[Q] automatically add country code in dialer - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to make the htc dialer automatically add the country code (1-xxx) as a prefix to any number I'd like to dial?
Normally I could have 1-123-456-7890 saved as A, however if I dial 456-7890, it won't show that I dialed person A. So it is possible to make the dialer automatically have 1-123 already input whenever I open it?

How to enter correct numbers format in contacts?

Hi all,
I'm just wondering, how to write phone number in right format in cases, when I need an additional digits to be dialed. For example, Voice Mail. I should dial an access number and the PIN. I just want to automate this process. In all my previous phones I just added "p" or " , " before the PIN. In our phone just "w" is works and it's meaning, that I need to push "talk" button again to dial rest of the number (PIN). Any ideas how to make it works fully automaticly?

DTMF

Please any body know of any dailer app that can send numbers automatically as dtmf string i.e to make international call using prepaid card I have to write down the phone number then input it manually after entering the card pin. Most mobiles have this funtion but not Winmo.
Do you mean you want a app thats creates sound out of the speaker in DTMF off a contact??
If you need that i have a contactmgr plugin for that!
(Sorry for my bad englisch)
scenario: I have a prepaid phone card to make an international call. The card has an access number and pin. To make a call, i must first dial the access number, enter the pin after the voice prompt then lastly my destination phone number. I dont want to key-in each number seperately. I want a dialer that would permit me through pop-up menu to search for destination number in contact list then another pop-up menu with option to send number or contact found as DTMF. Most mobiles and cordless phones have this function why not winmo?

Speed Dial for Call Forwarding

Had a check through the search but didn't find anythging relating to my minor problem.
I have set up 2 contacts and asigned them to speed dials to activate and another to deactivate call forwarding and this works fine through the phone applet. However, when I try and asign the same codes to a third party app, like the favourite contacts tab in HTC home, the speed dial will not work and returns an error mentioning signal or incorrect number.
The codes I use are
**21* number # to activate
##21# to deactivate
Could it be that these GSM codes are not recognised through the third party apps?
Its not a huge problem but I am curious as to why it doesn't work - I also tried with voice dial but the same error comes back.
Anyone with a similar problem of fix for this?
I am on o2 with stock WM6.1 Rom.

Question about Default Dialer...

Hi all...
Not quite sure how to search for this particular "feature", but when dialing a number, the numbers show up all together. For example, dialing 555-555-1212, it shows up as 5555551212. Is there a way to get it to show up like (555) 555-1212 or 555-555-1212? Or do I need to install a dialer skin for this?
(Using the Kaiser_HyperDragon_III_Raphael_NoM2D_WWE_20090113 ROM)
TIA!

Dialer forcing ussd codes?

Why are my speed dial contacts trying use ussd codes when pushed?
What do you think is corrupted?
Tia
Your speed dial entries?
Yes, by holding down the number you assign, its supposed to dial, and out used to work fine. Today it tries to send the number as a ussd code?
Ooops, I just noticed that its not speed dial after all , its the actual phone number as it is dialing my office vmail and had a # at the end of it.
This used to work....mmmmm
Figured out out, out must have stripped out comma for the pause somewhere along my many flashes and ti restores...
