You can run my CM10.1 (Android 4.2.1)

Thank you. I will look at these and hopefully it will clear some things up. The problem is that my situation is unique I think. I don't know if maybe i have a broken button or the person who gave it to me really messed it up but all it does is boot into fastboot automatically, although I can get it into NVFLASH mode i don't know what these modes do. Are they both able to flash the system so I can use the device? If so do some files work in one that don't work in the other?
I tried putting the device in NVFlash mode caus I want to put the CM10.1 FW on it, am I headed in the right direction ? The only things that I can launch are "Install JB_Alpha_E.bat" and "NVFLASH.exe" running the Install_JB one opens the command prompt and it looks like it is doing something which is how it looks in the video but then suddenly after it processes some files the command prompt window just closes, am I doing something wrong ?

You are doing it wrong. Go read my first post in that thread very very very very very very very carefullly.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130081
I'll give you a hint, the line you want to pay attention to is stated right above the download links.
Failed executing command 12 NvError 0x12002
So because the cmd prompt closes so fast I cannot see the error, so I took a video and paused i played it until it froze right where the message came up.
Here is what it says if failes right after creating partitions blah blah blah
Failed executing command 12 NvError 0x12002
command failure: create failed (Bad data)
bootloader status: fatal failure to read / write to mass storage (code:9) message: nverror:0x8 (0x19000008) flags: 0
What does that even mean ? is the device broken somehow ?
Sorry

I looked back and maybe I'm missing what you are saying but I already have the device in NV mode and have the drivers installed if that is what you were talking about.
Now it's just the crashing problem that i'm having. Any ideas? or am I still doing it wrong?

Sorry, at the time I had posted that you were still working with fastboot.
Do you have the drivers installed and in device manager it states that it sees "nvidia recovery" ?
Hard reset with a push pin, go back into NVFLASH mode again, and run the batch file again. If it fails, you hvae to do this step every time.

Damn, let me guess, he won't tell anyone how to do it either or show pictures of claimed revived device.
As far as dell goes, is it something that they will fix or do they consider the warranty void because of whatever was done to it to make it like that?
So sad and here I thought I was actually progressing in fixing it. Question though, how does something like that happen? Did the person flash it wrong? Or interrupt it while writing some critical process?
Actually he did tell us how to do it, it was just 1 in a million chance it works.

I can help, first I need to know which HTC One you have, what carrier.
Once youve found out which carrier head over to the sticky with all the stock RUUs and download the one for your phone and carrier (if youre soff then just download anyone) then hold power and vol down to get into bootloader, press fastboot. Plug in your phone and dont touch it... Open up command prompt (assuming youre on windows) and go to your fastboot location... Type in "fastboot oem lock" wait for it to relock youe bootloader... Then type "fastboot rebootRUU" then wait til your phone shows a different screen, the RUU one. Now open up the RUU .exe and run it. Your phone will now be at stock.
That should work if you have fastboot working.

Hello,
One week ago, I was using my phone as usual when suddenly froze and I pulled the battery, then I was stuck in boot loop so I decided to go into download mode and reflash it, but I accidentally flashed H811N instead of H811H , now my phone is hard bricked !! " No charging / No download mode / Nothing at all " , is there any way to fix it ?
Thanks
There's a fix a couple posts down. Have you tried that yet?

Yes I tried but I got some errors ! I don't know why, I think it might be because of I did not find a stock dump (img) of H81110H ?
What errors did you get? Which build did you use?
Also, try this. It doesn't look like he has the system.img available, but you could always try to pull it out of the kdz. There's some directions online.

Were you able to try the files I gave you there?
And do you know which error it gave you? You might want to try to fastboot a recovery (put a recovery in the same folder as your adb and fastboot, name it recovery.img, run command "fastboot boot recovery.img", then installing a rom from the recovery), although I haven't tried his method yet so I am not sure if that is even possible.

I actually the error was about flashing a different version then I tried for another time gave an error of different size of firmware.
When I try to connect the phone to my computer, it appeares as "qhsusb_bulk" and doesn't recognize the phone.
Now I can't turn it on or charge it, or even getting to download mode ! ??
Try using the Google Android adb drivers. Keep trying different USB ports until it works.

Something similar happened on my G2 at one point, so everything I'm saying is going off that.
Firstly, what was the situation of your phone prior to this? Was it rooted? Did it tend to overheat? What are the first three numbers on your serial number?

Well I did a really strange thing, in which I put my phone in the freezer, and I got into the download mode again. When I start to flash the KDZ file, I got an error " Erro Code = 0x2000, TOT antirollback version is smaller than device version. " , any ideas how can I solve it ?

That usually means you were on marshmallow and tried to downgrade to lollipop. You sure you had lollipop?

At this point, I'd recommend trying the method with every version on opensource.lge.com newer than the version you tried that gave you the previous error.
