hi guys,
i recently installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123602 with openpdroid modification (via AGP autopatcher).
unfortunately my headphone button does not work in combination with jays headset control. CWM key test however recognizes key "248".
another problem just occured. at first i did not hear my conversation partner when making a call (or even the beep before the conversation). when i reboot the phone, it takes 30-300 seconds until i have to enter the pin.
called a friend in switzerland and it said "no net". called my german home number, everthing fine! called him again, 1 second conversation, then the phone said "no mobile net available" (or similar, language is german)
can you help me?
kernel: 3.4.37-eternityproject-gc9306c4
cm: 10.2-20130810-eternityproject-p880

ps.: i can't post in the dev thread since i don't have enough posts
due to the fact that it seems like a rom/kernel issue, i think we should call @kholk to let him know about the problem and give him the possibility to solve it

Hi there,
I'm going crazy with my Touch Diamond. Since I have it, I've tried to test every functions except for videocalls. Now that I'm testing it i get an error which (roughly) says "Failure on videocall; what do you wish to do?" and I get four options "Try again, Make a voice call, Send SMS, Send MMS".
Has any of you had the same problem? If so, little help?
I tried to search the forum, the web, I called the operator and was told that there is no special configuration needed (not surprised), and i still can't make a video call.
Thanks to you all
I have the original Portuguese HTC Rom 2.03.410.1
---
Updated:
I tried to change Connection settings for Sel. Networks to "TMN Internet", soft reseted, made a video call and worked.
Then I change it back to "My Work Network", soft reseted, made a video call and ... worked.
I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, but it solved my problem
Hi all,
I have a problem with my new Diamond, that I hope someone can help me with.
Sometimes when I make a call or when I recieve a call, there is no sound in the "internal" speaker. Only if I press the button to enable the "external" speaker, I can here what the person says that I'm calling.
This happens 50-80% of the times that I use the phone. I'm thinking that it might have something to do with that I a use BT headset and a builtin BT system in my car, and the phone can't handle to "change" - or something.
I have the newest Danish ROM on the phone.
Hope somebody got an idea. Thanks.

I`ve the same problem since yesterday, has somebody the same problems??
I have the exact same problem and have not found a fix for this yet
I have checked phone reception and even changed different simcards and carrier.
It still happens and i am using the latest ROM as well.
I downgraded the rom back to factory default.
Same thing happens once in a while.
To me this sound like a hardware related problem and i dont know if HTC will cover this under warranty.
try deleting sms and emails from ur phone and then see
I had this problem after I installed LIVE PVR Call recorder. I uninstalled it and had no more problems.
Dear users,
So 2 months ago I returned to Europe from USA. I bought an AT&T Captivate over there and since it could not be used over here, I unlocked it. But after unlocking the phone I noticed an very frustrating problem :
When someone calls me there are absolutely no problems no mater how many times they call.
When I call someone the first time everything is also ok.
But when I try to call someone after I already called once, there is no sound. I can't hear absolutely nothing and neither can the person that is beeing called. Not a sound, not even the "beep...beep" sound (sorry, i don't know how it's called in English) when you are making a phone call.
So basicly I have to restart my phone after every time I call someone to be able to make a call and actualy speak to them, and then restart again.
I hope I described clearly what the problem is. Is there some way I can fix this because it is extreamly frustrating ?
P.S. i'm using Froyo OS.
The Froyo build is Beta - so it could be your problem. Also, the Captivate is still an AT&T phone, so even though it is unlocked, it may not like the network you are using.
You could try the following:
1. Different SIM - different provider
2. Roll back to 2.1
So I purchased the Sony Ericsson Aspen. Unfortunately, I got the M1a and not the M1i. SE released a software update (R1BA013, R4A) for the M1i that fixed most of the known bugs. However, its sibling, the M1a, remains stuck at R1AB038, R7A (I think R7A is Americanese for R3A; both have odd numbers! ) and suffers from several annoying bugs including but not limited to:
- Bluetooth issues: disconnections, static noise, stuck at connected to headset mode even if headset was turned off.
- Phone Calls: Unable to receive calls. The phone will be working just fine for days. Then suddenly, you receive one call, the phone and keypad will light up, but the home screen will not change to show the Caller ID/Actions screen. You will have to first reject the call, then go to the call register to see who called you and call them back. You can still make calls, but you can never receive any on any of the installed panels once the problem appears. Only a Soft Reset can fix it until it happens again day(s) later.
My question is this:
I have Omnius installed on my PC. Is there any way to get the Generic Worldwide English firmware (R1BA013) and the UK customization (R4) files either through SEUS or the Internet to flash my M1a? Is it even possible? Do I need to change the phone's CDA for it work? Is there a way to trick SEUS into updating my M1a as if it's an M1i? It looks like SE will give up on the M1a and will not release any future updates for it! It's has been three months since they released the update for the M1i now...
One more thing: checking SEUS with my phone connected says that I have the most recent software; HOWEVER, it doesn't even offer me an option to reflash it again! I can only exit the application! Why is SE treating all the (a) versions of its phones differently compared to the (i) ones?
Have u succeeded?
have u succeeded? i desperately wanted to change the region also! thanks
Hi there.
I have Note 9 without any brand. Updated to newest firmware that existed and about two updates ago there was problem - i cant make any calls. Restarts one helps, and other time don`t help at all. And now - it was no use to restart phone because of this problem. I felt that it might be this problem and i turned off this option and tried to make call - and nothing. Only when i restarted phone again - i can make phone calls normally like before. This problem exists not everytime, it looks like when i make call to my second phone it is only "connecting..." at my note9, and other phone is ringing. And there is two kind of behavior, first - in note i cant hear anything, just this "connecting..." message, and other phone after few seconds hangs up and ask about reconnect. And second - after few seconds after receiving call it finally works but it have take some time between receiving call at second phone and hearing anything. Its lottery.
Now i have this option disabled, phone is restarted and now i can make calls. I contacted Samsung via chat (samsung members app) and via Twitter and they said to me to go to their service to diagnose or sth, but i know what i will hear at service: "please reset your phone to factory settings and if then this issue will be present we will take your phone and try to repair it" but i don`t want to do this because of all this configuration and hours of clicking... I dont like to do this when i dont have to.
So my question - do you have similar or the same problem? Is WiFi calling have anything to do with sim provider?

Well need a few things to be able to help.
Carrier?
Model? I'm guessing N960I1?
What is the firmware version you're on?

And I'm assuming the carrier Support Wi-Fi calling right? It may be a provisioning issue. You should try contacting your carrier and verify Wi-Fi calling is a feature and that they support it on your device. They should also be able to help you activate it if they support it.
I wrote that it was working normally before, and now it stops. I`ve had this thing working.
