Hi guys,
I have a strange issue. Although the GT-S5570 is working, download mode is working also. When I flashed the original froyo firmware the stock recovery mode was working fine, but when I installed the tass clockwork recovery mode(via Odin), the Home+Power doesnt work. It gets stuck to the samsung logo. I tried Home+Power+Up Volume and I get a "Ramdump" notiifcation. Dont know if someone has a suggestion.
thanks
Thanks to RicardoQ5, I did a little search and while the mobile phone was upgraded to gingerbread, its initial version was FROYO. Just installed the Froyo.tar

Hello there!
I have stock 2.2 Froyo Nordic with Speedkernel 12i and lagfix installed on my Galaxy S. Download and recovery mode worked out of box, but now it suddenly doesn't work anymore although I'm sure that I push the right buttons and use the right procedure. Someone experienced this before, or have an answer?
if u have root than download quick boot and run it

[Q] Boot Loop with no recovery or download mode (R&D mode fixed, stuck in Boot Loop)
HI Guys
Need some help, I've been searching the previous post of similar problems but nobody seems to have my issue.
The story so far, I was updating my wife's GalaxyS i9000 Kernel with the latest version of CF-Root. (It was running stock version of Eclair 2.1) I couldn't get into download or recovery mode before the flash, so i used ADB to force it into Download mode then used Odin to update the PDA file. It all worked ok then i rebooted the phone and that is where the problem started. It just gets stuck rebooting to the GalaxyS GT-i9000 Screen over and over and over again. I've tried the 3 button recovery or download option and that doesn't work. So i am at a loss everyone. Any Ideas? I was thinking i might need to make up a usb jig.
Any help would be much appreciated as this is my wife's phone so you can understand the stress!
Sounds like you are the lucky owner of an i9000 with a faulty SBL which prevents you using the 3 button combo.
If you can't get download mode you'll need a jig to recover it, then look into this to fix the 3 button combo.
Great it worked! So 3 button combo works, Do you have any ideas on how to get the phone out of the boot loop that it is stuck on without wiping user data like sms and stuff of the phone?
You were running rooted 2.1 correct? What did you flash in Odin that broke it?
*Might* be as simple as reflashing the right CF-root for your firmware.
Thats were i went wrong, i tried to root from stock to CF-Root-XX_UNK_JVQ-v3.7-CWM3RFS so i've been trying to find a stock version to go back too.

Is there a way to flash to Froyo from eclair without losing any data?
Hi, So I have a rooted galaxy tab and i tried to flash a rom using the clockworkmod(app) which you get with root.
afterwards when i flashed the rom the tablet went into the recovery mode and restarted and now is stuck on a bootloop, no matter whatever i try the tablet is not getting into the clockworkmod recovery....
please tell me how do i fix this problem and how do i install a working clockworkmod recovery
Thank you.
please tell if i missed out anything.
The only mode that i can go into is the download mode
i'd say you need to get into download mode...(vol down button and power button at same time), flash your stock rom and kernel and start the process all over again. if you need more help, you're gonna need to tell us what kind of tab ya got, what you weren on before you flashed, etc. all is not lost, hang in there.

i was wondering if it worth installing my girlfriend have s5830 but im looking for a stable and smooth rom... have you tried cm11 on this device and if is slow or laggy?
IOP its not worth. Once you install it will be running good but once you install 5 or more apps it will become slow.

Use customstock roms or cm7, cm9 or cm10.x... cm11 is still under development

I completely agree with @aurisltu and @Viper The Ripper. CM 11 KitKat is still under development so its not completely stable. Also installing few apps can make it slow and laggy. But developers are currently working on it to make it stable and smooth. So you can check back in few months. In the mean time, you can go with CM 7.2 roms as they are much more stable and smooth. My personal suggestion,

Can you boot into the Download Mode? To boot into the Download Mode, hold Vol Down+ Home+ Power button until you see the yellow "Downloading..." text on the screen. If you can go to Download Mode, then you can solve the problem by reinstalling the stock rom using odin. Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin. Go to "Preparations" section to download all the necessary files including drivers.
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
Once installed, go to recoverymod and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,

You usually get the "setup connection" error when you are in the Emergency Download Mode instead of Download Mode. You go to Emergency Download Mode by holding down Volume Up + Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button in which it loads a screen that says "Emergency Download Mode" and you go to Download mode by holding down Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button in which it does load the correct download screen with the yellowish message that say "Downloading…". Please make sure you are going to the Download Mode. Then try to flash again. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
