Hello Admins and people .. I am new here ..
Firstly I have a HTC Sensation XE .. But there is no phone category of XE so I am posting in XL ...
Here's the situation ..
I rooted my phone , installed CWM ... did everything , i successfully upgraded to the custom rom , Now when i start the phone .. First HTC Screen appears , then android appears ,then it restarts and again android appears ,i managed to get my phone back into the stock firmware ..but i really want the update, how much time does it usually take for the first boot?
What is it that I am doing wrong.. Help would be appreciated
Forget me if I'm wrong, but the Sensation XE is essentially the same as the regular sensation. You might be better off asking on that forum.
If you connect a charger in the state of sensation xl mobile phone power-off , and is 5-10 seconds and then rush to recover spontaneously . ,The genuine , there is no such phenomenon . ,Just only cwm and twrp

It is currently in use twrp 2.4.4.0
Hopes to fix in the next version.
Thank you.
You can't change that, for some reason HTC implemented the charging anim and stuff while.turned.off in the recovery, and since the original recovery is changed, you have nothing to do about it, but be happy, the next release of TWRP will have screen brightness control and the screen will be turning off, also has a lockscreen, so will feel pretty natural.
Sent from my Sensation XL using xda app-developers app
Ok here it is.
I am a newbie to XDA. I have been using my HTC INCREDIBLE S for the past 6 months (I basically got this from a friend who migrated to Iphone ). I am new to Rooting and Custome ROM loading.
My HTC phone stopped working since few days , it just comes till the HTC logo on white background and remains hung there.
Since my HTC was restarting every now and then I did a HARD FORMAT (Volume down+Power button and then Factory Reset) which I feel now I shud not have done
Can you pls help me if I can get bring it back to life ?
My HTC is S-locked so any suggestions to load custom rom , pls let me know how to S-off now that my HTC is hung (can’t do it from HTC website as the phone is hung)

You can go to the HTCDEV.com site and download the last official ICS RUU for the IncS and see if you can execute and run that to bring your phone back to life.

Can you post a screen shot of your bootloader (HBOOT) screen? Do you have the original box the phone came in? If so, can you post the Model ID?
My dad recently bought a HTC One X from someone who had tried to root the phone and for what I understood he removed some important files and now it won't even start/boot. He gave it to me because he gave up on fixing it. I have tried using key combinations to get it to boot in recovery mode but it won't respond to anything. When I connect it to my PC using a USB cable it won't even detect the device. Is there any way to fix this or is it beyond repairs?

I meant HTC one x. And that isn't really helping.

Then you are still not in the correct forum...
HTC One X (tegra cpu variant): http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-x
HTC One X (qualcomm cpu variant): http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-x-att
And that isn't really helping.

Hello guys.
My HTC sensation XL is completely bricked , it doesn't boot, and does NOTHING at all except saying "QHSUSB_Dload"
I have Ubuntu , and everything so far , but I just don't know how to get rid of this awful mode .
It happened when my Battery run out of power, the phone turned off, i tried to turn it on the next day , and I was unable to.
so Basically , let's summarize everything :
-HTC sensation XL
-QHSUsb_Dload mode
-I have Ubuntu
-I tried everything on unlimited.io (like PblClear.sh , it can't find my device)
Come On People , I know someone knows the solution
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
