hi..i was on sweet rom v10 for n7000 ...thought ill add the crt off effect and flashed the zip file from on e of the xda threads...unfortunately went into bootloop....then did a clean wipe and tried a restore from a 2 week old nandriod backup which was from my stock rom. following this phone started up but when i clicked gallery, snote all these applications just closed and the icon just vanished from the screen.
now thinking of loading a fresh stock rom namely N7000DDLSC N7000ODDLSC - India from Dr.Ketan's thread...im on philz kernel latest version.
Also can i flash the zip file from recovery or should i extract tar file and flash it via download mode in odin...any help will be appreciated ..thanks

Hello, I need to go back from LP1 ICS (imilka) to stock rom, which is the easiest way to do that?
I do not have a Windows PC and no PC Odin for that reason, could I flash one of the stock roms with Mobile Odin?

Hi, as far as I can tell the procedure goes like this. You flash AbyssNote http://www.mediafire.com/?o2yi462tby2lzan
Then you restart recovery. Now full wipe and then you can flash stock rom or restore your nandroid backup. I hope this helps.
You can watch this just to be sure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr3DDEh8vyc&hd=1

hello,
yes flashing abyss with mobile odin worked fine, had to extract the zImage from the zip file first
will install rom now via recovery when download is finished, thx guys
Just mobile odin is enough
1.extract rom(stock) file to tar.md5 n place on sd card
2.open mobile odin, select open file n point to rom file.
3. enable ever root option if you want to keep root intact
4flash
Done
You need nothing to do with abyss kernel
Still u ned any clearance, download guide from last link on my signature, extract it. You will find a file 'update rom using mobile odin' in new folder.

Hi
I had a problem occurring frequently when trying to install TheMIDTeam 1.1 Codename "B&G".
Coming from the GB stock rom that can be directly rooted (Version KL3), I was on step 1. while using mobile odin pro and select install file. I choose the midnote base 2.1 and the kernel image zimage. then i select the all the options(Everoot, su, mobile odin and wipe data/cache). i perform the md5 check and it flashes and reboots into recovery.
the problem is at this point. it reboot into recovery but it reflashes everything that was flashed in mobile odin pro and reboots again. it does this repeatedly. even if i pull out the battery and put it back and boot into it. the only way to get out of in is to use pc odin and install the stock KL3 rom.
Please help in the install of the rom...
Thanks in advance

You can download
lp1 repack from here:
http://www.mirorii.com/fichier/3/501208/I9220LP1-N7000-ICS-REPACK-tar.html
- Put it on your sd card,
- open Mobile Odin and press "open file", find lp1 repack file and select it.
- keep ever root, super user & inject mobile odin checked. Also check "wipe date and cache"
- Flash firmware
Once finished you will be in cwm recovery. Boot your device.
Then open mobile odin again and select the base file, then kernel file then repeat - keep ever root, super user & inject mobile odin checked. Also check "wipe date and cache"
- Flash firmware
Hope this helps
Hey peeps iv got a big problem it happened yesterday with my Galaxy note GTn7000. I was on stock ICS LPT and was flashing new kernels through CWM when suddenly my phone just kept freezing on the Samsung screen when I start it up and it has been happening since yesterday. I think it was the speedmod ICS kernel that I flashed that made this happen. I flashed Abys kernel through odin and could get in to CWM. I did factory reset/wipe cache/dalvik/cache and then flashed checkrom which was on my SD card. Installation was fine but then it got stuck on the Galaxy note startup screen. I was searching for answers on the XDA forums and someone suggested that you flash a stock full wipe GB rom. So I tried to flash LC1 open Europe rom and was waiting for an hour the the rom to flash through ODIN which had only a bit left on the bar to flash and it didn’t flash it just froze. I tried 3 times and the same thing happened . I have used the USB jig to erase previous downloads and reset binary count. I flashed ICS LPT rom through odin and it flashed normally but when it starts up it gets stuck on the Samsung screen. Any suggestions? I can get into download mode and CWM so it means Im in a softbrick. Do you think I should download an ICS rom and put it on to my SD card and then try flashing it ? Help would be appreciated thanks.
Here is the video of what happens. Basically i have waited for 4 hours yesterday and it just stays on the samsung screen
Hey, Id recommend you flashing back to GB via ODIN before we continue.
ICS still has a few bugs and that could interfere with getting you back up and running.
Hey thanks i will download a new GB stock rom, i cant post the video link because im a new member dang...

So you've extracted the original tar file, you don't need to, just point the original tar file to the pda section of pc odin, it will sort out each partition for you.

Is it a rar. Or a zip? If it's a rar, re download from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 then extract one level with 7zip to get the tar file.

I am running stock 4.0.4 with hydracore kernel.
I am getting the OTA update but cannot install.
how can i get back to the stock kernel without flashing the stock rom via pc odin ?
You got 2 options...
1. Download the stock ROM on your PC and extract the kernel (zImage) and flash it after
2. Download Chainfire's stock CF-Root kernel from this link- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331784 and find the kernel that matches your ROM (on your region.

Download stock kernel for your rom from here and then flash using mobile odin or K-tools. I have done it many times using mobile odin and it even retains root.
But there is still no guarantee of OTA, I was on stock LR6 with stock kernel with mods and OTA failed everytime, now flashed GB and updating to LR6 via kies to use OTA.

or can i flash the zimage from mobile odin?
Most often it will.. since your using PC Odin.. but there's nothing impossible as long as you root your phone back and use ChainFire's TriangleAway app to remove the counter back to 0.
EDIT: Yes, MOdin can flash Zimage as well.. try to look for some of the answers here as well -->>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1713289
Flashing anything which is stock should not raise custom count, same way as flashing stock firmware using pc odin doesn't. but why take chances when you can flash it using mobile odin or K-tools easily.
I even once flashed stock kernel using Doomlord's tool (used in CF root kernels to root and flash , it didn't raise the custom count.
Just put zimage on root of SD and flash by MO or ktools, easy. Modin can handle zimage and tar both.

Yes, that's why I said no guarantee of OTA even after flashing stock kernel, I was on stock kernel already and never flashed custom but still had to flash GB from odin for OTA
Oh my god, I may did something wrong.
I was on stock ICS and followed the steps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801686
Apparently it was for CM not for the official JB. Official JB comes with a .tar.md5 file type, not .zip, so that I cannot flash it from CWM.
Any suggestions?
1. is it necessary to go to CM and use mobile odin?
2. rename the .md5 to .zip?
ICS stock rom is able to use Mobile odin to flash md5 n update zip such like kernals.
b4 start flashing any roms make sure u got a safe kernal !important ! do a backup of ur working rom wif ur safe kernal cwmr
when u flash via Mobile odin successful u might lost root , u can find philz safe kernal using the search button.
CWM is not able to flash md5 files , u can get deodex custom rom from the thread for using CWM flashable

I flashed the safe kernal so that I cannot boot my phone but CWM only.
Now I flashed CM and then mobile odin to HK official JB rom, thanks.
