Yes I know I'm not a dev but I was experiencing some issues with the versions of twrp bundled in some of the posts and guides around here so I found 2.6.0.1 the latest recovery. Thought I'd share.

m7_u / ul ? then it would be ill-advised to use CWM 6.0.4.3
check the FAQ sticky thread, if it hasn't been updated/moved the info would still be in the last post
(please remember to never post questions in the sticky, if you have more questions post back here)

No it doesn't work with 4.4 ROMs and mentioned in the FAQ sticky thread
you'll get permission / set_metadata errors, best to use TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4
So, I've tried searching Google for other threads about this same issue but can't find any. Anyways, I installed TWRP Recovery (the latest one as of now) for my HTC One phone. I wanted to take it to the next level by installing Cyanogenmod several times already I've tried flashing the latest Snapshot of CM 11 for the HTC One M7. Everytime I try I get an error: "E: error executing updater binary in zip (zip file name)" I've heard some places you need clockworkmod for CM 11, but on the wiki the instructions are for TWRP
So, thanks in advance to anyone who helps me even the slightest. I hope my issue can get sorted.
As some added information incase anyone wants to know I did wipe the caches, dalvik and cache and I also wiped factory reset and wiped the system before flashing. I also didn't have zip verification checked.
Thanks

Well if it failed with twrp 2.7.0.8 I guess trying I newer version wouldn't hurt. Try with 2.7.1.2 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358561860
Also check the md5 of your cyanogenmod download. You can use this tool for that. http://www.winmd5.com

OMG! It worked! I'm now happily running the Cyanogenmod 11 snapshot! It did crash once, never happened again. But its a snapshot anyways.
Thanks so much!!!

Hey guys.
I am searching for a recovery that will work with that ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t/rom-t3054101 ?
or this? "cm-10.2.1-galaxysmtd" got it from here https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?de...td&type=stable
any suggestions?
I've searched the forums but all I found were some builds with embedded cm11 kernels.

Thank you for your effort!
but I am still confused.
Most of the versions of a custom recovery are not flashable over Odin (I did not mention this)
And the last link fpr the twrp is for the gt-I9001.
can you help me see clearly please?

Here is the deal,
I'll come to Düsseldorf (altstadt), then you buy me a Beer , instead you get the recovery package from me. ,
Just Kidding , Use this link and download whatever you need.
The included TWRP should be valid for both ROM you've Posted. Else you can use the second recovery included. Bonus : Stock ROM is also included.
Use following Steps:
1) Copy i9000_twrp2.2.1-recovery.zip to your SD card.
2) Use Odin to flash first recovery_i9000.tar
3) Use 3 button combo to boot to recovery, then flash i9000_twrp2.2.1-recovery.zip from there.
If anything goes wrong, then i9000_stock_rom is also included. You can use odin(also included) to flash it.
And, for such problem please post it always either here OR here .
Prost,

Philz already exists on SM-T110/111,but flashable with Odin,I propose flashable zip with CWM or TWRP
Link:https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862669576

I know I allready asked this question but is this link to a TWRP flashable zip of philz touch? Thank you and sorry for asking twice. This is breaking the XDA rules but I didnt find the answer in a search since the subject is concerning a zip downliad link. Also, did you make this? Because if you did, and it is a working TWRP flashable zip of Philze touch I really want to say thanks to you or whom ever dev is.

Yes !!!
Hey, I noticed the snapdragon sources were released a month ago while reading another thread, does that mean we are close to a camera fix? It's the only thing holding me back from buying this phone.

Please read and understand the twrp thread.
Then you would know the newest informations about TWRP, DRM and AOSP and why these things are not working.
You can ask these things there.
