c6602
JB 4.2.2
10.3.1.A.0.244
singapore edition
On unlocked bootloader just reinstall the rom
On locked bootloader I am afraid you have to re flash stock and just unpick wipe data with flashtool (link for flashtool in my sig and how to work it)
Next time make a nandriod with cwm
Edit: you have a corrupt system file somewhere which is stopping your phone from booting

my phone was rooted and cwm installed. i tried to flash aura rom and after that it just show sony logo. please help me how to unbrick it?
Use SUS application (Sony Update Service), this will re-install the stock ROM. But note that using this will wipe your internal storage
Here is the download link for the Sony Update Service. http://software.sonymobile.com/insta...-2.13.3.43.exe
this works only for Locked bootloader and it will wipe your internal storage.
just download this application , this is sony update service , select your device in the application and it will flash a stock rom on your device

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will try it tommorow.
it works i did the same installing another rom which said worked with locked bootloaders but got the sony symbol appear.
it does make you panic tho as it took me a while to figure out how to do it this will help alot of people who think they have bricked there phone.
can anyone flash roms on locked bootloaders?
i can flash sound mods they work fine but not these roms people are making with stock kernals
But why did it brick? Is aura rom not compatible with locked bootloader?
For me too it worked liked a charm. But the Rom wasn't installed don't know why. It was stuck in between.

Use Flash Tool to flash stock xperia z ftf
First if all i have unlocked my bootloader and rooted my device.
I have flashed a few custom roms, all being AOSP based roms.
I am having trouble going back to sony based roms...
I did a full format of everything and tried to flash eXistenZ Black Edition v3...
I am stuck with a boot animation...
I'm having a little trouble using flashtool (i cant find xperia Z drivers) but it still picks up that my device is a c6602 and that it is connected.
Everytime i try to flash a stock unbranded .FTF rom i get "No loader found" or "Error preparing files"
Can i flash a ROM using fastboot or will i need to use flashtool?
And any reason why i cant use flashtool?
Help would be thoroughly appreciated as i love this device but i am used to my SGS2 ( alot simpler when flashing between touchwiz and AOSP)
Thanks in advance!
You need flashtool beta4 or beta6.
Remove and reinstall flashtool.
Try another firmware.
Try excluding TA while flashing.
You can also go back to stock by using emma from sony but read the instructions on there website.

Hello in need of some serious help my xperia z was rooted but with locked bootloader i tried to flash a app thru Teamwin it sent me into a boot loop so now all the phone does is flash team win then turn off and on it has a solid purple light any help will be appreciated and i will make a donation thru paypal for anyone that can help!!
Seems can be fixed very easy:
Either fire up PCC and choose repair phone.
Else download Flashtool, disable force driver signing and install the following drivers from Flashtool:
- Xperia Z
- Fastboot
- Flash mode
Then download a ftf with stock firmware, and Flash it using Flashtool.
Et voilá, your phone is back with the livings.
If you can't find a ftf, just ask me, i'll upload mine tomorrow.

While phone is in usb bootloader mode, type in cmd "fastboot erase Cache" and it should return to normal.
Btw: have you flashed anything that would make this happen? Like kernal or mods?

Read the op on how to install whatever mod you want to flash and make sure it's a flashable zip through recovery. The sound mod might have done it if you didn't install it right. I don't think you need a flash tool to flash the mod and you could have done it through your phone's recovery.

Make sure you WIPE DATA and CACHE when flashing an FTF.
Well, lets dig a bit deeper
1) Which phone do you have (C69**?)
2) Which firmware were you on before?
3) Which version of doomkernel did you flash?
4) Have you unlocked the bootloader?
Managed to fix it, thanks everybody.
Hi!
I have an Sony Xperia V phone. I wanted to flash CM12 Nightly on it, but it has locked bootloader. Firstly, I root it with TowelRoot and next, using FlashGordonBB, I flashed PhilzTouchRecovery.
I downloaded "cm-12-20150221-NIGHTLY-tsubasa" from CM site and install it like normal ROM (Of course I did the backup first). There was an error and something went wrong, so i reset to factory defaults and reboot phone. I have seen the Sony logo and next only grey screen was showing. I can't enter to Recovery to restore backup - I am seeing grey screen all the time.
What can I do? Please Help!
Thank you

Flash a stock FTF file using flashtool. It's the only solution you have mate.
After that you can unlock your bootloader and install cm12 (root and unlocked bootloader are 2 things completely different).
If you need any help let me know
