Hello
So I have a problem.
Im sitting in the car, my phone is in the carmount, and I get a call. I first have to press to answer the call and than turn on the loudspeaker... Meanwhile I do this, the other person has already said something. This is always an uncomfortable situation.
So is there a possibility to answer the call directly with the loudspeaker?
I'd really appreciate !
Im on ViperOne 2.1.0

this may be a dumb guess, but, make sure you don't have an active Bluetooth headset/speakerphone connection. your in-call audio may be getting redirected to the headset wipeout you realizing it
i found it happens alot with the galaxy series. Looked it up and just like theirs it was fixed with a batpull =] thanks for the help and concern guys
My father has this phone on tmobile... And is having major issues with phone not ringing and he can't hear caller when he answers calls. I run a gnex unlocked rooted running 4.2.1 Carbon rom. Will unlocking and rooting his phone help these issues. Or is this a known hardware issue with phone. Or will he have to get a new one... Thanx for any responses. New to thread live on gnex threads tho. Lol

Well I occasionally have this problem, but really rare. I am on root box 4.1 and the in call volume is outstanding, but still have the occasional problem of the phone not ringing. Could be pressing a button while its in his pocket/case or might just be a big with the phone

It is not a known problem with stock or rooted and custom rom. If the problem exist I suggest taking it back to store for replacement before going in rooting and custom rom as that voids warrentry and highly doubt rooting and custom rom can help it. That sounds like a flaw in hardware not software.

The vibrate does not work at all. Anyone else come across this with there phone?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I feel like the vibration on my phone is way weak, so maybe in the future, it might go out and it kinda scares me. But, I do like it's not a crazy vibration that the whole world can hear when it goes off. Quiet vibrate is good, but scary because it's almost too weak.

I recently got a second hand HTC One and flashed the GE ROM. Now using the same exact sim and network provider as my N4, the noise gate on the One is set too high for phone calls!
This basically means that when I'm talking to someone on the phone, if they are not talking loud enough, they are cut out all together. So when someone is really soft I hear nothing at all. When someone is on the edge I hear them ducking in and out. And when someone is taking loudly I hear it perfectly clear.
Call volume does not effect this issue, and it doesn't effect media in any way. So it's happening on the phone call before it gets to the OS. But after it gets to the phone.
Any ideas? It doesn't seem to be a know issue that I can see. Is it a hardware fault?

I have always had this trouble, and did not know why. Thought my service was shawty. Would love to find out if a fix is possible, as it can be a pain.

Good to know I'm not the only one. It must be something set by the hardware (or the firmware).
Are you can running HTC Sense or a custom ROM?

I have the same problem on ARHD

So It's got nothing to do with my ROM either. Maybe that's just the default that HTC wants you to use.
If someone can find any information on how to change this functionality, I think we'd all appreciate a link
