orange blinking light - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ok my phone was on 14% so i stuck it in the charger . now the phone has totally turned off and wont turn on again . its plugged in and still flashing orange
sometimes this phone has gone from 8/9% to 1% or even turn itself off within seconds
anyone had this or seen anything like this

The fact that the led is blinking is a good sign. Let it charge for a few hours and retry.

Galaxy Note stuck at battery logo

I put my phone on charge and after a while it started showing as phone is being charged and being disconnected from charge continously. I switched the phone off to charge the battery which is now fully charged.
Now problem is phone wont restart....it just a grey battery logo and then a green battery logo with 6 dots underneart, vibrates and restarts....and the cycle continues. It would boot into recovery but wont let the phone start.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks
Sorry close the threat please.....got it sorted.
The charging cable was wet when I plugged it now. I have tried drying the phone with a hair dryer and now it's working fine.

[Q] X8 won't charge

Greetings,
My father owns my old Xperia X8 which is rooted with nAa14 kernel and PrimeHD ROM. He had problems charging it so he though it's from the USB cable and bought a new one today. The X8 "died" (left with absolutely no battery) so he started charging it with the new cable, the LED turned on and the phone started charging and after 4-5 hours charging he tried to turn on the phone and there was no battery (you know when your phone has no battery the LED blinks a few times when you try to turn it on). He plugged it again and instead of the LED turning on it started blinking every 1-2 sec in red-orange color. The phone is completely dead. Tried to reflash 2.1 with Flashtool but nothing....
The phone worked today and he just turned it off and that's it. Also he tried charging it into my computer and still nothing.
I have that problem too ( First it was blinking red light for 3 times and phone cant turn on,with chatger ny phone has turn on,but after while phone stops charging... I have flash 2.1 rom.but after that charger and usb doesnt work. I try with 3 differrent chatgers but doesnt work. On net i found that someone write that red led light means that phone was in water... But it didnt have,it didnt rain and nothing.. Its really that phone has been turned off and stayed there for some time because i got xperia j. I try everything... I buy new battery... But phone wont charge, usb not working... ((
Is maybe problems that custom kernel and roms are make this bugs? Because we all have some bugs with charging who are on custom roms,kernels... Now the bug has become bigger.

Red light and nothing...

Hi guys,
I have a very strange problem. My Xperia Z was discharged and when I was connect it to charger the I've got permanent red light. Even after disconnecting from the charger the red light still occurs. I cant turn on the phone!! Please help!!!
Just keep it on the charger for a few hours,it should spring back to life:laugh:
This happens cuz there isn't enough charge left in the battery for the screen to turn on(maybe,i think so) and show the battery meter. When it gets recharged to a certain level(around 1%) it will hop back to life.
Yes, true. Strange bug...

Is my battery fried?

Battery issue-seems to be unique. Didn't get phone extremely wet but it was being used in a bit of light rain yesterday when this issue surfaced. Phone died at some point in my pocket on the way into office from car. Set it to charge and, since then, i get flashing orange light with the battery/lightning bolt indicator-in perpetuity . Tried messing with all kinds of button combinations on and off charger and nothing has changed-flashing orange light w/battery indicator (empty-no green or percentage). Phone doesn't even seem to heat up even after hours on charger. Any help would be greatly appreciated, my m7 getting to feel extremely dated on day two.

Try holding power volume up and down for 2 minutes. It's supposed to reset the battery charge logic

Kind of an old.trick but a good one,
Go to: data/system
Delete: batterystats.bin
Plug in phone and let battery charge (if it will)
When battery is fully charged dont un plug your phone, go to data/system again and delete batterystats.bin again. Reboot your phone.
When the light turns green again then unplug the phone. This is basically a manual reset for batterystats.
Would love to try this but I can't boot into recovery whatsoever- almost a month later and I'm still stuck with: empty battery charging emblem and a flashing red light in perpituity

Has anyone else seen this before?

First time I've seen this.might want to take it in to Sprint. They might exchange it for you
I appreciate the advice- this would be my second exchange in a year so Im tentative to take it in and TEP( or whatever its current equivalent is) seems to get more restrictions/rules every year. Phone will work now if its plugged in but the second it loses connection with external power source -dies immediately.

Moto X Help Urgent

hey Guys wasnt using my X2 yesterday night i am tried to charge phone it showed green led for few minutes and the started charging when it reached 2% of charging i am tried to turn on the phone didnt turned on it swithced off now today i am tried to charge it again if i connect charger it does show green led brighter for few minutes and then led light being dimmer after 1 or 2 minutes phone doesnt charge what could be the issue battery is dead or charger problem? i am confused alot please help me
Make sure you're using the factory charger and test it against another device to ensure it can charge something. I've ran into this with my Nexus 7 after a complete battery drain and charging it from a computer for 15 minutes and then turning it on seems to work. Even the Nexus support pages recommend this. Give those things a try. Make sure everything is fully plugged in too.
I am using factory charger and tried with 10 different chargers just green led shows up for exactly 60 SEC's and being dim and led turns off the phone doesn't charged even connected to PC even I tried charging powerbank still no luck

Plug it in and leave it plugged in overnight. Be patient.
No use brother

There was a thing with BlackBerry playbooks doing this, the solution was 'stack charging'. Plug it in, wait for the green light to dim then switch the power off and then back on again. Repeat several times and then leave it to charge normally (but dont try to boot it) for a few hours
Tried all the possible ways I think battery is dead
