I just purchase Sony Xperia SP (C5303), the problem is when I am on call with my bluetooth Plantronics Voyager Pro+. All notification such as Facebook and Line will beep during the call. And when I hang-up the call. There is a very loud beep come to my bluetooth (Even I use the handset, the loud beep still occur.) This bluetooth working well with other mobile and those mobile such as Motorola Atrix 2 and Blackberry Curve did not have any loud beep after hand up the call when using bluetooth or phone itself. Is there any problem to turn off all notification to bluetooth and keep the notification at the phone. The bluetooth will warn only when there is call waiting but all notification and IM will not get into the call during the conversation.

i had the same priblem too, this beep made my ear hurt.
The solution i for Me :
i installed a app called volume control+
in The app theres setting for Bluetooth unit only. in lower right corner.
tap that and set notification to 1.
Well I get that beep sound in the ear piece as well, it's annoying but that's how Sony decided to notify you during call. I would still say the software build is poor

After listening to musis using a bluetooth stereo headset, the phone will not ring when I receive a call - it's as if the speaker is muted. The screen shows me an incoming call.
The sound is not muted and the phone is not in vibrate/silent mode. The headset is off.
Anyone else have this problem?
PS I also get the sound lag when listening to music over bluetooth.

Maybe some newbie question, but i didn't find any answer that works for the Xperia SP.
I would like to :
- remove the beep when ending a call. Especially really annoying in my car with BT. The sound brokes my ear everytime, i can't stand it anymore.
- understand how to manage phone sound level while in BT in my car.
Let me explain for the last query.
I didn't have all that issues with my former Nokia N8, in fact it's like the phone uses the last volume level setting I make, for my car. If I watched a video and put the volume to 100%, then even if i mute my phone, in my car the volume will be at 100%. I can also say that it updates all volumes in my phone too. Like the call volume level will be 100%. This is really annoying. With my Nokia N8, if i enjoyed a song at 8am and put high level, it did not change the volume level for incoming call. But with the Xperia SP, it is.
Whatsoever, the BT sounds are too high everytime, especially calling tonality, and end call beep.
How to remove them ?

Was very very annoyed earlier when in a Skype audio call via earpiece (not as a speaker) that my P20 Pro rang down my ear at full volume when an incoming phone call came in.
I am very careful with how loud I listen to music etc and it is annoying that such a bug would send such a loud pulse of sound down ear sealed to the top "speaker"
Is this a hardware bug ?
Or Skype software bug not registering to android it's being used for a call ?
Or an Emui bug not recognising phone is being used for a non speaker phone call ?
I can't find anyway of disabling top "speaker" for incoming ringtone ?

Hi, My XZ3 bottom speaker has suddenly stopped working. The top speaker (earpiece) is working fine while watching videos or making a phone call. I mostly use wireless handsfree so it is not bothering me that much.
But, when I turn on the speaker mode during phone call or while having a video call on WhatsApp, the top speaker has no sound. Thus, I can't hear other person.
The issue I think is that the Phone app and WhatsApp uses only bottom speaker for video calls.
So, is there any method to enable top speaker or stereo mode in Whatsapp video call and Phone call?
FYI, temproot is enabled on my device SOV39.

I just got my Pixel 7 last friday after being on iPhone for 5 years. Loving it, really a great device.
My problem is answering phonecalls on the device when my bluetooth headset is connected. On iPhone the call is routet to the device when using the answering button on the phone and routed to the headset when you press the butten on the headset.
I often leave the headset on my desk without turning it off. If i get a call while not at my desk i have to first switch from headset to phone before taking the call. I would like to change this so that i can get the call directly to the phone when not using my headset.
Is there a way to get the Pixel to behave in the same manner as the iPhone?
