After I installed towel root my Play Store wont work. It seems to work fine for a second and then I get an error message saying the program has stopped unexpectedly. Even worse once I hit ok on the error message it reapers every 2 seconds. This makes it impossible to operate the phone until I freeze the Play Store using Titanium. I've tried to reinstall the Play Store and the same thing happens all over again every time. Also, I've cleared the Google services as suggested in other blogs but still does the same thing. It sucks not having the Play Store on the S5. PLEASE HELP!!

Did you do any modifications or installed xposed?
Try deleting your google account, under settings/accounts, then adding it again.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes I did install xposed. Also I did delete my accounts and all the simple stuff like deleting app info on the play store, google apps, etc.
I am rooted and all has been fine for a few weeks. A couple days ago I started getting "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped," every few seconds. On boot-up I get "Unfortunately the process com.google.process.location has stopped."
I've uninstalled updates to the play store, hangouts, and google play services, as well as diabling them. I have also fixed permissions through TWRP reccovery, with no luck. Has this happened to anyone else on the new Moto G?
I wouldn't mind going back to stock and losing root if it will fix things, but I'd rather not do that if it won't make it any better.
just do a full reset, if u not did anything to system...

I have a HTC One M7 with the Venom rom installed and it seems to be causing an issue with my phone calls. Whenever i try to answer a phone call i cannot hear anything on the other end. I can fix this by rebooting my phone but i would rather not do that for every phone call. Any suggestions on what i can do?

There were a lot of users experiencing this very problem recently. And the cause seemed to be something to do with the latest round of Google app updates.
Many successfully fixed this problem by clearing app caches for Google Play Services and Google Services Framework.
Go to Settings> Apps then move to the All tab. Find Google Play Services and Google Services Framework and clear cache and data for these two apps then reboot. :fingers-crossed:

Awesome I will give this a shot and see if it works. Thanks for the tip.
I had some app updates today so started them going but after a couple it crashed and since then I haven't been able to open the Play Store. Even after clearing the dalvik-cache and rebooting, I get popups saying it's crashed as soon as it finishes booting and if I try to open it, so I've got no way of getting into it.
Anyone know how to fix this rather major problem?
I thought this had fixed itself for a minute, as I was able to open Play Store and start updating apps but it crashed again after doing three and gives the same error when trying to open it again.
It keeps doing it. Once a day I try it and it lets me update a couple of apps before crashing and after that I keep getting popups telling my it's crashed at random times, like when starting Boom Beach.
Please help me fix it if you can as it's making my Moto G unusable and I haven't got a clue what to do myself, as the only thing I did before it started was let Play Store update my apps.
Go to settings apps all and uninstall google play store updates. Reboot phone and then try play store again.

That has stopped it constantly crashing thanks. Unfortunately, it's now not displaying anything under Installed, where it would normally shows the apps needing updates. All still shows everything as far as I can tell. Ah, I seem to have fixed it by triggering an app to update under All and now Installed shows stuff. And now it's crashed again!
After re-opening it, it was still downloading and managed to do a few more updates, albeit stalling a few times, before crashing again and now I can't re-open it at all.
EDIT: I tried deleting the cache for Google Play, which didn't help and then the Data, which has got it working again. Installed is blank again and after triggering an app to update from All only shows that app under Installed but as long as it populates when there's updates available that's fine. However, now it's crashing again so it seems that doing that wasn't the answer.
It turned out to be Obb 2 SD causing the problem. Play Store would update a couple of apps but when it tried to update a game which I'd moved with Obb 2 SD and would crash and couldn't be re-started. Once I disabled Obb 2 SD it fixed the problem. I just need to work out another way to move my large game files, might try Link2SD as that apparently handles moving Obb files now.
I started having problems yeaterda. I was getting a error for the play store when using play music. So I went to the play store and got a connection Error I cleared play store cache and data. Then I tried reopening the play store and got signed in but I got a force close. So I tried removing my google account from my phone then I added it back. Same thing happened I signed into play store and it force closed. I've tried inatalling a new rom and it wont go past the settings menu even wirh different gapps packages. I'm stuck I need help please I've never ran into this issue before and its annoying. I can use everything else but play store Hooefully someone can help.
You will have to do a clean install of your ROM. Flashing a GAPPS package over other GAPPS almost always breaks something.
OK... You mentioned that it didn't work in the Chroma thread. It's closed atm.
Can you be more specific on what errors you got when using play music?
Also, I want to apologize for anything you took as disrespect. Let's start fresh and see if we can get you back up.
Are you using an outdated layers theme?
