Hi, I was wondering if is possible to unroot the Tattoo, I mean, flash the official RUU and get my phone as a stock one.
Anyone knows how can I do that?
Thanks!
Just flash the stock ROM, and goodbye root.
Cheers
Thanks @Zecanilis
Is this going to remove the custom recovery image on my device?
Regards
yes.. It will
HI guys,
Planning on returning the HTC One due to incompatibility with Aus 850Mhz, I am running 1.28.401.7, the phone has been rooted and recovery has been replaced with CWM how can I return the phone to factory? I can't seem to find a RUU to return it to stock. Could anyone with this version be kind enough to extract the stock recovery so then I can use the nandroid back up of the stock rom to return it to stock rom then replace the CWM with stock recovery then relock bootloader. Will this method work please help as I need to send the phone back asap.
Bump
I'm s-on and lost my original nandroid months ago but can I just flash a stock ROM or do I need to downgrade the boot loader? Also if someone could point me to a rooted stock ROM that would be awesome

You dont need to downgrade the bootloader to go back to the ICS stock rom. You cant go back to a gingerbread rom though

... Without flashing a downgraded hboot...
There is a thread that talks about it somewhere... But that's only for going back to gingerbread....

Hi,
I rooted my HTC one phone and flashed new firmware on it but quite foolishly didn't make a back up of my stock rom. My original CID is ORANG001 so the only way to get back to stock it seems is to find a nandroid backup or an RUU of this firmware, is that right? Before I flashed a custom rom I had sense 5.5 and android 4.3. Was wondering if anyone had or knew where I could get a back up of this particular stock firmware? I have found a couple of sites but the links are not working. Does anybody have any other ideas on how I can go back to stock firmware and get OTA updates

Not quite hard to do
But I wanna ask you 1 question- Why do you want to return to stock? Returning to stock is just a limited version of a Sense-based custom ROM.
Why don't you flash a Sense-based custom ROM, which is almost identical to Stock? For example ARHD 52.0
I don't want to return to stock now as I'm enjoying custom roms on my phone. I just want to ability to return to stock for potential warranty issues or if I would like to receive OTA updates from my carrier. I think the software version i need is 2.24.61.1

Hi guys, I got an original M7 last year, which was running stock and I flashed bigxie's GPE 4.4.2 ROM. I want to sell my M7 now and can anyone guide me to flashing back to stock sense 4.4.2?

this two guides are a bit confusing, as i was hoping to get a stock sense zip.file in which i can just flash and un-root, re-lock the bootloader and get done with it. I'll be selling this phone to a friend of mine and he said he wanted to try out sense and he'll flash custom rom after he's done testing so I guess i don't really need to go 100% stock as long as it's running sense, unrooted, running stock recovery and able to receive OTA. Can anybody guide me to that? It will be a biiiiig help cause i'm still a newbie in these and it would mean a whole lot to me. Thanks

Look, if he's anyway gonna flash a custom ROM, you're gonna make his work harder by resetting it to stock as he will have to unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery, root and then a ROM. So, if that's the case, just flash a Sense ROM like ARHD and sell it to him. So, to flash a custom rom, all he has to do is wipe and flash it.
If, for some reason, he insists on a stock phone which on which he's gonna flash a ROM (makes no sense to me), follow the 2nd guide. If you're confused what to do, I can help you out. Post the output of you're 'fastboot getvar all' and remove imei and s/n
P.S. ' running sense, unrooted, running stock recovery and able to receive OTA ' is a fully stock phone
Except that a fully stock phone is S-ON while you're S-OFF
