Please any body know of any dailer app that can send numbers automatically as dtmf string i.e to make international call using prepaid card I have to write down the phone number then input it manually after entering the card pin. Most mobiles have this funtion but not Winmo.
Do you mean you want a app thats creates sound out of the speaker in DTMF off a contact??
If you need that i have a contactmgr plugin for that!
(Sorry for my bad englisch)
scenario: I have a prepaid phone card to make an international call. The card has an access number and pin. To make a call, i must first dial the access number, enter the pin after the voice prompt then lastly my destination phone number. I dont want to key-in each number seperately. I want a dialer that would permit me through pop-up menu to search for destination number in contact list then another pop-up menu with option to send number or contact found as DTMF. Most mobiles and cordless phones have this function why not winmo?

I've always found that you can just dial numbers while you're in a call, you just use the... dialpad. :/
I had one contact which dials one of those 0870 numbers for cheaper international calls, someone pointed out to me that to get the phone to pause inbetween dialing a number, you could setup a Contact with commas to achieve a pause (I think each comma pauses the dialing for about a second)... So I have 0870234821,,001598238 (for example, the numbers aren't real numbers, but you get the idea).
I've always found that I can just dial on the keypad if I'm in a call though, you just dial and it dials the DTMF. Am I missing a trick here? I've not installed any other dialing software, I'm just using the supplied software, just with the default skin.
i know wot u mean.... but i'm contstantly having to dial numbers whilst in call, so it would be useful to have a tool that will allow you to do this rather than dummying number and having a pause for different dtmf's

i've tried this software but whilst incall, it doesnt trigger off... am i doing something wrong.
I see what you mean...
... Here's a thought; how about recording some combos of DTMF tones to predefined wave files, and triggering them on the phone whilst you're in a call? There's a chance the phone might pick them up as they're being played, and relay them down the line... Just a thought for this morning, one I've not tried in practice yet, but it might work.
it is good to use.
i use short tone and delay time change to 50ms.
nice !
thanks a lot
Can't get dialDTMF to work. The tones are played when I go to contacts -> dialDTMF, but only when NOT in a call. If I'm in a call and try to use dialDTMF nothing happens after I pick either work/home/mobile number.
Or am I using this tool the wrong way?
Hi guys... coming from the PalmOS world, there's still some things I need to figure out on this marvelous WM6 world
Is there an app that lets me use a Calling Card type of call? On PalmOS I had an app called TakePhone that would allow me to specify a certain dialing mask to match and then it would dial my calling card platform (as my Caller ID is authenticated, no need to dial a PIN) and then prompt me to dial the destination number I had selected. Is there a way or an app to do this on WM6?
Thanks!
Check sunnysoft.com
It is a nice app btw, although at first you will be confused how it works
But once you understood, it works fine in HTC Kaiser and very nice.
Other cheap solution is to combine the phone numbers using the contact manager.
So, for example, create this contact:
"Calling Card - John"
<ccphonenumber>ppp<johnphonenumber>
Like this: 09002345ppp004976217621
The ppp = delay delay delay
I am not sure if that works, but I got that trick from here:

Thanks, will check that out.
There must be some good solution out there.
Adding the commas and all that is fine for a few contacts, but doing this for all your international numbers or on the fly numbers is sincerely a p.i.t.a.
I use a lot of prepay phone cards to call home and they all uses access numbers and pin codes. I always have to write down phone numbers or try to remember them because i can't send or dial contacts directly as DTMF. Can anybody help please.
use magicall
i have been ysing magicall for sometime now it is the best solution for callfiltring and it will solve your porablem too juuat like you i make many calls using prepaid card and magicall has ooption to filter your outgoing calls, if you are intrested you can ask later i will tell you how to set it up
DTMF help
Thanks but the software doesn't have the feature which I am interested in. I want to be able to send phone numbers directly fron contacts as a DTMF string while already on a call rather than typing it on the pad.
I could have sworn that Pocket Informant 2007 allowed you to do this... (under 2003SE at least) but I can't find it on my Kaiser at all

Hi all,
I'm just wondering, how to write phone number in right format in cases, when I need an additional digits to be dialed. For example, Voice Mail. I should dial an access number and the PIN. I just want to automate this process. In all my previous phones I just added "p" or " , " before the PIN. In our phone just "w" is works and it's meaning, that I need to push "talk" button again to dial rest of the number (PIN). Any ideas how to make it works fully automaticly?
Is there any way to make the htc dialer automatically add the country code (1-xxx) as a prefix to any number I'd like to dial?
Normally I could have 1-123-456-7890 saved as A, however if I dial 456-7890, it won't show that I dialed person A. So it is possible to make the dialer automatically have 1-123 already input whenever I open it?
