Hello, I've been experiencing a problem since I had my old I9003. It is exactly the same: When I lock my phone, it sometimes loses the connection to internet until I unlock it. Then, suddenly it connects and recieves all the info that was waiting to arrive.
Additionaly, I see that the phone is almost always using Edge connection, and that is very strange because I live in a big city and everybody with the same model of phone recieves H connection. When I do recieve that quality, internet works perfectly. Strangely, the phone never uses 3g connection, when the icon appears at the top, it suddenly changes to H.
As I said before, the same problem happened to me with my samsung galaxy SCL, exactly the same. I sent it to the oficial service of samsung and recieved a new samsung galaxy s plus. However, I think that they just changed the outside of the mobile phone, because the connectivity problem remained the same.
The info of my phone is the next:
Android: 4.1.2
I9001XXKPG
3.0.74-cyanogenmod-g8b4fc54
[email protected] #195
I flashed my phone to 4.1.2, but this problem already existed before flashing.
Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Hello, after some time I experienced strange problem with my TyTn II. Some of incoming calls are redirected to voicebox even if the phone seems to be connected to the network. Moreover, I almost cant connect via 3G to the internet. It tries to connect than returns the message "called modem disconnected". The internet icon changes to something like two arrows with X. It connects sometimes but the internet seems to be quite slow and it disconnects after some time with the some message. Sometimes but rarely, the outgoing calls are not working as well (without any message, just "calling" changed to "end of call" message). Sometimes the phone looses signal in the area where definitely is a good signal. All other functions are absolutely perfect, SMS including.
Anybody experienced such issue ?
I made hard reset but it didnt help. I tested the phone in different places. I am using original ROM and new SIM card which work perfect in other phones. I have never flashed the ROM, never bathed my phone in the beer, nothing bad happened to it
I sent it to HTC service but they have returned it after one month with the message saying that during troubleshooting they didnt experience any problems so they just rewritten the original software in the phone. It was ok than for 2 weeks but now all problems returned again.
If you have any hint or have the same experience, please let me know. Thanks
Try switching to GSM only (no 3G) mode.
If it works there, it's most likely hardware fault.
I have recently purchased Galaxy S and the phone runs fine for most part. But when I try to use GPRS on the phone, its slows down a lot and often freezes for several seconds. I only have this issue while using GPRS and not wifi. As soon as I switch GPRS off the phone gets back to its normal speed.
Does anyone know the likely cause of the problem and its solution? I am currently using Android 2.1 and the 2.2 upgrade is not available in my region.
Hi,
Since a while my provider activated DC. When my phone (6603) swithches between H, H+ and DC there seems to be a short loss of data. On the phone itself the problem is not that big. It gets allot worse when using the phone as hotspot (windows 7 on 2 different laptops). The connection to internet gets lost for a few seconds on the pc. mailclients get disconnected, chatclients get disconnected etc etc.
I have the latest baseband (.423) and tried following clean installs:
-Pac
-Carbon
-stock .423
The problems remains thesame. My other phone (Galaxy GT-9300) works perfectly as a hotspot with thesame sim in thesame area.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?
thanks allot!
My HTC One (AT&T, stock) loses cell connection sporadically... like once every few days for an hour or so. During these episodes, my wife's iPhone (also AT&T) works just fine.
Rebooting the phone brings back cell connection.... but it's a huge problem, because I don't notice I have no cell connection, and have missed several calls and texts because of it.
It happened on 4.2 and I just got the update to 4.3 yesterday... and it happened again this morning.
Anyone know if there's a fix? It makes my smartphone into a pretty terrible phone if I can't rely on it :/
Hey guys, I just received my Note 5 today. But it's weird that my WiFi connectivity has issues. When I typed my passcode for WiFi, it was unable to connect and always flashing WiFi page. After couple seconds, it showed identification error(I'm sure that passcode is correct). It even cannot connect to WiFi without passcode. Any ideas?
I've had the exact same issues when I reset my phone. And I've done that a lot lately while trying to find out the issue with the 10sec unlock lag - which I seemed to have narrowed down to Android Wear and my LG G watch (possible Bluetooth issues)
To bypass the issue you have, I end up setting up the phone using 4G, then reconnecting wifi and it works...
What version N920I do you have? 32gb or 64gb?
