Can you still buy original HD2 car kit?

Can you still buy the original HD2 car kit with the specialized magnetic backplate? Have been searching ebay, all over google, can't find it anywhere.

No, I mean the 1st official one released by HTC for the HD2 as reviewed HERE

yes that's the one too expensive but looks useful for even desk charger too

yes,you can still get them on on ebay saw 2 earlier this afternoon,just search for htc hd 2 on ebay,they are nearly £70..

afaik the first one nerver released...

You can buy it without worrying...
I always use docks no matter what phone I have and I have never had any problems...

It is safe, but not very well constructed, as the phone itself does not make contact with the plastic of the dock, so it only "wiggles" on the usb plug. I bought another one which is a lot better, and it can charge an extra battery as well: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/dual-u...th-extra-battery-slot-for-lg-optimus-2x-73031
...it uses mini-usb cables though, and the supplied power-adapter is not euro. (The supplied cable was too short to be practical for me.)

You've probably got one now, but thought I would comment as I have this one, and it's rather nice. It's a lot sturdier than it looks - I was afraid that it'd topple-over with the weight of the phone but it stays put.
My only gripe is the blue LED which illuminates my bedroom at night even when the PC is off, so I've stuck some black PVC insulation tape over it

I bought my in 8th may. I still wait arrive.

But if I put it in cradle... The phone act some special activities?? Example... New clock.. Desk clock...

Xperia Z SKU Charging Dock

Guys it was found that in unboxing the device, a charging dock was present as well which is a nice addition with the regular handsfree and charger provided and the box weighed in a pretty hefty 450 grams too! The box pack was unveiled as well showing the inners of the box with the magnificient beast in between! But the dock may not be present in all markets as always! But the glaring omission was not providing an HDMI(MHL) cable or whatever! What do you think guys? Should Sony should provide the dock for all markets?

I'll be buying the dock separately, the NTT Docomo inclusion is obviously by special arrangement and i'm sure it's factored into the cost.

It would be awesome if it were included... All of my phones I previously had, had worn usb ports after little over a year... especially the fact that the port here is covered by a flap to keep it waterproof makes me want a chargingdock. I have already been looking for it online, but cannot find it anywhere, nor is it listed as an accesory on the Sony site, though it has been introduced together with the phone. I truly hope it wil be included.

Oh my... As expected, the dock is not bundled and has to be bought separately! Only the screen protector has been added as an extra accessory!

If I understand it is something for replacing a module in the XZ to get it enabled :
New wireless charging module for Sony Xperia Z L36h. This part is also called: inductive charging, wireless charging module. With this part the wireless charging module is replaced. Charging the Xperia Z without a wire requires a wireless charging kit/pad.

Wireless Charging Module?
So I am bringing this back up from the dead, but I just found this wireless charging module on rounded.com and I am quite intrigued by it. Has anyone found any more info on this part? Has anyone been able to find this part and install it? Pretty much, the only thing preventing me from buying a case is that I cannot use my dock. Obviously I can remove the case, but it'll only wear out the case or scratch up the phone.

Hi everyone, I just got my brand new Sony EP880 charger from Ebay. However that's charger look suspicious and feel not solid to me. The Sony logo on that and the spec are writed in totally different layout. Cant verify it as genuine or not!!!! Pls help

This is my original Z1 charger, I cannot be of any more help than this. I don't know for sure if the one you bought from Ebay is fake or not, seems a bit off to me, couldn't say why though, maybe the scan image looks a bit strange, but I might be wrong.
EDIT:
Looking more closely at my image and yours, the Sony logo on the Ebay one is way different, the print of the word "Charger" is also not well aligned, it's got the letters up and down in the same line. Don't know, but it doesn't look exactly right to me.
Also, on the S/N line, at the end of that line, on the original ones (yours and mine there is written SEM0600.1, on the one from Ebay, there is only SEM0600. Again, don't know for sure, but it's just looking suspicious indeed.

It can be fake as from china on eBay there is a tons of this crap and Yes, the charger do not look right but maybe a Quality Supervisor at Sony Company didn't mind about unlined letters..lol...
I will send it back whit some excuse that the charger do not work...

Your charger is genuine, at least for me.
I have both type of charger seen in this topic. Looking at the end of the line beginning with "S/N", the OP charger ends with SEM0600, while with the others end with SEM0600.1.
The charger that was provided with my phone is a SEM0600.1, the one I bought from Amazon Fr (http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B009WWJI28/?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is a SEM0600. And they both have a different "Sony®" logo.

....or maybe it's a well made fake!
BTW, if you don't have problems in charging your phone I will not be worry about it.
