Hello,
i used HTC Easy Unlock Bootloader Tool with my Desire C. I got the token and pasted it on the HTC-page. It was prompted that the code was sent to my email account, but theres nothing.
I got the verification mail after registering at HTC so i guess they know my email adress.
How long does it take to get the unlock-code ?
E.P.
I got the unlock code thingy almost instantly

It really shouldn't take that long. If you don't get it in 24 hours try sending it again, making sure you input it correctly.
Or try taking the long route from htcdev.com
solved: simple explanation ...
Hello,
thanks for your replies !
Having had my first computer at the age of 13 ( Commodore C16 ) i thought to be a child of the computer age.
But this explanation didn´t come to my mind:
The unlock-key got stuck in the GMX-spam filter
Well everything´s fine now, hooray !

I'm surprised that a hard reset wouldn't fix it! Try this and see if it will work you, device has to be unlocked though...

I got my One about a month ago (first droid phone!) and have been trying to get the unlock code from htcdev.com, but it never sends it. I've gone through the unlock steps for "all other supported models", successfully submitted the Device Identifier Token and just wait for the email it says it sent with the file attachment. It never arrives. I even set up a 2nd account using gmail and the same thing. I've tried from Firefox and Chrome. I have tried this about 15 times now and getting pretty annoyed. Is this typical? Why the hell don't they send the code like they say they did? I manage the server with the email account I initially used, so I have access to all of the raw email server logs and nothing from htc is ever in there except for when I initially created the account and I received the email to activate the account.
All I want to do is get this stupid AT&T software off my phone so I can tether and use the net the way god intended
Since this is my first android phone, I'm not an expert on the ROM scene. From what I've read I probably want to install an International ROM and I believe the only way to do that involves unlocking the bootloader. Are there any other ways to do this if HTC won't send the unlock code for my phone?
I appreciate the help. I love this phone but want to get rid of half the crap that is on it that I can't remove and I don't use a single AT&T app.
I used this method to unlock, read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582

I have an HTC One on AT&T and didn't have a problem. Not sure what's going on with HTC Dev.

+1 on using revone to unlock. The link is a couple of posts up.
Anyone having probs lately with HTC Dev Unlock? Wife's phone (took Dec. 18 OTA).
I (twice) gave the 'fastboot oem get_identifier_token' response and no e-mail.
Weird.
??

I would check to see which email you used to register your account with HTCDev; they will send the file to that email address.
I used their service to unlock my phone a few days ago, and the email came almost instantaneously.

Heck yea -- have the right e-mail address -- everything goes there and it's not going to SPAM, either (all whitelisted). I'm trying to figure out if the code unlock operation is down or for whatever reason, even though accepting the code (gave 'em two since I ran get_identifier_token twice) they're not giving out unlocks for the moment. Hopefully not the latter.

Well, finally got it -- but a *very* long wait. I googled around, so some other folks waiting all day sometimes, so apparently ok.
Delete the thread if you want, Moderator -- unless it's useful for other impatient folks who have their wife breathing down their necks looking to get out of the Sprint choke-hold on their phones.
HAAAAaaa. Wife's very happy -- InsertCoin'd. Merry Christmas all -- obviously my day is getting better with that out of the way!
Hi guys,
Who here had the problem with the tablet not being able to unlock? I get the vague message about my internet connection but that is not the problem. This tablet has had a board-swap so that could be the problem?
I tried to use the device-tracker and that wouldn't work either.
I've contacted asus a month ago and every now or than I get a email that it should work but obviously it doesn't
Can people who had the same problem share their solution? Or is there another way to unlock the tablet yet?
Thanks.
I had this message. I kept trying till it worked. Also make sure you dont have 2 step verification enabled.
What do you mean with 2 step verification? I've been trying daily for the past two weeks but no luck...

He means the Google 2 step verification.
But your problem is the board swap. Now the Mac address or serial number does not match what they have in their database. You have to persistent. Take a Screenshot of your About Tablet page and attach it to each email you send them. Do not mention that you want to unlock. Say device tracker doesn't work.
Send them an email every day for a week. Send them two mails every day the following week....All it takes is for someone to bother contacting HQ in Taiwan and change the entry for your tablet in their database.
And keep trying the Unlock Tool. Sometimes HQ doesn't even report back to customer service it seems... Big corporation - bad communication ....

Thanks for your helpful post. I told them that the device tracker isn't working and the unlocktool isn't also. I gave them the info about the mac and device id and they made the correct database change now. So now it works.
I have one question left. What do they need my google account for?
Thanks

Wow! That was painless! It took weeks and months for others to get that adjusted!
No idea about the Google account - it's probably just a way to verify who it is who's unlocking the tablet. Once you enter your Google password it would be hard to argue that your 5-year old accidentally unlocked the tablet and you want it reversed

I am unable to use the unlock token page to unlock my device for the tmo variant because my serial number is 7 digits (?) when it requires 8 digits. What should I do? Should I send the device into oneplus to replace? Thanks

Did you copy everything directly from the fastboot output? If so, it should work. If not you can try to contact support, but I'll warn you, it's not fun trying to deal with their support. There have been multiple issues with the bootloader unlock site that I've had to deal with customer support and each time it's been like pulling teeth and never really accomplished anything directly with their support (they eventually forwarded the issues higher up and got them fixed on the backend of their website).

I got mine day 1 as well but it worked. Just took them almost 3 months to even add the 10 pro to the website to unlock and when they finally did and people got their tokens, the token links were broken and took another week to get fixed. Try going into settings --> About Device --> Status and see if you're serial number on there is 8 digits or not. If so use that one. If not just try to contact them.
