Hi guys which the latest wifi ad-hoc fix for gt-i9000?
So our GT-I9000 able to scan and add Wifi ad-hoc without sacrificing existing current wifi access point setting?

Thanks for the hint but seems that my question was bit unclear.
As my tablet is wifi only, every now and then I would need to connect to adhoc wifi i.e. to a mobile.
So I am looking for solution how to connect to adhoc wifi. In mean while I did some searching and if I got it right CM10 does not support adhoc connection (yet). It works in CM9.
One solution woulb be to change my N9 to iphone as for some reason they establish wifi differently so tablet sees iphone wifi but not N9

Did you try 'Wi-Fi Direct' in the triple-dot menu in the WiFi area?

Hi,
Yes I have tried the direct wifi and also that does not find ac-hoc networks.
So most likely I just have to wait until CM10 supports adhoc connections...

Can someone test wifi? It's working on unprotected wifi network?
It's not working for me :/
I've mac filtering and i can't set password.

Wifi is not working either for me
I can connect to my home wifi, but on my workplace i can not coonect to the pwd protected wifi network. It does not say anything,
Just not connected.
I tried with cm-11-20140318-NIGHTLY-p880.zip

Change the ROM. Try a newer version or a stable one.

i want to know the difference between normal hotspot and rooted wifi teathering on my htc.
does the wifi teathering mean no data is spent from my monthly plan?
