After flashing CM 10.1 onto my HTC One Sprint everything seemed to be fine.
I flashed the CM, then the GApps, then the boot.img, went through the setup, and all seemed well.
After turning my Wifi off for a moment I realized that I had no service what so ever.
I have rebooted and re-flashed everything a few times and the IMEI number shows up just fine starting with 99.
Anyone know how to get my phone back to working like a phone?
[SOLVED]
after trying many a more ways I got it to work by going to the phone dial-er and typing *#*#4636#*#* to get to the phone info settings.
I changing the setting from Unkown to GSM/CDMA auto and all is fine.

After a few days running Dlev's 4.2 ROM, my wifi stopped working suddenly. When I try to turn it on it says error or unable to start wifi. I've exhausted several initial options I began walking myself back through various ROM's back to the original 2.1 stock ROM. Without success I even performed a master clear and several reflashes of the orininal stock ROM, nothing is working. I tried FXR Wifi fix and rescue. Does anybody have any ideas on what I should do?
Thanks,

Kernel?
What kernel were you running with the custom ROM? Talon's being updated really frequently, so if it's Talon, you might try the latest version of that (0.4.4.22, as of this writing)

Did you try rebooting your router or device that gives you wireless signal? also see if other devices can connect.
It was Talon 0.4.4, but I've gone all the way back to stock ROM/kernel etc and that makes me think that this is a HW malfunction.
AT&T had me reboot the router too, my laptops are able to connect just fine. It's not really a connection problem either, Wifi will not turn on at all.
I called Samsung and they want me to ship them the phone, still debating that one since I will have to go without a phone.

I recently installed both AOKP and CM10, the most recent versions on my Verizon Droid 3. Now, i have no service. I downloaded (via wifi) the app "lte on/off" to get a look at what was happening, and the radio keeps rapidly switching on and off, on and off over and over again. This happened with all the AOKP versions i tried and both CM10 versions I tried. Ive rebooted, re-flashed, tried different download links, reflashed again, wipe and reflash. Im at a complete loss here guys, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had the exact same problem. I went insane scouring the web for hours trying to find a single person with the same problem until I finally gave up. Does anyone know the last version that actually worked?
I also have this problem, do anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

I had similar problems on cm10.1. I have no idea if this will work (I'm outside the US, and my phone asked me to activate the phone), but I also had no service, no data. I changed my network mode from GLOBAL to GSM/WCDMA auto. Now I have service and data (Data after applying the correct carrier apn settings)
I hope this helps you all
P.S. after this step I made factory resets without the need to do the above step again (You only need to put the correct apn settings again if your on networks other than Verizon)
Hey guys,
in the beginning, sorry for my bad english (native german). I have a problem with my I9295 aka S4 Active. Since the update to 4.4.2, my phone gets thrown out of the network. Wlan and Bluetooth is fine. Now I flashed the official Samsung DOB4 firmware. Yes, I've downloaded the file multiple times, and the md5 sum was always right. After I flashed it, I was very happy because my cellular network was working again, I could make some calls, etc. But after 20 minutes, it started again. No network. Well, my IMEI was null, and to fix it I had to root. After rooting, my IMEI is there again (yes, the right one) and everything worked fine and was still working, up to yesterday. IMEI still there, baseband too, everything seems fine, but I can't get network. I have to reboot multiple times to get it working again, after that it's working maximum a day, after that, no network again . Atm, i've flashed CM12, but the error is still occuring. I'm very desperate, I hope somebody can help me.
I have a quite similar problem:
My I9295 loses service randomly. Happens quite often.
When I try to go to Settings/More Networks/Mobile Networks I am told "No SIM ..."
SIM is in and had been active. Phono tells me I have network reception.
After reboot it works for an hour or 20 minutes or whatever it wants to.
Sometimes it reconnects after a while, sometimes not.
When I leave it on during night netx morning reconnect works only via reboot.
SIM reader had been replaced.
Problem persists with genuine 5.0.1, with this one: [ROM][Official Nightly CM12/Unofficial CM12.1][5.0/5.1.1] builds for I9295
and WizCyan ROM.
Any suggestions?
BTW I use a TWRP recovery
Possible reason explained here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56955843
Enjoy
Thanks for the hint.
Not sure if I get this. The problem was also there with the genuine Samsung ROM (lolipop)while the thread talks aout losing modem function after flashing custom ROM.
About previous I am not sure as I bought it used with 4.2.2 on it.
I updated to 4.4 and then 5 OTA, all genuine.
Only because the mobile kept on losing network I switched to custom ROM, but the problem persists.
At the moment I use the Pac-Man ROM 5.1.1 where it seems to be more stable.
Strange!
@augek
The linked thread isn't only about custom roms - you can end up with partly flashed baseband on genuine if you don't power off before download mode and flash using Odin.
Was the replacement job of SIM reader done by a qualified person?
Following your Suggestion i flashed the genuine lollipop with odin. Yes i switched of Prior to flashing.
And Yes the Person Who did the card reader Job is qualified.
Still the Problem persists.
So to me the question is if the Firmware (driver) is the Problem of my sim card. The sim i tried on my s4mini and doesn't cause Problems so far as far as i noticed.
P****es me of somehow.
Hi All - I tried flashing 2 custom ROM's (Monnlight and Mokee), both install just fine but i am unable to get mobile data on either of the ROM's. Everything works fine on Wifi. I can even make calls fine. My IMEI number is correct, hence not sure why i cannot get the mobile datat to work.
Tried manually entering the APN details, still no luck.
Hoping somebody has a fix.
Have you tried this:
dial *#*#4636#*#*
select WCDMA-preferred or CDMA auto-prl

Thanks Gary, I tried your code and selected various options nine work. I can still see the Exclamation mark and no mobile data. However on the diagnostic page it says "Connected" and network type "HSPA". I have tried multiple settings rebooting, still no luck.
The funny thing is if i switch back to my phone OS which MIUI v6 evrything works fine. I even checked the baseband number its teh same in the working ROM and the non working ROM.
I am really confused what's happening.
It seemed like a ROM issue I installed a non Cyanogenmod based ROM and it worked just fine
I recently rooted my H811 G4 (T-mobile) and then installed the latest Imperium ROM on it. Everything worked fine for three days. The only thing that kept popping up was an alert from Lookout, saying that the Imperium Settings app had riskware and wanted me to delete it. I just ignored the warning as I figured that it was being fussy over an app from a custom ROM. I also kept getting notifications to upgrade my version of Android but I ignored those too as I learned that with a rooted phone, it either won't work, or will unroot the phone. After 3 days, I suddenly lost connectivity to the T-Mobile network. Could still make calls and text over wifi, but nothing when the wifi was off. After going into the settings, it would say that the network was disconnected. I took the phone to T-mobile and they tested the sim card in another phone, to which it worked just fine. So that told me that something was obviously wrong with my handset. I restored the phone back to factory default and was able to make calls again. Imperium was still installed on it. So I went back into recovery and wiped the phone clean. After selecting to restart the phone in TWRP, I got stuck on the bootloader screen. So I downloaded LG Bridge and got it working again. I was going to wait till I got a notification to upgrade Android before rooting it again, but after 2 days, I never got it. Has anyone else had this happen? I thought Imperium was cool but I'm not thinking of just going with another custom ROM.
