(Solved)minicm10 flashing issue - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone
I'm on cm10lite for now & I wanna flashback to minicm (bugs with current rom ) as you know minicm10 have a kernel verifier and Rom prevents me to install .(I don't know what's wrong with nAa's new ROM & kernels)
So how to edit the ROM without having to downgrade the Kernel?(no pc)
Kernel nAa32- v6
I've seen the guide before but I can't find it right now.

Reflash ROM
I had a similar problem with my GingerDx v21
I re-flashed the ROM and it worked fine. No need to change your kernel.
Just do a factory wipe and reflash your ROM
doesn't help again error during connection -.-'' hate this.
I have the same problem, I haven't figured out: why?
It's so wrong.
This is the best kernel, but the wifi doesn't work. Youtube + android market kills the wifi immediately :S
I'm using Official 2.1-Update 1 and the Wifi really sux.

If this means you're still waiting for some help/answer ...
Let me lay it out to you: The CM7 Shakira ROM, developed by the FreeXperia Team, is NOT feature complete and since they ceased further development (only bug fixing as they see fit) it's not actively developed.
This ROM is by no means fit for everyday usage, nor is it free of bugs (on the contrary, that thing is buggy like hell).
You're better off using nAa's Kernel and MiniCM7 combo or any other Gingerbread custom ROM.

[Q] Couple of boot loader unlocking doubts...

Helloo Everybody..
I will be really grateful if someone found a solution to my problem...
I know that this is not a support site, but a developers world, but after searching and googling, i couldnt help my self.
Mods can close and delete this thread if they want.
My question is that if I flash a Gingerbread kernel(nAa or Alfs) on ECLAIR 2.1...wont it create problems..such as force closing or rebooting sort of problems??
Secondly I read SpydeX thread of unlocking bootloader..i got all the tools ready, but the thread doesnt mentions anything about entering into recovery via kernel on ECLAIR 2.1... the guide just tells that after flashing entr into recovery and flash the rom.
I tried this trick on my friends X8, but no success..
Thanxx in advance
If you flash a custom kernel at the eclair while you have locked bootloader, you will have bootloop(it wont boot, but you can easily fix it),if you have unlocked your bootloader it will be fine
As for your second question, you unlock your bootloader, you flash the kernel(which contain cwm),you enter recovery(cwm),and you flash the rom.

No he's got it wrong.
1. You can't flash custom kernels on a locked rom flashtool won't allow it.
2. Flashing a custom kernel on stock 2.1 will cause it to bootloop, what you'd normally do is enter recovery and flash a rom that works with the kernel.

No,users have reported that custom kernels work with stock rom(I remember very clear a user who used naa kernel with stock rom)
Maybe older versions...
If I'm wrong then I apologize

Problems here...

Hey guys... so, I wanted to install cm9 on my phone. And this is what I did. I flashed Naa ics kernel, and tried to flash minicm9 . I did a full wipe. And it didn't work. The log said something about I16. I don't know.
So,ive read that I should flash minicm 3.0.4 and wipe nothing then flash 3.0.5. And,no luck.
Please guys,I really need help. Please.
Thanks in advance.

Rom Installation aborts?
If yes this may cause by removing build.prop(or localprop), flash another rom (gingerbread recommended) then do wipes & try installing cm9 again.

yes, use a stock kernel gingerdx for the port. But when installing the rom not work :silly:
I already carry x8 custom roms the kernel but I have this problem with the stock kernel :fingers-crossed:
If you have unlocked bootloader, you need a stock kernel with modified ramdisk (what start adb at boot time), and check the logcat while the phone boot. Tip: use qtadb, with this app you get a real-time logcat window, and you can check what happen when the boot process stopping. (a typical error is an incompatible/missing binary or lib file)
