I flashed CWM 5.0.26 via Odin but nothing happens, still reboots into 6.0.1.4. Pls, someone can help me with this? Is my phone bricked now?
If you have on your SD card CWM 5th it can be installed by CWM 6 which now have and abductions reboot system now, then you start CWM 5 and ate with reboot system now ...

If you used cf autoroot, you should have CWM recovery..hold the volume up, home button and power button simultaneously when booting up.
Autoroot is stock recovery and not cwm. So pressing up power and home takes me to stock android recovery. Not cwm

Stuck in bootloop any time i boot into recovery

AM USING LG OPTIMUS 4X HD ... RUNING ANDROID 4.1.2 STOCK ROM.. WHICH I HAVE ROOT BUT ANY TIME I FLASH CWM AND I BOOT INTO RECOVERY. .. PHONE GETS STUCK IN LOGO... PLS I NEED HELP

did you flash the official cwm recovery? it can be installed with ROM Manager. the old cwm recovery doesnt clear the 'boot into recovery' state => bootloop into recovery.
if stuck in that bootloop, turn out battery, put in back, connect charger and see if you get the battery charging animation. this clears/reset the state and you can boot into android

But why would you need TWRP when you have CWM?

I like the UI of TWRP. Moreover the CWM doesnot recognise sd-ext2 partition of my sdcard. I cant backup my sd-ext2 partition with CWM. Maybe TWRP will recognise it..
