Maps Navigation works perfectly with no headphones, but when I plug them in (car AUX plug) when the music quiets for a direction, no sound comes.
Wiped maps data already.
Any ideas?

There has to be a way to sync with bluetooth of the desktop dock without you being on the dock. I want to play music on my phone to speakers attached to the dock while I'm out and about. There has to be a way. When I dc my phone real quick from dock, music is still playing through bluetooth for a few second s before it dc.
Any luck any one?

Pair and connect your phone to the dock without it being docked. Your bluetooth should connect and let you play audio through it then.

I'm stock froyo, unrooted using samsung captivate car dock.
Is there a way to get call audio or google navigation prompts to output via the dock 3.5mm jack?
Currently it seems all I get is music player and notification sounds. Everything else goes to phone speaker.

I'm using Bluetooth in my car to stream music from spotify. Everything works just fine until I turn off the car. Then my phone has no sound. The speaker just pops like it wants to work and spotify shows it is playing music just no sound output. This also happens with my jelly box speaker as well.

I've noticed using mono bluetooth speakers watching movies the sync is ok but use it with the car or any stereo bluetooth speakers and the sync is out of whack.
Anyone else noticed this?

no this issue on my note 8
it seems to works sporadically. also when i unplug the cable it still does not work. Only when I toogle it to speaker. I erased the bluetooth connection from the car and phone and set it up again and still a no go. bluetooth works on my headphones btw. So not sure what the issue is.
This is most likey because the microphone in your car stereo is unplugged or otherwise not working. If it's a stock stereo take it to the dealer and if it's an aftermarket then check the cable
