You can try but it may not work
if it didn't work just follow that form
Just flash the zip on form using recover
Than boot your phone into boot loader
than flash kernel
And then flashing recovery

[ROM] Stock HTC Rom Perfect for restoring

Hey guys, i know it is nothing special, but i thought I would post this to provide ease for users to restore.
Below you will find a download link for the stock rom, and just below here the instruction in order to restore, so here we go...
To restore follow these following commands:
First download and install the zip from this thread, this will bring you back to stock, however, if you want to flash over your recovery and kernel follow the two steps below.
Do this AFTER you have flashed to zip, if you do it before you cannot flash any zips at all! Follow these command carefully to flash back to stock recovery:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Once you have completed, the above step follow this following command to finish going back to stock:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now your phone should be completely stock.
Download link: HERE
Please Note: This is the Stock Rom which Einstein.frat removed, my friend mblex provided me with the file, so credits to him for that.

Very useful! This would make me fearless in trying out other kernels! Har har har! :victory:
You can't really brick your phone flashing kernels, you always have fastboot to fall back on.
To hard brick your phone, you would mess up the hboot, which is bad news because think of that as your phones BIOS, without that function you are basically screwed.
But your safe flashing kernels, the worst what can happen is that it won't boot lol.

Post a list of steps you've did. Will help with finding out the symptoms.
One thing you could do on your own consequences, is to try doing everything you did all over again, but starting like this: http://rootgalaxynote.com/galaxy-no...-installrestore-roms-on-galaxy-note-gt-n7000/

hello, demkantor, can I ask you something? I'm currently using a .0013d SPL and its S-ON ship, some here at xda say that S-ON ship bootloaders only have a few fastboot commands, I dunno if that is tru but I tried to change my slash scree with this SPL but I can't so what I did is to change it on .2005 which is S-OFF and eng and from there I successfully change my splash screen, after that I go back to .0013d spl since it was required for the rom I'm currently using, so I just want to ask if how can I make this .0013d spl an S-OFF Eng.? greatly appreciated if you can help me, thanks in advance,
If you can do this you would be a truly awesome dev
This bootloader is already hacked to work with our phone, if you can transform it to an engineering bootloader that would be awesome!
So unfortunately you'll have to flash the orange.nbh each time you want to change splash screen

TWRP/CWM is for flashing roms, doing backups, etc. The stock recovery is mainly flashed before returning for a replacement or repairs.

Any thoughts?

Dear all;
Today i finally decided to unlock the bootloader and s-off the device..but after these..my wifi was not working ...and still stucked at the turning on wifi phase.
Factory reset wiping cache did not help
I found out that i should flash a newnstock rom...but to be honest i did not find the stock 4.3 for the european device (ruu).. i found some zips but the recovery stopped at verifying package when i said install from phone...so to be honest i have no clue how to proceed
How to flash it what to do? The guides are not always complete or the links were not working... i need help i will post the info on my device..
Would you be so kind and tell me what to do?
In details of course)
Thank you very very much

Umh, download from mike's thread the stock rom and flash this.
Or flash only the boot.img from fastboot.
Seems a kernel "issue"

Umh, download the stock rom from mike's thread.
Now, do a nandroid backup from recovery and after flash the rom.
I think there isn't any stock rom for your version main, so the easiest solution is this
However, you've tried to erase the cache from fastboot with the command: fastboot erase cache
??
Sent from One with Tapa4
Well i tried the wipe cache/ factory reset etc etc..
In the morning (cause its 2:23 am) i will try the nandbackup(although i have no clue about that) and then a 4.3 stock flash would be reasonable or not?
Thanks

Defo kernel issue.
- Get odexed from here
http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.no/p/android-revolution-hd-mirror-site-var.html?m=1
Or whatever you desire
- Put the downloaded Rom on to your SD.
- Enter cwm/twrp recovery and do a nand (=backup of current ROM)
- install zip of new stock Rom.
Reboot when done.
Either this or just flash bulletproof kernel from flar. see if it gets sorted.

Well I installed TWRP, did a backup, with the default selection, after that I booted, and copied the files.,
Then I copied the odexed file to the device, booted into recovery, and installed it.
Now Wifi Works , and everything is on the "latest" release and still stock.
My question is:
What ROM-s can I try out? Only Odexed? Or Google Editions as well (from the link you provided) and if yes...
I just make a backup from the current setup, and copy it, and then recovery from the backup am I right?
But mainly my problem has been solved... So thank you very much !
Odexed or deodexed, whatever rocks your socks.. if you are gonna do some themeing of icons you need deodexed.
You are S-off and are free to flash loads of stuff.
Google edition? Sure test it out if you want to.
Sure, just back up current Rom and keep it safe on your phone if you can. Any problems occurs you can just restore it.
