[Q] Stock recovery img

I have had a look around and cannot seem to find a stock recovery to flash on my device that works. I have a UK device on T-Mobile/Orange. If anyone can provide a link it would be greatly appreciated.
Posting your CID would help. Have you looked in the RUU/OTA/Nandroid thread? Sorry can't work out how to link to it in tapatalk but it's in the General forum and starts with [COLLECTION].
There's a couple UK nandroid backups in there. You can unzip and get the recovery.img from one of them

Thanks for the responses guys I will check all the suggestions and provide full details of my set up once I am home tonight.
More information
Right guys back home from work. What I was trying to do was return to stock to check out the latest update (as everyone else seems to be doing)
Here are the details of my phone
cid: ORANG001
Radio: 4A.13.3231.27
S-ON
RELOCKED (atm)
I thought I could just flash the stock htc recovery and then grab the OTA update as I have reverted to a back up of the original OS. I get as far as the initial reboot then the update fails due to CWM recovery.
I then tried to use the standard EU RUU for my baseband and that generates an error 133 incorrect device ID.
What I am looking for is either a way or getting the Stock Recovery or an RUU that will work on my phone.
Thanks again.

I flashed the recovery.img from the M7 CWM Nandroid Backup / CID ORANG001 / 1.28.61.7 but it is the CWM recovery not stock. Do I need to use the boot.img??
The other link seemed to be a TWRP recovery.img
Thanks.

You can`t do anything atm with Hboot 1.54.000. You cannot downgrade to a 4.1.2 RUU.

Use adb sideload to copy the rom onto your sdcard. There's a number of how to threads on xda. Then you can flash it from cwm.

[Q] Root without custom recovery?

Can somebody please show me how to install root without custom recovery? Every tutorial I find, it explains about installing a custom recovery to get root and it's getting annoying.
Can anybody show me how to root a htc one without using a custom recovery? Thanks!

[Q] - android L update problem

Hi everyone. I've got this odd problem with updating my HTC m7 to android L. I downloaded the file with 7.19.401.102 firmware number and then flashed the stock recovery from 6.09.401.111 stock ROM which I'm currently running on my phone. I started the installation and after some time the red triangle showed up and after restarting the update file was deleted... My phone is rooted with ElementalX kernel... Have I done something wrong? What should I do before updating(unrooting, going completely stock...)? Is this the right firmware for my phone?(my cid and mid are mid:711000 and cid: HTC__J15), if not, can someone tell me the correct firmware?
Can someone make a nand backup from 7.19.401.101 and upload it somewhere?
I'd appreciate any help... Thanks

You must be 100% stock rom (stock /system and /data/preload) + stock recovery.
restore your phone using a stock rom or nand for 6.09.401.111

Should I relock my bootloader as well? BTW I'm S-ON.
One more question, can you check if the firmware I'm running matches my cid and mid?

Yes it matches... you are s-on btw how could this not match:
You can't change cid
you can't change mid
you can't change firmware base.

Thanks for responding so quick. One more question, should I stay unrooted after flashing nand backup until I've updated my phone?

yes you should. anyway you 'll need to update supersu once updated. Otherwise root will not work.
So
restore your phone to stock rom + stock recovery
update
flash twrp
flash supersu 2.16

sorry I kept asking about the firmware, it's because I was using a costume ROM for a period of time and I had no band backup from the stock ROM and I had forgotten my stock firmware number...
Anyway, thank you very much sir
I will try and report back
Should I also flash the firmware zip of my stock ROM or it's not needed?

if your firmware is already 6.09.401.111 (fastboot getvar all) you don't need to relfash it, just flash the 6.09.401.111 rom.
