Samsung Galaxy S hanged - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a samsung galaxy s i9000 and i am unable to use it properly.
Recently i tried a clockword mod backup and after that it hangs at the sim pin page.
I tried to reflash the stock rom but it still hangs.I tried to format/data wipe but it comes coming back.
I connected usb mass storage to pc and manuaaly tried to format but it does not delete the files.
After 20-30 mins of hang i am finaaly able to open the phone.
But the main issue comes here, none of my apps work and even my play store is also not working.
It pops up the message that play store is not working.
Please give me what to do.:crying::crying::crying:

You flashed with pit file jvu ?

Did you already tried to flash a 3 files rom over Odin?
The problem is that you lose all your data.
Can you get into download mode?
Yes
Good, download stock files and flash via odin
No
Sorry, not much to do if wipe etc doesn't work. As I can think of.

[Q] Samsung Note Getting into Download mode when home button is not working

Hi All
My home button in Galaxy note is not working. I was using it with the stock rom rooted for quite some time without the home button. Last Friday, I decided to have PA Rom installed. I had to modify my kernel to CM10 for installing this ROM. When I am done with the install of the kernel, the phone restarted and alas.. it got struck in the samsung note logo. As my home button is not working, i am not able to get into the download/recovery mode. I have my rom in the Ext SD Card and all i want is to get in to the recovery mode and install it. Is there an option for me? I bought a USB Jig assuming that it would solve but even that is not working. Please help me recovering my Note..
Go to a repair center and get a working button.
Went to samsung service centre in Adyar, Chennai. They don't understand the issue and they say that fixing the home button requires changing of display and asked me INR Rs8500 to have it resolved. Before that they say that the software problem needs to be rectified and they say that it would be additional charge for it.
Is there any other service center suggested in Chennai
Tried adb?
Adb reboot recovery
My phone is not even booting past Samsung Note logo, I believe adb reboot recovery is for rebooting the phone into recovery. Correct me if I am wrong
Sup?

Since you are rooted, you could try this app:
https:/ /play.google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.smart.swkey&feature=search_result
Button Savior on PlayStore
(sorry for the messed up link but xda thinks I need a few more posts to prove that I'm not a robot! )
It's free and could provide you with a temporary solution to your problem!
Greetings,
Paco.

you can boot into download mode too using
adb reboot download
just connect to pc and run adb devices.. if the device shows up... it could work..
If all fails, you can try a USB jig.
Edit: just saw, you allready did..

Tried USB Jig and it is not working in my phone while it works with another samsung note and s3 phones. The difference is that I have rooted, CM 10.1 Kernel installed and others have stock. Will it make any difference?
Just tried ADB and it says device offline.. No other options available??

[Q] Cannot Hard Reset Galaxy S3 Mini

Hi everyone here
I have Samsung galaxy S3 mini which i bought about a year back from another country , and i am having an un explainable problem with my device
The device gets restarted by itself in a short span of time ,and if i switch it of or restart , the device goes back to an earlier stage .(ie into a state how it was 2 months back ,including all the settings, wallpaper, call log ,messages etc) i tried doing Factory reset and failed as the device restarts when i press the factory reset tab..
I also tried Data Wipe through recovery mode and it didn't work either ..
i tried Data wipe + clean catch and doesn't work Also there is a notice in android recovery, which states:
did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/csc/feature.xml' (no data available)
tried installing Stock ROM via odin and many custom roms ..nothing works
as of now , my phone is un usable
please any help would be appreciated (dont ask me about the warranty as its purchased from outside and its been a year now , taking to the Samsung service center here was too dumb , as even they have no idea about this bug )

as it seems that your csc code is wrong.
search for a ROM that supports your country or flash carbon11 or cm11 (but no guarranty)

Maybe it's a fake

[Q] S4 active stuck in "samsung galaxy s4 active i9295" screen

Help! I am still a newbie here.
So, I was excited to manually flash the official kitkat firmware for i9295, so i downloaded it from the internet.
But i couldn't explain what happened. Formerly, my phone was running a Carbon Rom "CARBON-KK-UNOFFICIAL-20140514-0523-jactiveltexx",
with clockworkmod recovry 6.0.3.5 (i think).
while waiting for the Official Kitkat Rom to finish downloading, i went and went to CWM recovery and wipe data, factory reset, and dthings like that etc. and starting the phone again.
Until It got stuck in the start screen of the phone which shows " Samsung Galaxy S4 Active i9295"
Please Help! I have been searching everywhere but there is no such solution to be found.
Please help! Even when i charge my phone, there is no animation, it just shows the battery with the circle and it freezes!
I will post pictures when i get a capturing device, please help me if you know a solution
Just start your phone in download mode (volume down + home + power) and install kitkat with odin

Then I include the Pit file for i9295 but it kept saying "FAIL, Re partition failed" or something like that

[Help Required URGENT] - N7000 no download mode no recovery

Hi all,
Recently my Nexus 4 broke, and I had to borrow an old N7000 from a friend. It was running 4.2.2 when I got it. I downloaded the correct firmware (DDLSC) for rooting it & flashed it through ODIN. It rooted perfectly & I was able to install the latest Philz recovery through the CWM. Through Philz, I was able to install the Resurrection Remix ROM (CM12) & Forest Kernel perfectly. I used it for a few days and then I also updated it 2-3 times. A simple flash was causing FC's so I had to do a full wipe everytime. But everytime I booted into recovery, It opened up the CWM instead of Philz. So, I had to install latest Philz first, then reboot recovery & install the ROM.
Last week, I decided to change the ROM to Nightowl BETA 5 (which is also CM12). I used the same procedure, full wipe & install. Most of the time, it would boot into CWM by default. I don't know why Philz wasn't getting installed permanently. Sometimes, it broke the root & stuck at bootloop. So, I had to install CWM again. And again. The custom binary count had already reached 3.
Nightowl BETA 5 also worked correctly. after a few days, I downloaded BETA 6 & tried to install it. Same way - full wipe & flash. It flashed & booted once. But the battery went dead after a few hours & I connected it to the charger & tried to boot it but it didnt boot at all. I have been trying to get it to boot for a few days now but nothing.
It shows the charger sign only when connected (either to laptop or charger, no boot, no connection). While connected, I tried to get download mode. It went upto the warning sign, where I have to press volume Up to continue. After pressing volume Up, no download mode, it goes back to the charger.
I bought a USB jig yesterday & tried to get download mode using the instructions from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2084222
During all the steps, I get only a black screen. Nothing else.
Now it's only in the charger mode & no boot, no recovery, no download mode(except warning). Any & all help to get me out of this situation will be appreciated. I have to return it to the friend I borrowed it from ASAP & in working condition.
Why do you flash a borrowed phone? [emoji32]
Guess you have to pay for the phone then... STUPID!
