http://mugen.co/samsung/samsung-galaxy-note-2-n7100/mugen-power-6400mah-extended-battery-for-samsung-galaxy-note-2-with-battery-door.html
I do know the fact that there are reviews of the Mugen battery, but most are only saying whats great about the battery. I want to give every perspective of this battery for the fellow users of this community.
So receiving the Mugen Power Battery I can say, the first drain (56%) lasted me from 9:30 AM to 8:09 PM at 15%. Which is the beginning of the cycle. I liked that reassurance that 50% was like 100% of a stock battery. I have used other Extended Batteries, such as Gorilla Gadgets 6400 mAh, Hyperion, and Onite. Each one I had to send back due to the fact that each FAILED to even last me a whole day (possibly just my experience).
FEATURES
I love the fact that it has NFC Capability (works even better than stock NFC chip on stock cover) but as well as the kick stand in the back. It gives it more of a USER friendly/iPhone killing feature. (dont kill me apple)
SHIPPING
The shipping of this unit took about 10 days which is what it was advertised. I would've liked the option to pay more and get a faster shipping but at the end I received the unit. (Free shipping from Hong Kong 10-15 business days).
OVERALL FEEL
The plastic back cover actually feels like premium quality plastic (weird as it sounds). I feel that if Samsung did make an extended battery back cover, this would be an equivalent quality.
STUFF
Now i know the Zerolemon has a 9300 mAh battery for our device and is a monster. Especially at the cost of $40 USD. However, I am not bashing Zerolemon, it doesn't support NFC capability. Now i know most do not use this feature and could care less about it, but being a High School student and College Student, I send files, pictures, voice memos, etc. to my other peers through NFC and it is a must.
CONS
yes of course this unit has its flaws.
-Came with a leather case that does not seem to be able to fit pockets unless you are carrying a satchel(murse) or a trench jacket.
-Kickstand may be vulnerable to flinging around in the future
-Does not come with any protection officially by Mugen (not many customers must be happy)
-Backdoor could've been designed a little bit better, material is great, just the design could be more User Friendly.
-Cost $99.50 USD which is ridiculous other batteries such as ZL are more than half that price and has more mAh, so saying that the NFC capability was another $59 USD
PROTECTION HACK
Pics below, but they are metal (Aluminum) bumpers that cost around $12-20 on eBay and Amazon that can protect the sides of the phones. I think it looks great and makes me feel a little bit more confident holding the device.
One Month Review of Durability
This phone has lasted me two days of use everytime. I know thats not that much of a woo factor. However, i am a college student. That being said i utilize this device more than 300 times a day. Not only do i use it multiple times im using it for long period of times searching for data or watching youtube videos. Basically replacing my laptop when in public. Now this battery doesnt only save me time by not charging it every time i come home. It also has this nfc chipset that is so accurate that i use it everyday transferring files from my note to my friends note or s3 or s4. This battery makes this for me a beautiful device.

Great review! Good job!
I just want to add a few more thing, something that came from a discussion with Mugen rep on this forum when I was trying to make a point about the price. Those of us who live in the US are fortunate enough to have a lot of choices where to buy a battery. The choices get narrowed down in UK, Germany, Italy. But for the rest of the world you are out of luck where some companies are not dealing with Amazon/ebay local to other countries. Beside NFC support, another thing that sets Mugen apart is their global coverage where they will ship it to you around the globe.
Also, unlike most of the other companies who license HK batteries and re-brand and sell it under their own quality control with a warranty, Mugen designs their own stuff in-house and has a dedicated R&D. Plus, when they say 6400 mAh, it's accurate and actually a bit more then double capacity of stock 3100 mAh.
Excellent pics and info.
I'm curious about how the reception is with the metal bumper. Some would say that it blocks the antenna in some way from receiving signal properly.
Have you seen any difference from no bumper to bumper?

Day 1 of cycling battery. Woke up at 9:30 AM and it is now 10:07PM with 72% left. I was in medium use didnt play much games but was on instagram web browsong and texting. 5 minute phone calls and emailing.

Its good to know the metal bumper case doesn't affect reception.

Update 2:
Well all i can say is... you get what you pay for. I paid 30-40 bucks on other batteries, excluding the Zerolemon battery. And i can tell you that the price will give you reassurance that you will get a premium battery. But i wouldve insisted around $75 USD or less. Not $100 USD. now i can tell you this. I left the phone overnight in standby without charging and woke up from 67% to 65% only 2% is gone. Running Tweaked 2.5 with Neak 1.6 kernel. Look at screenshots below to see my day of use. Only used around 30% total today and i did use it with actual intention to run the battery down.

there's no real tutorial needed because it's so simple lol. rip off the contacts on the back of your stock cover, glue the contacts to your new cover then just use copper tape to connect the contacts on the back of your device to it.
i dont want to highjack his thread though, PM me if you have further questions.

Update for 2 weeks of use:
The battery life definitely gets better after finishing the cycle. I was out of town and thought what the heck i dont need a charger just for two days. I didnt take a screen shot so you have to trust me on this one. 2 days and 2 hours with 8 hours of screen time. Thats including no wifi spots or good reception for that matter.

Without a doubt you will get a better bang-per-buck with ZL, higher capacity and 2.5 cheaper price, but with ZL you lose access to NFC and have a big more weight (maybe 40g or so?). Plus, ZL is about to release a new rugged cases. With Mugen you can still have NFC access, so its a big deciding factor for those who still need it. Also, keep in mind there are other double capacity batteries, such as Hyperion 6200 mAh for $18.99 on amazon (plus $9.99 honeycomb tpu case which goes on top of their battery cover). I haven't used Hyperion but read they really improved their product since S3 and Note 2 batteries supposed to be on par with Anker (which unfortunately stopped selling 6200 mAh). So you have choices, although you have to consider that Mugen will have THE BEST quality, and extra money is because they have their own R&D and international support and ship worldwide (other vendors are tied up to their "amazon" territories or ebay).
So, I would start by deciding if you do or don't need NFC. If it's part of your daily routine, then ZL is out of the question. Otherwise, it will be the best value. Maybe wait for a few days when they supposed to announce their rugged case. That can persuade your opinion as well

Regarding dimensions...I took para from the zl thread
So let's start with dimensions to give you an idea of how triple capacity translates into footprint increase. Just for the reference, original Samsung OEM 3100 mAh battery is 75 mm x 56 mm x 5.6 mm (2.95" x 2.18" x 0.22") and weight of 54g (1.9oz). The new ZL9300 is 110.8 mm x 71.6 mm x 6.2 mm (thinner side) / 12.9 mm (stacked up side) -> 4.36" x 2.82" x 0.24" (thin) / 0.5" (thicker side). The weight of ZL9300 is 166g (5.9oz), and together with TPU case your Note 2 will clock in at 330g (11.7oz).

To reply to your IM and the question above, thickness of your phone will be the same with Mugen and ZL because triple capacity doesn't mean triple thickness since they spread/extend their 3rd battery. I guess you can see either of these batteries will double thickness of your phone, and then depending on case you use it can get bulkier. Mugen uses battery case and you might want to get additional tpu case on top of it (not sure it those honeycomb ones will fit?). With ZL you will not have a battery cover but rather a thinner tpu case that will server as battery cover and a case. Not sure how thick their rugged case going to be, but it will be dual layer.
In my opinion if your main requirement is to extend battery life and to save some money and you don't care about NFC, ZL will be a better choice for you, boss!

Hiya, I just purchased the 3600 mAh Mugen Power extended battery and the case it came with doesn't seem to have an antenna built into it. Would it be possible to fix on a thin strip of metal to the case and have it touch the connectors on the phone? If so, which metal would give the best reception or are the antennas more complex than just a line of wire? Thanks for any info!
mugen power accessories are really bad quality... i would buy it. if you do it yourself you can damage yourbdevice by short circuit...

Hmm I need to rectify this mistake. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. After the initial few days of no responses I stopped monitoring this thread. I was at the beach when my roommate let me know the package had arrived. I asked him to open it and that's the conclusion he gave me when I asked. In the photos on the website you can't tell exactly so out of frantic worry and to find a solution I posted on here via my phone.
The truth is it's a pretty damn good battery. There is an antenna in the back cover and I'm not really sure why my friend thought there wasn't. Reception seems to be the same even though the antenna is bigger? Or maybe its around the same size if the stock back cover has it hidden in the plastic. The Mugen Power back case covers it with black tape. That aside, the cover feels fairly sturdy, though it could be improved a bit. Maybe some self modification would resolve that issue. It makes a bit more noise when you squeeze it than the stock cover but it doesn't feel like its going to come off or fracture.
As for the battery it seems to last me on average 40 hours before I feel the need to charge it. I'd say it isn't used heavily, more like my old phone where I just sent texts all day, called a few people and listened to music for a good number of hours. The longest I've had it go was 57 hours after letting it completely die. All in all I am quite satisfied aside from a few minor complaints about the case.
Once again I apologize about this, I jumped the gun. Also, the website I purchased it from http://www.pdaphone-battery.com will deliver if you order from them. I was worried it was a scam site since it looks extremely ghetto and no confirmation email or tracking number was sent to me after purchase. But as I said the shipping was speedy and they did send me what I ordered. They don't use https though which bugged me, however the paying part used PayPal so that was acceptable.
One more picture for better reference. I'll post a comparison picture of stock vs extended batter cover sizes if people are interested.
@Flappyraccoon
can we see inside the back cover/door...part of the signal ...TQ
You mean the bare antenna under the tape? Sure, I'll try to get pics up later today for ya.
Sorry but looks like a brick. What´s the weight of it now? Hope you´re satisfied.
I only pulled it back far enough so you could see what the antenna was made out of. Hope that is enough for ya. As for the second picture, when you look at it and feel with your fingers the antenna (I'm assuming its made from the same thin metal) is laid out in the path of the red line. It ends at the yellow line.
As for the phone brick, its not much heavier at least in my opinion. It also fits into my hand and doesn't wiggle around as much. This is because it fills in the gap between my hand and the phone. For me that is wonderful, maybe not for you .
Thats great news!
But I'm more excited about another battery - HLI-DesireZSL. It is originaly made for Desire Z, but MUGEN guys say its perfect in IS! It has 1800mAh, but use the standart HTC cover.
yoobau brand is another great battery ! but not come with higher mAH yet !

Been using the 3600 Mugen for almost 3 weeks. I agree with Flappyraccoon that the phone fits into my hand better and feels less flimsy. I've dropped it less and reception difference is unnoticeable, but I live in a decent service region.
But the thin stock case does give me the appearance of having more sleek technology, and there's nothing like a dying battery at the end of one day's use for an excuse to stop talking with my girlfriend :$
I get about the same time out of it as Flappyraccoon. So much more comfortable using my phone whenever I want without worrying about later that evening. Easy to do a daily top up still but at my convenience, not the phone's urgency!

QCell uses small cells, and shims to make up the space... or at least they used to, when selling the GS3 extended batteries. Maybe they ordered the wrong part and needed to break even... I don't care - selling an undersized battery with a regular rating is a scam type thing.
That probably explains his performance issue. Fortunately, I have bought a ton of assorted batteries, and am not afraid to open them up. I also use a battery analyzer (CBA-IV Pro) to test capacities. I can say, QCell's Note 2 standard battery is what it promises.
Right now, I've tested about 5 GN2 batteries, but they're all standard. I don't recommend thinking about mugen...
For the GS3, they charge $88 for a "4600mAh" battery that performs slightly worse (4250mAh) than a $13 Anker battery(4360mAh). They've been doing that type of stuff for a while. I remember a few years ago there was another guy on xda that had a CBA and performed reviews... one of the last things he ever did was get into it with Mugen... I don't think it's beyond suspicion that they killed him, so my time might be limited here...although I'm not making any accusations...
There are other good batteries for the GN2... I've tested the Anker and Hyperion. Both good, but the hyperion item from amazon has 2 batteries instead of anker's one.

Seidio has a case on Amazon ASIN: B0097PFU1I (sorry, cant use links yet). I see someone from another forum I follow that really likes it.
I ordered a Onite extended battery and it arrived today. I noticed that the battery door didn't fit on there right, until I put a great deal of force to get it to snap on. I feel very confident with the quality of the door, as it DOES INCLUDE NFC, and doesn't feel like its going to fall out.
I finally got the QCell battery. I think this is the thread that prompted me to buy it... I see why QCell only shows the back of the cover in the amazon pictures - the back plates don't have NFC. Anyhow, the battery is in the charger and once it's charged I'll put it in the battery analyzer and see what's up.

this pulled up a GS3 case
I had a QCell extended battery for my Galaxy S II. It did provide better battery life. It was listed as 3600mAh. I don't know if it really has as much juice as advertised, but for the price I'm ok with it if it was less as long as it gave me a noticeable boost (and it did).
Now that I have the Note II I gave it to my nephew for his S2. He's on his phone ALL DAY and kills his battery fast. He happy now the bettery last him much longer.
I'd give this one a try before I spend a mint on Mugen. Heck for the price of Mugen I could buy 4 of these.

Let us know how that Onite battery works for you, I like that you say it has NFC.
I have two Standard Samsung batteries, so I don't really need an extended battery. But who know if it give a substantial boost and has NFC I may consider getting one just in case I have a LONG trip or something. For the price it can't hurt.
I just ordered the Hyperion, anker, and EZOpower extended batteries to review. Whichever has NFC and the best price of those is probably going to be a good bet. They were for the S3.
NFC chip is on the battery cover not the battery.
Yeah... and not all of them have NFC. The QCell doesn't.
Do you guys have any further reviews for those batteries? Really considering on getting one and wanted to see what you would suggest.
Hey guys, lets make a thread about recommendations for cases, screen protectors, car adapters and such.

1800mAh for $6 after shipping. That's a steal!
Edit: after closer inspection, i'm a bit skeptical. i think it's for the original exhibit, and because of our name change, the seller was probably unaware and accidently listed T679. just my theory... unless they use the same battery??

Some people might not want external charging and just want to use what's available in their phone's battery. I got over 2 days of normal usage without charging in-between with that battery.

XDA must be getting buggy again, on my display it shows i quoted IRX120
Edit
Hmmm I will try an explain the reasoning behind that statement in hopes that maybe some good will come of it. .
When a post shows a quote its fairly easy to determine that the post is directed to the person being quoted. If the post has a question most of the time it wont matter who replies the author will appreciate the reply, if the question is appropriately answered. Ofcourse its always a good idea to look at the context of any post for there may be reasons why it is being directed to a single individual.
If we look at my first post we can see i quoted IRX120. The reasoning being is he says, or atlest implies to have personal experience with a company that sells "extended" batteries (may have just been hearsay, that would have been clarified). Now you may not realise this but there are atlest some dangers in shopping online. And if you find someone who can vouche for a company, that they can make a claim to have had a possitive experience with a company, well that could be about as good as gold. Ofcourse we need to look at the person making said claim but given the situation is seems reasonably safe to take IRX120s word for it.
Now no doubt in your own way you were just trying to "help". Ive seen many people (my self included) in this exact situation just try an help. What usually happens, in this exact situation, is the person just comes off sounding like an arrogant assss. Ofcourse that has never helped anyone i am aware of. Has it ever helped you?
Btw here are a few af the problems of shopping online http://www.forbes.com/sites/abegarv...ngers-of-online-shopping-precautions-to-take/

What case do you recommend for the Galaxy Exhibit? I don't like the blue back cover, so I want to cover it with a black case. Also, do you use a screen protector of your Exhbit?

screen protectors are a waste of money, i have my phone now over a year, and my screen looks better then the rest of the phone lol. i have not yet found a case that i like for our phone.
This is the case I use. Might not be pretty, but it does the job.

I haven't noticed any heat issues with this case either. In fact, that might even explain the honeycomb design. I've always kind of wondered if it was there for a functional purpose, or just looks. Maybe it's something to do with heat dissipation.
Not sure where else to find a case like this (maybe eBay or one of those mall kiosks) but mine originated from my carrier. They called it the Affinity skin.
Mine is almost identical except it does not have the honeycomb design just flat

About the extended ebay batteries. I got one last winter 1800mah. Turns out it lasts less than the original battery. I now use the original, and keep the "extended" one as a spare just in case I run out and don't have time to plug my phone into my laptop's usb.
I guess YMMV, but from my experience you get what you pay for

i know everyone probably heard this tip for batter life, "turn off wifi when not in use" . when i read it, i was like blah blah blah. i went ahead and tried it, WOW what a difference ! i went from having 7 to 10 hours standby , to 40 hours. that tip on this phone really works well. i think it only works when you are in a no wifi area with wifi off. basically, searching for a wifi that isnt there REALLY drains the battery bigtime.

This is my 2nd Android phone, and ever since my first, I quickly got myself in the habit of manually toggling Bluetooth, Wifi, and GPS. Bluetooth and GPS are always off unless I'm in the car. As soon as I leave work or home, I turn my Wifi off. It's more or less second nature for me to do it at this point. And when I do forget, the reason I usually get reminded is I notice my battery draining much faster than I expect it to be. When I look, sure enough, I forgot to shut off the radios I'm not using.
Here's the case I use currently : http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-GEL-T...092483?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item564a1539c3
It's a really stylish gel cover (black). This particular case is sold by multiple sellers on ebay, and always around the price of $2. The seller I picked mine up from had free shipping and included a screen protector! The case is great looking, easy to clean, and awesome to grip!
Here's the case I had previously, my first case used with this phone: http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Samsung...786337?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item46082b9ba1
Another low cost and stylish case, it comes in the color white and is made out of soft silicone! I loved the white look on this dark phone, as well as the amazingly smooth finish the silicone offered. I ran into two problems that caused me to replace this though. First off it dirtied really easy from a combination of it's color and it's material. Second, a tab that held both the front and back plates together broke and which eventually caused the case to crack as well.
This isn't a holster I owned , but it's on my wishlist: http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=42375
This holster looks sleek and will definitely keep my phone out of my pocket, but not too far out of reach.
I got one of those generic gel cases for $6 for both mine and my dads phone, and I just left the screen cover on that it shipped with, workes just fine for me.

This is how it went down....... I woke and was seaching the web to see what new cases were out. I was eyeing the triden aigeis or however you spell it because the Seidio Active I purchase I didnt feel offered as good of protection that this very expensive phone requires. I eventually swapped that out for a Ballistic SG that amazingly enough still fit in the Seidio Active's holster. This has been my every day carry since. I didnt like it because both the Active and Ballistic's rubber portion would pull away from the top and bottom very effortlessly which seemed like the were poorly designed. I checked the Otterbox website and it said that the cases were now available so I called my local cooperate store and asked the question I always ask, " hey, do you guy happen to have the Otterbox Defender for the Galaxy Note 2?" To my surprise he said yeah. Me thinking that maybe he misheard me I asked again thinking he might have thought I was asking about an S3 or something else but again he said yes. I asked " well how many do you have?" And I received the dreaded answer of.......1! I immediately asked if he could hold it for me. He said for how long, I said an hour tops. He then said ok but we only got 2 in that came in late last night and we sold the first one 30 min after opening. So I jumped up got dressed and ran to the store....... actually I took a little detour. I stopped by 2 authorized dealer stores and even a Otterbox kios in my local mall none of which had it. The kios worker said that the were expected to ship on the 21st. So to the Cooperate store I went. I asked for the guy who's name I will not mention even though I want to because he held the case for me even after I called and people came into the store looking for one. I told him what I was looking for and that I was the guy he said he would hold it for and out frm behind the counter under the curtain (really that what happend) out he pulled a nice black Otterbox Dender.
Pictues to follow shortly. ..

I got 30% because I bought a spare battery and charger for the note 2 and my wifes S3.
As for the volume buttons, they are not as good as the power button but I find that if I push in the center of either the up or down it works fine as opposed to pushing the ends of either direction. Im thinking I might try and put some felt or something to make the connection a little better but even as is, its the best case out right now

The screen protector does inhibit swiping a little but not too much. I usually pull them out but I think I will leave this one in for now. The Otterbox is bigger than the Ballistic and offers better screen protection becase it is ressesed further. I like that it has port covers (charging and headphones). I am a holster kind of guy and if I was not, the Ballistic would be more than adequate protection aside from how the rubber pulls on the top and bottom.

Could you take a measurement of the phone with the case on it? I too am a holster guy and a leather pouch looks like a phanny pack for this phone and so far the picture of the otter box seems like its just too big for 1 hand operation so im thinking about the siedio surface + holster even though I prefer the holster of the otter box. Since you have both holsters how would you compare the otter vs the siedio holster?
How bad is the ballistic case? I have a open order with Amazon on the Ballistic case for $25 and I'm thinking of canceling but this Otterbox case has me thinking twice because of the stupid volume rocker

I actually do not have any measuring tools. Yeah I know right. I do think that the Otterbox holster provides a more secure locking feeling than the Seidio holster. The Otterbox case is definately larger but that is the price of protection.

Well my luck gets even better. I purchased a extra battery and charger for my note 2 and my wifes S3. With my case and the 30% off my total came to $111. Well me nor my wife have yet to kill these phones without intentionally draining the battery so I took the two spare batteries back and they issued me a refund of $84 dollars. So when it is all said and done I got my case for $27 dollars. I dont care what discount you get you aint going to beat that.....

Wow really, I didnt think that would be necessary. Im not sure I have the original receipt but I will gather all the evidence I can find to prove my case....no pun intended........ This is crazy that im trying to prove this but hey why not....... stand by
Ok, I logged into my bank account and took a picture of the original purchase which was $117 and not $111. So technically you got me so add $6.60 to my price.......
I then took a pic of the refund receipt which shows what I returned. It however doesnt list the Otterbox case as being purchased.
But however I do have the case so unless the Otterbox fairy bestowed it on me I purchased it. What happened from my guess is he refunded me for the 2 items at the 20% rate vs the 30% I initially got off when I first purchased them. So by my math, instead of $27 it worked out to be EXACTLY $33.60
Im not sure which I find stranger, that someone didnt believe me or that I even cared enough to take pictures of a receipt and my bank accout? Plus its 5 in the morning. .......lol.
Now is $33.60 more believable?????????

The inside has rubber piece that protect your phone from direct aluminum contact. The rubber acts as a impact absorbing material. It keeps the phone in place and prevents it from sliding around once the case is tightened down.
The case is closed by 2 screws with the hex key included.. The charging port opening is always large enough to fit the OEM cable. The large white and black ones. I tested this with both. Sweet Armor cases do not allow OEM USB cables. The case has a great feel while maintaining it's elegance. The case does not add much bulk to the phone. There is also a small cut out for a lanyard for those are you that prefer that method of carry. There is also plenty of room for the S-Pen to be slid out. There are also cut outs for the microphone and noise cancellation mic at the top.
The opening for the headphones fit the OEM headset easily and still have room to spare.
The bumper of the Note II Draco keep the camera high enough to not come in direct contact when the phone is laid on a flat surface. This is a huge relief. Another feature of the Draco case is the power and volume toggle switch is also made of aluminum. Attention to detail was not spared with this project.
Does this case affect the cell phone signal / reception? Not really. Visually I might see it drop a bar and bounce back. I'm not in a very good coverage area and the function, data and sound quality of my calls have not been affected. At home and work I have the same number of bars. Signal strength has been the exact same in both areas.
MSRP: $89.99 and is available at DRACOdesign in 3 different colors.
Conclusion: The case is minimalistic and looks sharp. It feels great in my hand and gives it a better grip than a naked phone.

I presume that with this case on, the battery cover is not accessible for removal? Not ideal for those who tend to swap batteries, Micro SD cards and such; as you'd have to dismantle/assemble every time.
Shame that the Sweet Armor cases don't provide adequate sized port opening for OEM USB, as its case design does allow access to the battery cover.

I just did a review. Nothing asked you to go into a thread and give your 2 cents. If it's out of your price range, ok then. I never asked you to buy it. I obtained a case and gave my opinion on it. Never asked what you thought of the price, where you thought it was made or how much of a discount was needed for you to consider buying it. It's almost like going into a ROM thread and telling the person that put it together that their ROM sucked, it needs more of X, less of Y and needs the X app. Someone did a review on a product I bought. I bought it because it seemed legit. Things didn't work out. I returned it. I didn't go back and bash it or anything. This was even after I bought the product. I just returned it and bowed out quietly. Just because you don't have it and don't want to buy it, doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. Maybe they will enjoy it. Sometimes some people just want the real thing. I did a Draco case review in the past with a good turn out. Many people bought the case using the 30% discount.

That's correct. May not be ideal for people who swap batteries and cards. But it's simple. It goes on and doesn't come of. It works great for me because I use one battery throughout the day.
Thanks a lot for the review, chrischoi.

I was a little bit worried about the cell signal strength.
I live in the area where I rarely have a very good signal.

this case was NOT made by YOU, so quit crying about my comments...90 dollars, or even 60 dollars is outrageous for a thin piece of TAIWAN aluminum, and if you dont think so, thats your opinion...MY opinion is this is a rip off, and you can find what probably is the exact same thing on Ebay for 20 bucks or so.

In the future can you put your reviews in the thread of the product?
Thank you for your cooperation

Bullying other people does not make you look smarter, guys.
Even though you are respected members of the Note II community.

If that's bullying... then u must've gotten beat up alot in school. We were simply stating, just like Chris has the right to post..... Wase had a right to post his opinion. Does he not? Chris is the one who got all defensive. It was completely uncalled for. This is a community but unfortunately is slowly turning into a dictatorship

Thanks a lot for the review, chrischoi.
I bought a Blue Thunder bumper two days ago and cant wait for it to arrive.
I was a little bit worried about the cell signal strength.
I live in the area where I rarely have a very good signal.
Does you phone have any protection film on the back?

Thanks.
Reception wise, I don't notice a drastic difference. If anything visually it may drop bar, but it will regain it instantly. Seems to behave normally that way without the case depending on where I am.
Nothing on the back. Backs are cheap to replace. I ordered a OEM back with just Samsung on it, so I'm waiting on that.

Seriously? Are we here making statements about my personal life already?
Please, do not turn this thread into what it is not supposed to be.
You know, there is plenty of people in the world who can easily afford buying a Lamborgini.
I cannot imagine myself posting something like that:
$500,000 is a rip-off, never buy it!
Let's purchase a $12,000 Ford Focus.
It will drive you from point A to B too.
I have purchased a couple of aluminum bumpers and a whole bunch of plastic, TPU and leather cases on eBay and was not satisfied with any of them at all.
Of course, Draco bumper may not be worth $90 (actually, I got mine for $75), we will see.
I am tired of less expensive cases that are really not what I like.
It is so subjective, what case is good, what case is bad.

Personal riffs have no place in the forums. You're right about that. However everyone is entitled to his or her opinion as long as its not a personal attack on someone. You posted a review and someone responded. They said they thought the price didnt match the product. If you post a review of something in a public forum then you need to expect people to disagree with you. Its the age old adage....Opinions are like a-holes. Everyones got one.
OK guys, let's just take a deep breath. I hate to get in middle of this, but I kind of understand both sides. Prior to me starting to write my reviews, I made exactly the same post as Wase about another aluminum bumper vendor with a price tag of $100+. That was one side. After I started writing reviews, I discovered another side where I contact vendors directly who I think offer a great product I believe in and want to review and to share it with XDA community. Basically, one side is how to spend my hard earned money wisely, and the other side - I get free samples of products I think great and I want to review them in the best way.
The bottom line, this particular product or something like pricey VITREO is a matter of personal choice and something that's going to be not everyone's cup of tea. But I'm sure every company justifies their pricing in comparison to competition, and they will see how well the product is selling and will offer discounts to "adjust" it Cost of the material plays a role, but no matter how great the vendor thinks their product is - if its not selling they will have to adjust the price. Unless their name is "Mugen" and they so full of themselves thinking their $105 extended battery is better than a same one from Anker for $17
I have sweet armor on my note 2 and it does allow access for the OEM charging/USB cable without a problem.
I agree that it was pointless to post the opinion of the case being a rip off financially.

A question for the reviewer.
How does this case affect the GPS?
I've gotten 5 aluminum bumper cases that all affect fix lock and acquisition.
Thank you in advance

I'll test this on the way to work and get right back to you on this. There was a slight delay, but that seemed about normal. I was able to keep it until I got to work. That was just a 10 minute drive.
Yes that cord. The one that came in the box with the phone plugs into the phone just as easy with the Sweet Armor on just as easy as it does without the Sweet Armor.

How would this compare with a sweet armor?
Would you be able to do a side by side comparison/shootout between the two bumpers?
The thing about the sweet armor I like is, specifically, the side buttons.
I'm planning on getting an all black sweet armor, if they ever come back in stock that is, and a glass screen cover.
Is this one really worth the extra money, even considering the inability to remove the back cover?
